This underscores the importance of careful engineering of materials to suppress coke formation and tune product distribution by rational control of the location of zeolite acid sites and crystallographic orientations. © 2020 The Authors. It has been several decades since reported diet quality during pregnancy was examined on Navajo Nation. We present the first study to estimate iodine intake and use the Healthy Eating Index (HEI-2015) to assess maternal diet quality among pregnant women in the Navajo Birth Cohort Study (NBCS). Based on dietary intake data derived from food frequency questionnaires, overall estimated micronutrient intake has remained similar since the last assessment in 1981, with potential improvements evident for folate and niacin. A high proportion of women (>50%) had micronutrient intakes from dietary sources below the Estimated Average Requirements during pregnancy. The median urinary iodine concentration for NBCS women (90.8 μg/L; 95% CI [80, 103.5]) was less than adequate and lower than concentrations reported for pregnant women that participated in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) between 2011 and 2014. Overall, average diet quality of NBCS women estimated using the HEI-2015 (62.4; 95% CI [60.7, 64.0]) was similar to that reported for women of child-bearing age and pregnant women in NHANES. Although, NBCS women had diets high in added sugar, with sugar-sweetened beverages as the primary contributors. Our study provides updated insights on maternal diet quality that can inform health and nutrition initiatives in Navajo communities emphasizing nutrition education and access to prenatal vitamins and calcium, iodine, and vitamin E dense foods. © 2020 The Authors. Lower back and neck pain were the leading causes of disability in England from 1990 to 2016. Clinical Assessment and Treatment Services (CATs) have been established to provide expert assessment and management for this group of patients, with the aim of providing the majority of care within primary care, reducing referrals going through to secondary care. Such services require professionals with the appropriate skills and autonomy to fulfil this aim. This paper describes the development, implementation and evaluation of a bespoke Musculoskeletal Trainee programme within a large Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service. A 12-month training schedule was designed to assist the transition of a Physiotherapist (Band 7) to Advanced Practitioner level (Band 8a). Trainees worked through a series of competencies, captured their experiences and collected evidence of achievement during the 12-month period. Their experiences were explored using content analysis and common themes were identified. Three Physiotherapists were employed on the basis of undertaking this programme and successfully completed the programme. They highlighted the benefits of the programme being its bespoke nature and its flexibility to reflect their learning needs. Mentorship was a key component as they all identified that progressing to an autonomous role can be challenging. Learning new skills and working differently at a pace that suited them were seen as positives aspects. This programme describes the competencies and experiences of three individuals progressing to Advanced Practice Physiotherapists. This paper may assist those who manage and commission such services. © 2020 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.The homologation of alkanes via alkane metathesis is catalyzed at low temperatures (150 °C) by the silica-supported species (≡SiO)WMe5 and (≡SiO)TaMe4 , while (≡SiO)TaMe3 Cp* is inactive. The contrasting reactivity is paralleled by differences in the 13 C NMR signature; the former display significantly more deshielded isotropic chemical shifts (δiso ) and almost axially symmetric chemical shift tensors, similar to what is observed in their molecular precursors TaMe5 and WMe6 . Selleck Cisplatin Analysis of the chemical shift tensors reveals the presence of a triple-bond character in their metal-carbon (formally single) bond. This electronic structure is reflected in their propensity to generate alkylidynes and to participate in alkane metathesis, further supporting the role of alkylidynes as key reaction intermediates. This study establishes chemical shift as a descriptor to identify potential alkane metathesis catalysts. © 2020 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. Having a clear understanding and high expectations toward students with specific learning difficulties (SpLD) is important if these students are to reach their potential. This study examined 276 British primary and secondary teachers' perceptions toward inclusive education for all, and their causal attributions toward students with and without SpLD. The results show that teachers who believe that inclusive education is an effective way to teach all students, provide greater positive feedback, feel less frustrated, and hold lower expectations for future failure, in comparison to their colleagues with more negative inclusive educational beliefs. Teachers need to believe that inclusive education is an effective way to teach all students, and that they, as teachers are capable of managing this. However, they need to be provided with relevant systemic support. © 2020 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.AIM This study aimed to determine the utility of chronic kidney disease (CKD)-related health states in the Korean general population by using the standard gamble (SG) method. METHODS Seven hypothetical CKD-related health states were developed and revised based on previous publications. Data from 242 individuals from the Korean general population were obtained via computer-assisted personal interviews and used to evaluate the CKD-related health states by using the visual analogue scale (VAS) and SG methods. Mean and median utility values were calculated for each health state. To assess the reliability of the valuation, some samples were retested and evaluated using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC). RESULTS In all health states, the utility weights from SG were higher than those from VAS. The difference in utility values between the two valuation methods ranged from 0.258 to 0.308. The utility value of CKD grade 3 was the highest and that of peritoneal dialysis (PD) was the lowest. The utility weights tended to decrease in accordance with the progression of CKD.
