Slot missions can be a great way to get gear, weapons, and more. But they're also difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

They can also be found any time. Smuggled items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that hide only small objects within scenery and objects directly.

Mission planning is an option available in the form of episodic missions. It allows players to discover different starting points, smuggled objects, and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This allows players to prepare the perfect task for every challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice that their gear slots quickly become full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message that prevents Max from picking new equipment until old items are cleared or more space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They offer more inventory space for completing challenging missions. Because many of these challenges can be not completed and are scattered across the globe, it might take some time to obtain the most inventory slots available in the game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot and retrieve them later.

These pickups are especially useful when you have to go through a frisk in the course of the mission or if you're carrying a weapon that could otherwise be suspect. However, you can only conceal one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.

This DLC also includes new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and armor. Once you've reached the marker be sure to identify a group when you arrive.
