This study was designed to determine the relation between religion and the motivations of future healthcare professionals to volunteer during the COVID-19 outbreak in Poland. Data were collected from 417 healthcare students via an online questionnaire. The results indicated that although students' religiosity was not a significant predictor of volunteering during the pandemic, it played a key role in determining their motivations to join the fight against COVID-19. There was a significant positive relationship between students' religiosity and their eagerness to commit for the sake of the community rather than for personal or egoistic motives. To acquire reference data for setting an appropriate compressed sensitivity encoding (CS) for brain lesion detectability, the effects of contrast and noise on contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were evaluated. Gadobutrol at various concentrations and manganese chloride tetrahydrate were used as a phantom. Various CS factors (0-10) and denoising levels (weak, medium, and strong) were assessed. The contrast amount decreased from CS7 in non-denoised images for 0.5-2 mmol/L solutions but slightly decreased from CS7 with denoising. The noise amount significantly increased with an increasing CS factor. Generally, there was a significant difference in the denoising level and rate across all CS factors in the case of the 2 and 0 mmol/L solutions. When the CS factor was increased without denoising, the integrated noise power spectrum (NPS) increased and decreased in the high-frequency and low-frequency areas, respectively. selleck These data can be used to establish settings based on the degree of denoising.Spondylodiscitis is a complex disease whose diagnosis and management are still challenging. The differentiation between infectious and non-infectious aetiology is mandatory to avoid delays in the treatment of life-threatening infectious conditions. Imaging methods, in particular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), play a key role in differential diagnosis. MRI provides detailed anatomical information, especially regarding the epidural space and spinal cord, and may allow differential diagnosis by assessing the characteristics of certain infectious and inflammatory/degenerative lesions. In this article, we provide an overview of the radiological characteristics and differentiating features of non-infectious inflammatory spinal disorders and infectious spondylodiscitis, focussing on MRI results and presenting relevant clinical and pathological features that help early diagnosis.Research on environmental footprint family (EFF), including these studies of environmental footprints and footprint family, has been widely applied to environmental impact assessment and sustainability evaluation. Although some bibliometric studies have focused on footprint indicators, there is still the lack of the contrast of Chinese and foreign literature in the field of EFF and the conclusions of successful practices at home and abroad in recent years. Unlike most previous papers, we improve the search strategy for collecting accurate documents data and compare China and foreign from a unified international perspective. Two datasets covering 1103 Chinese and 6011 foreign articles between 1996 and 2019 were collected to compare their bibliometric differences in EFF research. We not only comparatively investigate the overview of Chinese and foreign articles in EFF field based on the objects of publications, journals, authors, and institutions, but also explore their differences in the conceptual and intellectual structure from the aspects of keywords and citation analysis. For example, we can deduce that Chinese articles tend to engage in applied research and lack of theoretical innovations and breakthroughs in this field. Our comparative research results are useful and helpful for the public, policymakers, and researchers in this filed.Glyphosate (GLP) is the most commonly used herbicide that presents many hazards to the environment and living organisms. The present study aimed to explore hepatotoxic properties of GLP on adult albino rats, and the ability of N-acetylcysteine (NAC) to ameliorate these toxic effects. Thirty mature male albino rats were distributed into 3 groups (10 rats/group) Group I (C) a negative control, Group II (GLP) orally administered Roundup 0.8503 ml/kg/day which contain GLP (375 mg/kg) (1/10 of LD50) by gavage needle, and Group III (NAC+ GLP) received NAC (160 mg/kg, 1h before Roundup) by gavage needle and Roundup (0.8503 ml/kg) orally for 6 weeks. Blood and liver samples were collected and processed for biochemical, histopathological, ultrastructural, and immunohistochemical investigations. Group II displayed a significant elevation of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and malondialdehyde (MDA) levels, as well as overexpression of apoptotic markers. The total antioxidant capacity "Tf GLP exposure through its antioxidant property and free radicals scavenging capacity. The study was conducted to explore the influence of geomorphic features scattered throughout the area on the occurrence and distribution of arsenic in shallow groundwater. GIS techniques were frequently used to identify the geomorphic features and to correlate with arsenic distribution patterns. The study shows that the occurrence of geomorphic features and their distribution have a vital role in the heterogeneous distribution pattern of arsenic in shallow groundwater. The frequency distribution of geomorphic features is found similar to the arsenic distribution pattern. The moderate to highly contaminated zones are mostly consolidated to the central and southeastern part of the study area. Arsenic contamination levels are varying in different fluvial plains of the study area following the trend of Older Deltaic Plain (ODP) > Older Flood Plain (OFP) > Active Flood Plain (AFP). It has also been observed that arsenic contamination along the different geomorphic features follows the trend of abandoned channels > back swamps > other water bodies > swamps > cut-off meanders > meander scars > ponds > oxbow lakes > channel bar > point bars >channel islands. The present study indicates that the geomorphic features play a significant role in the mobilization of arsenic in shallow groundwater by supplying accumulated organic matter.
