Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are an excellent method to earn gear weapons, equipment and more. They're not easy to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot lets you to carry pistols on the course of. Some players use it to help them achieve certain achievements, particularly those who want to achieve Suit Only. Smuggled items differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is an option available in episodic missions. It allows players to discover different starting points, smuggled objects and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. The options for planning increase as players advance through challenges and gain higher Mission Mastery levels. This lets players plan the ideal mission for each challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice their gear slots quickly fill up, leading to the common "Your Gear Slots are full" message which prevents Max from picking new equipment until the old items are cleared or more space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They provide more inventory space for completing challenges missions. Because many of these challenges could be not completed and are scattered across the globe, it could take some time to obtain the most inventory slots in the game.

The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear. These must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agents can pick up the passengers.

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations let you keep items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot, and take them out later.

These pick-ups can be useful if your mission requires you to go through a frisk or you have a weapon on you that could raise suspicion. You can only hide one item at a pickup location.

This DLC also includes new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. Talk to famous slots at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Once you have reached the marker for your mission be sure to identify a group at the time you arrive.
