To investigate the diagnostic performance of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in the differentiation of primary thyroid lymphoma (PTL) and nodular Hashimoto's thyroiditis (NHT) in patients with background of heterogeneous diffuse Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT).

Sixty HT patients with 64 thyroid nodules (31 PTL and 33 NHT) who had undergone CEUS examination were included in this study. With histopathological results as the reference, we evaluated the imaging features of each nodule on both conventional ultrasonography (US) and CEUS. Quantitative CEUS parameters including peak intensity (PI), time to peak (TTP), and area under the time-intensity curve (AUC) were gathered in the nodule and background parenchyma. The ratio indexes of theses parameters were calculated by the ratio of the lesion and the corresponding thyroid parenchyma. Logistic regression and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves analyses of valuable US indicators were further preformed to evaluate the diagnostic capability of CEUS iof 85.9%.

Conjoint analysis of CEUS imaging features and quantification parameters could improve the diagnostic values.To identify a glycolysis-related gene signature for the evaluation of prognosis in patients with breast cancer, we analyzed the data of a training set from TCGA database and four validation cohorts from the GEO and ICGC databases which included 1,632 patients with breast cancer. We conducted GSEA, univariate Cox regression, LASSO, and multiple Cox regression analysis. Finally, an 11-gene signature related to glycolysis for predicting survival in patients with breast cancer was developed. This study is to directly compare surgical outcomes between conventional nipple-sparing mastectomy (CNSM) and robot-assisted nipple-sparing mastectomy (RNSM).

For this case-control study, 369 cases of 333 patients who underwent CNSM or RNSM with immediate reconstruction between November 2016 and January 2019 at Severance Hospital in Seoul, Republic of Korea were reviewed. Patients with stage IV breast cancer (n = 1), receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy (n = 43), or subjected to previous operations (n = 14) or radiotherapy on the breasts were excluded. The main outcomes were comparing rates of post-operative complications, of high-grade post-operative complications as defined by the Clavien-Dindo classification, and nipple necrosis between the CNSM and the RNSM groups.

EGFR-positive Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) is a dynamic entity and tumor progression and resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) arise from the accumulation, over time and across different disease sites, of subclonal genetic mutations. For instance, the occurrence of EGFR T790M is associated with resistance to gefitinib, erlotinib, and afatinib, while EGFR C797S causes osimertinib to lose activity. Sensitive technologies as radiomics and liquid biopsy have great potential to monitor tumor heterogeneity since they are both minimally invasive, easy to perform, and can be repeated over patient's follow-up, enabling the extraction of valuable information. Yet, to date, there are no reported cases associating liquid biopsy and radiomics during treatment.

In this case series, seven patients with metastatic EGFR-positive NSCLC have been monitored during target therapy. Plasma-derived cell free DNA (cfDNA) was analyzed by a digital droplet PCR (ddPCR), while radiomic analyses were performed using thce of new mutations and therefore suggest new therapeutic management.

To compare perioperative, functional and oncological outcomes between transperitoneal robotic partial nephrectomy (TRPN) and retroperitoneal robotic partial nephrectomy (RRPN).

A literature searching of Pubmed, Embase, Cochrane Library and Web of Science was performed in August, 2020. Pooled odds ratios (ORs) or weighted mean differences (WMDs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were estimated using fixed-effect or random-effect model. Publication bias was evaluated with funnel plots. Only comparative studies with matched design or similar baseline characteristics were included.

Eleven studies embracing 2,984 patients were included.
