Plant selective autophagy receptors mediate autophagic degradation of not only misfolded, nonactive and otherwise unwanted cellular components but also regulatory and signaling factors and play critical roles in plant responses to a broad spectrum of biotic and abiotic stresses. In this review, we summarize the research on selective autophagy in plants, with an emphasis on the cargo recognition and the biological functions of plant selective autophagy receptors.Perfluorinated tetrathiacalix[4]arene was obtained by heating perfluoro-m-xylene with thiourea or 2,5-difluoro-4,6-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzene-1,3-dithiol at 90 °C. Interaction of perfluoro-m-xylene with resorcinol or orcinol under mild conditions and subsequent heating of the mixture with 2,5-difluoro-4,6-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzene-1,3-dithiol leads to polyfluorinated dioxadithiacalix[4]arenes. Triphenyl and pentaphenyl ethers formed by the interaction of perfluoro-m-xylene with resorcinol under heating with thiourea gives polyfluorinated oxathiacalixarenes containing six and five aromatic nuclei, respectively. The adsorption phenomenon using low-cost adsorbents that are abundant in nature is of great interest when the adsorbed capacity is significant. A newly designed natural polyelectrolyte multi-layered (PEM) biopolymeric system-based chitosan/modified chitosan polymer and functionalized cellulosic nonwoven material was prepared and used as an effective adsorbent for Reactive Red 198 (RR198) dye solutions. The bio-sorbent was characterized by FTIR, SEM, and thermal (TGA/DTA) analysis. The swelling behavior was also evaluated, showing the great increase of the hydrophilicity of the prepared adsorbent biopolymer. The effect of various process parameters on the performance of RR198 dye removal such as pH, contact time, temperature, and initial dye concentration was studied. The biopolymeric system has shown good efficiency of adsorption compared to other adsorbents based on chitosan polymer. The highest adsorption capacity was found to be 722.3 mgg-1 at pH = 4 (ambient temperature, time = 120 min and dye concentration = 600 mg L-1). The adsorption process fitted well to both pseudo-second-order kinetics and Freundlich/Temkin adsorption isotherm models. Regarding its low cost, easy preparation, and promising efficient adsorption results, this new concepted multi-layered bio-sorbent could be an effective solution for the treatment of industrial wastewater. The driving behavior of bus drivers is related to the safety of all passengers and regulation of urban traffic. In order to analyze the relevant characteristics of speed and acceleration, accurate bus trajectories and patterns are essential for driver behavior analysis and development of effective intelligent public transportation. Exploiting real-time vehicle tracking, this paper develops a platform with vehicle-mounted terminals using differential global navigation satellite system (DGNSS) modules for driver behavior analysis. The DGNSS traces were used to derive the vehicle trajectories, which were then linked to road information to produce speed and acceleration matrices. Comprehensive field tests were undertaken on multiple bus routes in urban environments. The spatiotemporal results indicate that the platform can automatically and accurately extract the driving behavior characteristics. Furthermore, the platform's visual function can be used to effectively monitor driving risks, such as speeding and fierce acceleration, in multiple bus routes. The details of the platform's features are provided for intelligent transport system (ITS) design and applications.Traffic sign recognition in poor environments has always been a challenge in self-driving. Although a few works have achieved good results in the field of traffic sign recognition, there is currently a lack of traffic sign benchmarks containing many complex factors and a robust network. In this paper, we propose an ice environment traffic sign recognition benchmark (ITSRB) and detection benchmark (ITSDB), marked in the COCO2017 format. The benchmarks include 5806 images with 43,290 traffic sign instances with different climate, light, time, and occlusion conditions. Second, we tested the robustness of the Libra-RCNN and HRNetv2p on the ITSDB compared with Faster-RCNN. The Libra-RCNN performed well and proved that our ITSDB dataset did increase the challenge in this task. Third, we propose an attention network based on high-resolution traffic sign classification (PFANet), and conduct ablation research on the design parallel fusion attention module. Experiments show that our representation reached 93.57% accuracy in ITSRB, and performed as well as the newest and most effective networks in the German traffic sign recognition dataset (GTSRB).To clarify the possibility of event-related potential (ERP) evoked by heel lance in neonates as an index of pain assessment, knowledge acquired by and problems of the methods used in studies on ERP evoked by heel lance in neonates were systematically reviewed, including knowledge about Aδ and C fibers responding to noxious stimuli and Aβ fibers responding to non-noxious stimuli. Of the 863 reports searched, 19 were selected for the final analysis. The following points were identified as problems for ERP evoked by heel lance in neonates to serve as a pain assessment index (1) It is possible that the ERP evoked by heel lance reflected the activation of Aβ fibers responding to non-noxious stimuli and not the activation of Aδ or C fibers responding to noxious stimulation; (2) Sample size calculation was presented in few studies, and the number of stimulation trials to obtain an averaged ERP was small. Accordingly, to establish ERP evoked by heel lance as a pain assessment in neonates, it is necessary to perform a study to clarify ERP evoked by Aδ- and C-fiber stimulations accompanied by heel lance in neonates.Proteins have been used as building blocks to provide various supramolecular structures in efforts to develop nano-biomaterials possessing broad biological functionalities. A series of unique structures have been obtained from the engineering of hemoproteins which contain the iron porphyrin known as heme, as a prosthetic group. This work in developing assembling systems is extended using cytochrome b562, a small electron transfer hemoprotein engineered to include an externally-attached heme moiety. The engineered units, which form a one-dimensional assembly via interprotein heme-heme pocket interactions, are conjugated to an apo-form of hexameric tyrosine-coordinated hemoprotein (apoHTHP) to provide a branching unit promoting the assembly of a star-shaped structure. LW 6 ic50 The incorporation of the heme moiety attached to the protein surface of cytochrome b562 into apoHTHP can be accelerated by elevating the reaction temperature to generate a new assembly. The formation of a new larger assembly structure was confirmed by size exclusion chromatography.
