Replacing a Dead Kia Ceed Key Fob

Kia Ceed owners love the convenience of remote keyless entry. But, just like any other device the key fob may stop working for many reasons. The battery can be easily and cheaply replaced.

The key fob is powered by a 2032 lithium-ion coin battery commonly referred to as "CR2032" and can be found in other electronic devices. To open the key fob, all you require a standard screwdriver.

Keyless entry

Smart key fobs for the KIA Ceed are becoming increasingly popular. They make it easier to lock, unlock and start the car.
