37% in production costs per week, where in 23 weeks following the same conditions it is expected to have a healthy plantation without infected plants. The use of a bioinformatics pipeline as a tool to support diagnostic and theranostic decisions in the healthcare process requires the definition of detailed development workflow guidelines. Therefore, we implemented protocols that describe step-by-step all the command lines and actions that the developers have to follow. Our protocols capitalized on the two powerful and widely used tools git and GitLab, and are based on gitflow, a well-established workflow in the software engineering community. They address two use cases a nominal mode to develop a new feature in the bioinformatics pipeline and a hotfix mode to correct a bug that occurred in the production environment. The protocols are available as a comprehensive documentation at https//biogitflow.readthedocs.io and the main concepts, steps and principles are presented in this report. Background Surrogacy might be a reproductive process that brings joy and fulfilment to many but it also brings with it numerous ethical and legal concerns; it raises questions about the fundamental human rights, welfare and wellbeing of women and infants especially within a context where it is barely regulated. This article examines the perception of surrogacy within the Yoruba socio-cultural context in Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. It brings to the fore various socio-cultural concerns that questions the influence of surrogacy as a reproductive process on womanhood, motherhood and parenthood. It discusses by analysing the narratives of participants how surrogacy process is a dereliction of the sacredness and cultural sanctity of the family system, most especially in an African context. Methods 15 stakeholders (traditional birth attendants and gynaecologists) were engaged in an in-depth interview to unravel the challenges surrogacy might or is encountering within the socio-cultural context of Ado-Ekiti. Results There are various social, cultural and religious beliefs that police the reproductive sphere of the Yoruba socio-cultural group, which has grave implications on fertility treatment. These socio-cultural and religious factors do not provide a fertile ground for surrogacy to thrive within the study location. Hence, it is important that the socio-cultural framing of reproduction within this cultural context become receptive to medical reproductive solutions and innovations if at all the processes are to thrive or at least become less stigmatised. Conclusions The process of surrogacy is very complex and people's attitude towards the practice is greatly influenced by their culture, religion and social belief systems about what is considered appropriate for procreation. Also, it is important to have clear-cut policy regulating surrogacy and all forms of ARTs in Nigeria, as this will protect women and infants, as well as, ensure that they are not to exposed abuse, commercialization and exploitation. Background There is controversy among physicians regarding the use of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients treated with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Moreover, the evidence of previous studies about this topic remained inconclusive. This study aimed to perform a meta-analysis concerning the relation between the risk of major bleeding and the use of different DAPT (clopidogrel or ticagrelor) in ACS patients treated with CABG. Methods A meta-analysis was conducted during March to October 2019. Searches were carried out in Pubmed, Embase, Cochrane, and Web of Science. The predictor covariate in our present study was DAPT (clopidogrel or ticagrelor), and the outcome measure was the risk of major bleeding. Sub-group analysis was also performed, where data were classified into pre- and post-CABG. Furthermore, to determine the correlation and effect estimation, data were analyzed using fixed or random effect model. Results A total of 13 studies consisting 34,015 patients treated with clopidogrel and 32,661 patients treated with ticagrelor was included in our study. Our pooled calculation revealed that the incidence of major bleeding was not different significantly between clopidogrel and ticagrelor. In pre- and post-CABG sub-groups, our results also found no significant difference in major bleeding incidence between clopidogrel and ticagrelor groups. Conclusions Our meta-analysis clarifies that clopidogrel, compared to ticagrelor, or vice versa, is not associated with the risk of major bleeding in ACS patients treated with CABG.Objective To systematically review and summarize the relevant evidence of safe sleep protection strategies for infants at home and abroad, to provide a reference for clinical evidence-based decision-making and guideline formulation. Methods "Infant Death/Sudden Unexpected Infant Death/Sudden Infant Death Syndrome" and "Sleep protecting program/Sleep safety/Sleeping environment" were used as search keywords. The literature retrieval for all the Chinese and English evidence on safe sleep protection strategies for infants published before March 2020 was conducted by using the National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC), Registered Nurse' Association of Ontario (RNAO), National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN), Guidelines International Network (GIN), JBI, Clinical Evidence, China Evidence-based Medicine Center, PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, Wanfang Data, CNKI and other databases. Inclusion criteria were guidelines, evidence summary and systematic reviewsy 39 terms of evidences were summarized, including 6 aspects of assessment, planning, implementation, health education (pregnant women, parents and other infant caregivers), evaluation, organization and policy. Conclusion The evidence summary of infant safe sleep protection provides evidence support for formulating infant safe sleep care standards and carrying out scientific and high-quality clinical nursing practices. Objective To explore the clinical effects of pre-expanded anterior perforator flap of transverse cervical artery in extensive facial and cervical scar reconstruction and contralateral pre-expanded thoracic random flap in relay in donor site repair. Methods A retrospective cohort study was conducted. From May 2008 to December 2018, 10 patients with extensive facial and cervical scar after burns were treated in the Fourth Medical Center of PLA General Hospital, including 8 males and 2 females, aged 10-55 years. In the first stage of operation, two skin and soft tissue expanders of the same volume (with rated capacity of 250-600 mL) were respectively placed in the right side and left side of the chest according to the size of scar, and then the skin was expanded. The total amount of normal saline injected was 2 to 4 times of the rated capacity of the expander. In the second stage, the defect with area of 12 cm×8 cm-23 cm×15 cm caused by scar resection and release was repaired with unilateral pre-expanded anterioh the surrounding tissue, the functions of head raising and neck rotation of patients were significantly improved compared with those before operation, the color and texture of the flap transplanted in the first donor site matched with the original skin, linear scar left at the surgical incision, and 9 patients were satisfied with the restoration of the appearance and function of donor and recipient sites. Conclusions The color and texture of the pre-expanded anterior perforator flap of transverse cervical artery match well with the face and neck, and the repairable area is large. After the perforator flap is removed, the secondary wound can be repaired with the pre-expanded thoracic random flap at the same time, and the injury of the chest donor site is alleviated. This relay repair method is a good choice for reconstructing extensive facial and cervical scar. Objective To establish a predictive model for acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) in critical burn patients with the screened independent risk factors, and to validate its predictive value. Methods Totally 131 critical burn patients (101 males and 30 females, aged 18-84 years) who met the inclusion criteria were admitted to the Department of Burns of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine from January 2018 to December 2019. A retrospective case-control study was conducted. The patients were divided into ARDS group (54 cases) and non-ARDS group (77 cases) according to whether ARDS occurred or not. The statistics of patients in the two groups were recorded including the gender, age, burn index, combination of inhalation injury, smoking history, delayed resuscitation, indwelling nasogastric tube, and complication of sepsis, and the data were statistically analyzed with independent sample t test, chi-square test, and Fisher's exact probability test. The multivariate logistroportion of complication of sepsis of patients were significantly higher in ARDS group than in non-ARDS group (t=0.36, χ2=33.78, 49.92, P85.0%, and some risk of underestimating ARDS incidence when the prediction probability was 35.0%-85.0%. Conclusions The burn index, inhalation injury, and sepsis are the independent risk factors for the occurrence of ARDS in critical burn patients. The risk prediction model for ARDS based on these three indicators has good predictive ability for ARDS in critical burn patients. Objective To understand the epidemiological characteristics of COVID-19 cases, including asymptomatic cases and symptomatic cases, in the outbreak in Xinfadi market in Beijing. Methods Data and epidemiological survey reports of COVID-19 cases in Xinfadi market in Beijing were extracted from China's Infectious Disease Information System. Epidemiological characteristics of symptomatic cases and asymptomatic cases were analyzed and compared by using software SPSS 19.0. Results From June 11 to July 10, 2020, a total of 368 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in the outbreak in Xinfadi market, in which, 335 (91.03%) were symptomatic and 33 (8.97%) were asymptomatic. The cases were distributed in 11 districts, and most cases (252/368, 68.48%) were reported in Fengtai district. The incidence curve of the cases showed a typical outbreak pattern, the case number peaked on 13 June. The median age of the cases were 43 years (QR 31-51). The asymptomatic cases (M=32, QR 29-46) were younger than the symptomatic cases (M=43, QR 31-52), the difference was significant (Z=2.416, P=0.016). The ratio of male to female was 1.26∶1. Selleck Mizagliflozin Most cases (236/368, 64.13%) were engaged in catering service and public place service. About 73.91% of the cases (272/368) had direct exposures in Xinfadi market. About 54.08%(199/368) of cases were detected through nucleic acid testing and screening. Mild and moderate cases accounted for 99.10% (332/335) of the total cases, and no death occurred. Conclusion The COVID-19 cases in the outbreak in Xinfadi market were mainly engaged in catering service and public place service. The asymptomatic cases were younger than the symptomatic cases.Currently there is insufficient evidence to support the routine administration of nitric oxide donors in the treatment of threatened preterm labor. An understanding of the role that nitric oxide plays in the management of threatened preterm labor may lead to more effective treatment and prevention. This is why the aim of our study was to examine the involvement of exogenous nitric oxide release in regulating responses of the human pregnant myometrium to oxytocin. Biopsies of human myometrial tissue during pregnancy were obtained from 8 pregnant women, aged 21-35 years. The responses of the specimens to oxytocin in the absence and presence of a DETA/NO were recorded under isometric conditions. Preincubation with exogenous nitric oxide significantly (p less then 0.001) attenuated the contractile response of the uterine strips to oxytocin in concentrations higher than 10 -8 mol/L. The inhibition of nitric oxide synthesis alone or in combination with DETA/NO incubation did not significantly change the oxytocin contractile effect in the concentration-response curve.
