All patients reported significant improvement of NDI up to last follow-up (p = 0.011). Meanwhile, the good to excellent rate was reported in 8 of 9 patients (89%) according to the modified Macnab Criteria. The finding of this feasibility assessment indicates the ultrasound-based cannulation technique is capable of guiding the cannulation for the percutaneous laser discectomy. It may facilitate identifying the corresponding site of cervical intervertebral disc and prevent the damage of vessel. For complex dynamic interactive tasks (such as aviating), operators need to continuously extract information from areas of interest (AOIs) through eye movement to maintain high level of situation awareness (SA), as failures of SA may cause task performance degradation, even system accident. Most of the current eye movement models focus on either static tasks (such as image viewing) or simple dynamic tasks (such as video watching), without considering SA. In this study, an eye movement model with the goal of maximizing SA is proposed based on Markov decision process (MDP), which is designed to describe the dynamic eye movement of experienced operators in dynamic interactive tasks. Two top-down factors, expectancy and value, are introduced into this model to represent the update probability and the importance of information in AOIs, respectively. In particular, the model regards sequence of eye fixations to different AOIs as sequential decisions to maximize the SA-related reward (value) in the context of uncertain information update (expectancy). Further, this model was validated with a flight simulation experiment. Results show that the predicted probabilities of fixation on and shift between AOIs are highly correlated ([Formula see text] and [Formula see text], respectively) with those of the experiment data.Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory condition that can damage soft tissues and supporting teeth. Enterococcus faecalis is an opportunistic pathogen usually living in the oral cavity and plays a critical role in apical periodontitis that significantly threatens human health. The use of bacteriophages as an alternative way to eliminate bacterial infections is a promising approach. E. faecalis was isolated from the depth of dental packets of patients with periodontitis. Antimicrobial susceptibility was tested using 16 antimicrobial agents. Also, a specific virulent bacteriophage (vB_EfaS-SRH2) with an irregular pentagonal morphology of the head and a non-contractile tail belonging to the Siphoviridae, was isolated from wastewater in East of Isfahan, Iran, and its physiological and genomic specifications were investigated. The genome was double-strand DNA with 38,746 bp length and encoded 62 putative ORFs. In addition, eight Anti-CRISPERs and 30 Rho-dependent terminators were found. No tRNA was found. It had a short latent period of 15 min and a large burst size of ~ 125. No undesirable genes (antibiotic resistance, lysogenic dependence, and virulence factors) were identified in the genome. Based on physiological properties and genomic characteristics, this phage can be used as a suitable choice in phage therapy for periodontitis and root canal infection. This paper proposes a network model framework based on long and short-term memory (LSTM) and conditional random field (CRF) to promote Li-ion battery capacity prediction results. The model uses LSTM to extract temporal features from the data and CRF to build a transfer matrix to enhance temporal feature learning for long serialization prediction of lithium battery feature sequence data. The NASA PCOE lithium battery dataset is selected for the experiments, and control tests on LSTM temporal feature extraction modules, including recurrent neural network (RNN), gated recurrent unit (GRU), bi-directional gated recurrent unit (BiGRU) and bi-directional long and short term memory (BiLSTM) networks, are designed to test the adaptability of the CRF method to different temporal feature extraction modules. Compared with previous Li-ion battery capacity prediction methods, the network model framework proposed in this paper achieves better prediction results in terms of root mean square error (RMSE) and mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) metrics.High-grade gliomas remain the most common primary brain tumour with limited treatments options and early recurrence rates following adjuvant treatments. However, differentiating true tumour progression (TTP) from treatment-related effects or pseudoprogression (PsP), may critically influence subsequent management options. Structural MRI is routinely employed to evaluate treatment responses, but misdiagnosis of TTP or PsP may lead to continuation of ineffective or premature cessation of effective treatments, respectively. A systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses method. Embase, MEDLINE, Web of Science and Google Scholar were searched for methods applied to differentiate PsP and TTP, and studies were selected using pre-specified eligibility criteria. The sensitivity and specificity of included studies were summarised. Three of the identified methods were compared in a separate subgroup meta-analysis. Thirty studies assessing seven distinct neuroimaging methods in 1372 patients were included in the systematic review. The highest performing methods in the subgroup analysis were DWI (AUC = 0.93 [0.91-0.95]) and DSC-MRI (AUC = 0.93 [0.90-0.95]), compared to DCE-MRI (AUC = 0.90 [0.87-0.93]). check details 18F-fluoroethyltyrosine PET (18F-FET PET) and amide proton transfer-weighted MRI (APTw-MRI) also showed high diagnostic accuracy, but results were based on few low-powered studies. Both DWI and DSC-MRI performed with high sensitivity and specificity for differentiating PsP from TTP. Considering the technical parameters and feasibility of each identified method, the authors suggested that, at present, DSC-MRI technique holds the most clinical potential. Many countries have secured larger quantities of COVID-19 vaccines than their population is willing to take. The abundance and the large variety of vaccines created not only an unprecedented intensity of vaccine related public discourse, but also a historical moment to understand vaccine hesitancy better. Yet, the heterogeneity of hesitancy by vaccine types has been neglected in the existing literature so far. We address this problem by analysing the acceptance and the assessment of five vaccine types. We use information collected with a nationally representative survey at the end of the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in Hungary. During the vaccination campaign, individuals could reject the assigned vaccine to wait for a more preferred alternative that enables us to quantify revealed preferences across vaccine types. We find that hesitancy is heterogenous by vaccine types and is driven by individuals' trusted source of information. Believers of conspiracy theories are more likely to evaluate the mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) unacceptable. Those who follow the advice of politicians are more likely to evaluate vector-based (AstraZeneca and Sputnik) or whole-virus vaccines (Sinopharm) acceptable. We argue that the greater selection of available vaccine types and the free choice of the individual are desirable conditions to increase the vaccination rate in societies. The study aims to determine the selected miRNAs expression in milk somatic cells (MSC) and blood leukocytes (BL) of SRLV-seronegative (SRLV-SN) and SRLV-seropositive (SRLV-SP) goats. A functional in silico analysis of their target genes was also conducted. MiR-93-5p and miR-30e-5p were expressed only in BL, while miR-144 was expressed only in MSC, regardless of SRLV infection. In the SRLV-SP goats, higher miR-214-3p and miR-221-5p levels were found in the MSC than in the BL. Only miR-30e-5p was influenced by the lactation stage in BL in both groups, while only miR-93-5p was altered in BL of SRLV-SN goats. The target gene protein products exhibited contradictory functions, protecting the host from virus on the one hand and assisting viruses in their life cycle on the other. The differential expression of the miRNAs observed between the MSC and BL of SRLV-SP goats may suggest that the local immune response to the infection in the udder differs from the systemic response, and acts independently. Some miRNAs demonstrated different expression between lactation stages. It may be influenced by the metabolic burden occurring in early lactation and its peak. Some of the studied miRNAs may influence viral infection by regulating the expression of their target genes.Bee venom (B.V.) is a toxin produced naturally by honey bees with several toxic and therapeutic efficacies. It is used in the treatment of different cancer kinds like renal, hepatic, and prostate cancer. Due to its protein nature, it is degraded in the upper gastrointestinal tract. Colon-targeted drug delivery systems represent a useful tool to protect B.V. from degradation and can be administered orally instead of I.V. infusion and traditional bee stinging. In the present study, B.V. loaded enteric-coated cross-linked microspheres were prepared by emulsion cross-linking method. Percentage yield, entrapment efficiency %, swelling degree, and in-vitro release are evaluated for prepared microspheres. Free B.V., optimized microspheres formula (F3), and doxorubicin cytotoxic effects were tested by MTT assay. Results concluded that free B.V. was more effective against the growth of human prostate adenocarcinoma (PC3) cells followed by optimized microspheres than doxorubicin. But both free B.V. and doxorubicin have a cytotoxic effect on normal oral epithelial cells (OEC). According to flow cytometric analysis, the optimized microsphere formula induced apoptosis and reduced necrosis percent at IC50 concentration. Furthermore, microspheres did not affect the viability of OEC. These results revealed that microspheres have a degree of specificity for malignant cells. Therefore, it seems that this targeted formulation could be a good candidate for future clinical trials for cancer therapy.Inline holography in the transmission electron microscope is a versatile technique which provides real-space phase information that can be used for the correction of imaging aberrations, as well as for measuring electric and magnetic fields and strain distributions. It is able to recover high-spatial-frequency contributions of the phase effectively but suffers from the weak transfer of low-spatial-frequency information, as well as from incoherent scattering. Here, we combine gradient flipping and phase prediction in an iterative flux-preserving focal series reconstruction algorithm with incoherent background subtraction that gives extensive access to the missing low spatial frequencies. A procedure for optimizing the reconstruction parameters is presented, and results from Fe-filled C nanospheres, and MgO cubes are compared with phase images obtained using off-axis holography. To investigate the effect of Gamma radiation on the reproductive systems of emerged female and male of Ephestia cautella (Walker) moths, mature pupae of both sexes were irradiated with doses of 50, 100 and 150 Gy. Histological study of the treated individuals showed in females that the ovaries appear sever damage in the follicular epithelium at all doses, which become thinness and separated from developing oocytes, moreover, some of the nurse cells were rupture. In males which treated with 150 Gy, it was noticed retardation in the stages of spermatogenesis and few numbers of sperm bundles and their dispersion in the testicular follicles' adults, on the other hand, the doses of 50 and 100 Gy showed little or moderate effects on the structure of the testis contents.
