4%) was significantly associated with the occurrence of RH, even after adjusting for variables associated with RH in univariate logistic regression analysis (age and body mass index) as well as the average daily calorie intake (odds ratio, 5.37; 95% confidence interval, 1.60-18.1; p = .0066).

We identified that diets with higher carbohydrate contents were associated with RH in inpatients with AN, even after adjusting for known risk factors. Our findings may promote the development of dietary preventive strategies against RH in inpatients with AN.

The purpose of this study was to identify the research trends in the field of male infertility and ART over the past 20 years (2000-2019) by analysing scientometric data (the number of publications per year, authors, author affiliations, journals, countries, type of documents, subject area and number of citations) retrieved using the Scopus database. We used VOS viewer software to generate a network map on international collaborations as well as a heat map of the top scientists in this field. Our results revealed a total of 2,148 publications during this period with Cleveland Clinic Foundation contributing the most (n = 69). The current scientometric analysis showed that the research trend on ART has been stable over the past two decades. Further in-depth analysis revealed that density gradient centrifugation (46%) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (59.2%) are the most reported techniques for sperm separation and ART, respectively. Additionally, azoospermia was the most studied clinical scenario (60.6%), with majority of articles reporting pregnancy rate (47.25%) as the primary reproductive outcome for ART. This study provides insight into the current focus of research in the area of male infertility and ART as well as the areas that require further research in future.

Written composition requires handwriting, spelling, and text planning skills, all largely learned through school instruction. Students' rate of learning to compose text in their first months at school will depend, in part, on their literacy-related abilities at school start. Pralsetinib These effects have not previously been explored.

We aimed to establish the effects of various literacy-related abilities on the learning trajectory of first-grade students as they are taught to write.

179 Spanish first-grade students (94 female, mean age 6.1years) writing 3,512 texts.

Students were assessed at start of school for spelling, transcription fluency, letter knowledge, phonological awareness, handwriting accuracy, word reading, and non-verbal reasoning. They were then taught under a curriculum that included researcher-designed instruction in handwriting, spelling, and ideation. Students' composition performance was probed at very regular intervals over their first 13weeks at school.

Controlling for age, overall performance was predicted by spelling, transcription fluency, handwriting accuracy, word reading, and non-verbal reasoning. Most students showed rapid initial improvement, but then much slower learning. Weak spellers (and to a lesser extent less fluent hand-writers) showed weaker initial performance, but then steady improvement across the study period.

Therefore, we studied 2347 patients aged ≥85 years from the Danish and Swedish lymphoma registers 2000-2016 (Denmark) and 2007-2013 (Sweden). Outcome was assessed using relative survival (RS). The 2-year RS overall for patients with aggressive lymphomas was 38% [95% confidence interval (CI) 35-42%], of whom 845 (66%) patients received active treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, other). For aggressive lymphomas, not receiving active treatment was associated with an inferior 2-year RS of 12% (95% CI 9-17%) compared to 49% (95% CI 45-53%) for patients who received active treatment (excess mortality rate ratio 2·84, 95% CI 2·3-3·5; P less then 0·0001). For patients with indolent lymphoma, the 2-year RS was 77% (95% CI 72-82%). Here, 383 (46%) patients received active treatment at diagnosis, but did not have better 2-year RS (75%, 95% CI 67-81%) compared to those who did not receive active treatment (83%, 95% CI 74-89%). We conclude that outcomes for the oldest old patients with lymphoma are encouraging for several subtypes and that active treatment is associated with improved outcome amongst the oldest old patients with aggressive lymphomas, indicating that age itself should not be a contraindication to treatment. On May 4, 2020, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hosted an online public workshop titled "FY 2020 Generic Drug Regulatory Science Initiatives Public Workshop" to provide an overview of the status of the science and research priorities and to solicit input on the development of Generic Drug User Fee Amendments fiscal year 2021 priorities. This report summarizes the podium presentations and the outcome of discussions along with innovative ways to overcome challenges and significant opportunities related to model-based approaches in bioequivalence assessment for breakout session 4 titled, "Data analysis and model-based bioequivalence (BE)." This session focused on the application of model-based approaches in the generic drug development, with a vision of accelerating regulatory decision making for abbreviated new drug application assessments. The session included both podium presentations and panel discussions with three topics of interest (i) in vitro study evaluation methods and their clinical relevance, (ii) challenges in model-based BE, (iii) emerging expertise and tools in implementing new BE approaches.
