While B-mode, with its intrinsic limitations, is still considered the primary ultrasound modality, intra-operative contrast-enhanced ultrasound (ioCEUS) has more recently emerged as a powerful tool in neurosurgery. Though still not used on a large scale, ioCEUS has proven its utility in defining tumor boundaries, identifying lesion vascular supply and mapping neurovascular architecture. Here we propose a step-by-step procedure for performing ioCEUS analysis of the brain, highlighting its neurosurgical applications. Moreover, we provide practical advice on the use of ultrasound contrast agents and review technical ultrasound parameters influencing ioCEUS imaging.Ultrasound localization microscopy can image microvasculature in vivo without sacrificing imaging penetration depth. However, the reliance on super-resolution inference limits the applicability of the technique because subpixel tissue motion can corrupt microvascular reconstruction. Consequently, the majority of previous pre-clinical research on this super-resolution procedure has been restricted to low-motion experimental models with ample motion correction or data rejection, which precludes the imaging of organ sites that exhibit a high degree of respiratory and other motion. In this article, we present a novel anesthesia protocol in rabbits that induces safe, controllable periods of apnea to enable the long image-acquisition times required for ultrasound localization microscopy. We apply this protocol to a VX2 liver tumor model undergoing sorafenib therapy and compare the results to super-resolution images from conventional high-dose isoflurane anesthesia. We find that the apneic protocol was necessary to correctly identify the poorly vascularized tumor cores, as verified by immunohistochemistry, and to reveal the tumoral microvascular architecture.
Strengthening the resilience of adolescents is central to promoting long-term mental health outcomes, but resilience is a widely used term, often applied in different ways. We explored how resilience is understood in the adolescent mental health literature and developed a framework that synthesizes the core characteristics of different resilience concepts.
Systematic searches of electronic databases, hand searches of reference lists and known work on resilience, and multidisciplinary team discussions were employed, and articles with explicit conceptualizations of resilience in adolescent mental health literature were included. After screening 9,562 articles, 105 articles were retained, analyzed and used to refine a framework.
Three dimensions capture the various concepts of resilience, each with two end points (1) resilience as withstanding adversity without any distress versus overcoming the distress resulting from adversity; (2) resilience as an existing trait versus as a process over time; and (3) resilience of individuals versus resilience of groups.
Concepts of resilience in adolescence can be clearly categorized within three distinct dimensions. TMZ chemical order Referring to this framework may help to clarify and compare different concepts of resilience of adolescents in mental health research as well as at a policy level and in clinical contexts.

We aimed at identifying and analyzing the accuracy of YouTube videos on colostomy and ileostomy.
YouTube website was searched independently by researchers for videos on colostomy and ileostomy posted before the 18th of May, 2019. Based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, the videos matching the research objective were identified. Data related to each video were collected, and the videos were categorized using standardized criteria.
A total of 357 videos were identified. Finally, 149 videos were included in the study. Of these, 52 (35%) were educationally useful, and 97 (65%) were not useful. None of the video parameters, including the number of viewers, duration, number of likes or dislikes, days on YouTube or number of comments, was able to differentiate between useful or not useful videos. The score of videos was 14.7±0.6 for valuable videos and 11.0±2.0 for not useful videos (p<0.001).
While there were a reasonably number of colostomy and ileostomy videos, there was a smaller number on the surgical procedure. Most non-educational videos were not consistent with clinical guidelines.
YouTube videos on colostomy/ileostomy care can be an important educational resource to patients. However, a collaboration between patients, nurse educators and universities/hospitals is needed to produce high-quality videos.

People with intellectual disabilities (ID) are largely dependent on their environment to live healthily and, in this, ID-support organizations play a vital role. An environmental asset mapping tool for ID-support settings has been developed. This study aims to provide insight into whether or not the tool can provide a comprehensive view on assets in the system and actionable knowledge to improve health-promoting capacities in ID-support settings.
Fifty-seven users from four setting completed the tool on availability, user satisfaction, and dreams regarding social, physical, organizational, and financial assets.
The findings provide a comprehensive view of available assets. Together with user satisfaction and dreams for improvements, they provide actionable knowledge for improving the health-promoting capacities of the settings, including (1) how use of available assets can be improved, (2) the type of assets that should be enriched, and (3) the assets that can be added to the system.
