Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great opportunity to earn equipment weapons, equipment and more. But they're also hard to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a specific slot that allows you to bring pistols in to the course of. Some players utilize this slot to aid in achieving certain goals particularly those who are going for Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to fill in the gap. When you use this slot, it is important to remember that you will need to click on the corresponding pistol category button, for instance the slot 2 alternative for machine guns, in order to select them. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it easier to do. This combo also gives you an attack tick from the concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as you have it in the slot.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled items slot is an excellent feature that allows players to bring in weapons and tools, but it could benefit from a more streamlined option. It's currently designed to resemble the shape of a pistol, making it difficult to distinguish the weapon slot smuggled by smugglers from other gear slots.

The smuggle slot is able to hold an array of objects, ranging from simple concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items are covertly stashed in inconspicuous places around the map and are able to be retrieved at any time. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.

Mission planning is an option in the form of episodic missions. It lets players discover different starting points, smuggled objects, and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. These planning options increase as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to prepare the ideal mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

The slots for gear will quickly get full early in the game, leading to the common message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message stops Max to select new equipment until the old items are taken away or space has been obtained. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for completing challenging missions. However, because many of these challenges are scattered around the world and can be overlooked, it may take an extended time to obtain the maximum number of inventory slots in the game.

The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear, which must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. slot tournaments (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same type) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agents can pick up the passengers.

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store an item that does not fit in your slot for gear or weapon and then retrieve it later.





These pickups can be very useful if your mission requires you to pass through a frisk or you have a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. But, you are only able to hide one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and purchase snacks and armor. Then, walk to the stated mission marker and locate a mob at the time of arrival.
