Recovery focuses on the broader concept of having a good life with mental health problems than remission. This review aims to deliver up-to-date information on the concept of recovery in borderline personality disorder. A computerized database search was conducted in PubMed and Web of Science sites, using various combinations of keywords for the period between January 1990 and April 2020. According to current findings, a full remission or complete disappearance of symptoms of a borderline personality disorder usually does not occur soon after the initiation of treatment, but recovery is an achievable goal. A precondition for recovery is the patient's responsibility for their health. Apart from psychotherapy and psychosocial rehabilitation, pharmacotherapy can help individuals with BPD improve their quality of life and can provide significant aid on their path to recovery.

The squat exercise is one of the most exhaustive ones in which different resistance training methods can elicit various changes in the concentration of many metabolites circulating in the blood. Therefore, this study aims toassess the differences between slow (5/0/3/0) and conventional (2/0/2/0) barbell squat movement tempo to concentric failure on acute metabolites and hormonal responses.

Ten experienced powerlifters (24.3 ± 3.2 y; 77.9 ± 7.2 kg; 141 ± 17.5 kg Squat 1RM) who compete at the national and international level performed five sets of the barbell squat exercise (SQ) to failure at load 80% 1RM with two different tempos of movement a 2/0/2/0 medium tempo (MED) and a 5/0/3/0 slow tempo (SLO) randomly one week apart. Venous blood samples (10ml) were collected from the antecubital vein, to determine acute pre and post-exercise values of testosterone (T), growth hormone (GH), insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-1), cortisol (C), creatine kinase (CK), and lactate acid (LA).

The SLO protocol resulted idemonstrated that in terms of endocrine response, the optimal moderate exercise tempo results in a high endocrine response, which is not dramatically increased by a longer time under tension resulting from slow exercise execution. On the other hand, slow speed resulted in a prolonged time under tension, more muscle damage, and lactate production; which may play a large role in stimulating muscle growth and tissue regeneration.

Neuroendocrine cancer is an extremely rare malignant tumor that originates from the nervous and the endocrine systems. This type of cancer can exist in almost any organ, although it is mainly found in the lung and gastrointestinal system according to current clinical reports. Ipilimumab concentration It is rarely found in the skull base, including primary and secondary neuroendocrine cancers. Therefore, diagnosis and treatment face a huge challenge.

A 50-year-old female patient was introduced. She was admitted to the hospital due to persistent headaches, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and decreased vision. Her case was primarily considered as a skull base malignant tumor based on clinical manifestations, imaging, and hormonal examinations. The patient then subsequently underwent neuroendoscopic surgery toremove the skull base tumor and repair cerebrospinal fluid leakage repair. The patient suffered from complications such as ghosting of the right eye after surgery, and she was given vitamin B1 orally. Pathological examination results show that the patient had neuroendocrine cancer (originated from sinus). We followed up the patient 2 months and 6 months after operation. At present, the patient recovered well, had no headache, and her spirit was significantly better than that before operation.

Cranial neuroendocrine cancer has diverse clinical manifestations. CgA, Syn, Ki-67, CD56, and ACTH are important reference indicators for the diagnosis of neuroendocrine cancer. Neuroendoscopic transsphenoidal approach is a safe and effective surgical method.

The clinical hallmarks of GATA2 deficiency include monocytopenia, cellular immunodeficiency with a resultant marked susceptibility to infections (mycobacterial, fungal, and viral), predisposition to myelodysplasia, alveolar proteinosis of the lungs and congenital lymphoedema. These features overlap with other genetic and acquired syndromes. It is therefore important to establish a genetic diagnosis early. The only known curative treatment is hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and is integral to the appropriate management of these patients.Coffin-Siris syndrome (OMIM #135900) is an autosomal dominant inherited disorder, characterized by dysmorphic features, congenital anomalies, and developmental delay. We report the clinical and molecular findings in a patient with Coffin-Siris syndrome. A 3-year-and-6-month-old boy presented with developmental delay, distinctive facial features, hypertrichosis, partial agenesis of the corpus callosum, fifth digit nail hypoplasia, congenital anomalies, and growth retardation. Targeted gene panel sequencing identified a novel heterozygous frameshift mutation c.2147_2148insAC in ARID1B which was predicted as a premature stop codon p. (Gln717Argfs*29). This is the second report of Coffin-Siris syndrome in Korea. Targeted gene panel sequencing can be used as an effective tool for the diagnosis of rare complex syndromes such as Coffin-Siris syndrome.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the anti-arthritic potentials of the inhibition of Src kinase in vivo and in vitro settings.

Arthritis was induced by intradermal injection of chicken type II collagen combined with incomplete Freund?s adjuvant (collagen induced arthritis [CIA] model) in Wistar albino rats. One day after the onset of arthritis, dasatinib, a potent Src kinase inhibitor, (5 mg/kg/day) was given via oral gavage. Tissue Src, Fyn, MAPK and STAT mRNA expressions were determined by real-time polymerase chain reaction. On the other hand, fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLSs) were harvested patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) undergoing surgical knee joint replacement. FLSs were stimulated with cytokines and dasatinib was added in different concentrations. MMP-1, -3 and -13 levels in FLSs culture were determined by ELISA.

The tissue mRNA expressions of Src, Fyn, MAPK and STATs were increased in the arthritis CIA group compared to the control group. Their mRNA expressions in the CIA + Dasatinib group were decreased and similar in the control group.
