The secondary outcome measures in this trial included Olerud and Molander Ankle Score, radiographic outcomes, and complications. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version. P values < .05 were considered statistically significant.

We hypothesized that MIPO would be associated with better functional outcomes and fewer complications.

Neck pain, sensory disturbance and motor dysfunction in most patients suffered cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM). However, some conservative treatments are limited by their modest effectiveness. In the other hand, surgical treatment is necessary when symptoms are refractory to conservative treatments and neurological function of the patients has deteriorated. Many patients use complementary and alternative medicine, including traditional Chinese medicine, to address their symptoms. The purpose of the present study is to examine effectiveness and safety of Yiqi-Huayu-Tongsui (YQHYTS) granule, a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine, on symptoms in patients with mild or moderate CSM.

A randomized, double blinded, placebo-controlled clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of YQHYTS granule is proposed. 72 patients in Longhua Hospital with the diagnosis of mild or moderate CSM will be randomly allocated into 2 groups, and treated with YQHYTS granule or placebo. Gastric cancer is a common gastrointestinal tumor, seriously threatening human health. Radical surgery is the preferred treatment for gastric cancer. However, due to the late diagnosis and postoperative recurrence and metastasis, the prognosis is dismal. In China, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been used to treat gastric cancer for many years. The purpose of this study is to explore the efficacy and safety of Yiqi Huayu Jiedu decoction in the treatment of postoperative gastric caner.

226 eligibility patients altogether will be randomly allocated to the treatment group and the control group at a ratio of 11. After enrollment, every patients will obtain 6 months of treatment, as well as 2 years of follow-up. At the end of this study, primary outcomes including 1-year progression-free survival rate, 2-year progression-free survival rate and disease-free survival, secondary outcomes containing tumor markers, TCM syndrome points, quality of life scale, imageological examination and the safety indicators will be assessed.

This study will provide the evidence-based evidence for the efficacy of Yiqi Huayu Jiedu decoction reducing the risk of postoperative gastric cancer recurrence and metastasis, which will be beneficial to form the therapeutic regimen in postoperative gastric cancer with integrated TCM and Western medicine.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an immune-mediated demyelinating disease of the central nervous system (CNS). Recently, numerous studies have shown that MS disrupts a number of social cognitive abilities, including empathy, theory of mind (ToM), and facial emotion recognition. In contrast to well-documented deficits in the core social cognitive domains of ToM and facial emotion recognition, it is not clear the broad and specific subcomponents of empathy processing affected. In addition, the specific subcomponents of ToM affected in MS are also unclear. The aim of this study is to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to characterize the performance of empathy and ToM in MS.

A systematic literature search will be performed for eligible studies published up to July 1st, 2020 in 3 international databases (PubMed, Web of Science, and Embase). The work such as article retrieval, screen, quality evaluation, data collection will be conducted by 2 independent researchers. Meta-analysis will be performed using Stata 15.0 software.

The results of this study will be published in a peer-reviewed journal.

This meta-analysis will provide a high-quality synthesis from existing evidence for the performance of empathy and ToM in MS.

Postpartum urinary incontinence (PPUI) is a common urological condition in women after childbirth. Due to the side effects of surgical and pharmacological therapies, the patients and physicians alike express a strong preference for conservative approaches on PPUI, such as pelvic floor muscle training, biofeedback, electrical stimulation, bladder training, vaginal cones and acupuncture. Application of these conservative approaches should be guided by high quality evidence, yet their comparative effectiveness has not been well documented. Therefore, the network meta-analysis aims to compare, rank and summarize all available studies to determine which conservative intervention is more effective for PPUI.

In this present study, qualified English and Chinese studies will be searched in PubMed, Scopus, EMBASE, The Cochrane Library, Web of Science, VIP Database, Wanfang Database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database and China National Knowledge Infrastructure. All eligible randomized controlled trails (RCTs) of conservative interventions for PPUI will be included. R software 3.61 (R Foundation for Statistical Computing, Vienna, Austria) will be applied to synthesize data and conduct network meta-analysis. I statistic and Z test will be used to assess heterogeneity and inconsistency, respectively.

Ethical approval is not required for this existed literature based meta-analysis. selleck The findings of this research will be disseminated through a recognized journal.

The findings of this study will provide ranking evidence for clinicians and patients to choose a more appropriate conservative therapy on PPUI.

The incidence of male infertility is increasing worldwide, and has become an important problem that plagues many married couples. Half of the infertility cases have induced by male infertility. Wuzi Yanzong Pill is a traditional Chinese herbal formula used in treating spermatorrhea, premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, lumbago and male sterility widely. Therefore, in this systematic review, we design to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Wuzi-Yanzong Pill for the treatment of male infertility.

The English and Chinese literature published before June 30, 2020 will be searched in PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane library, and Chinese literature in China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Chinese biomedical document service system, VIP Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database, WANFANG data. All related randomized controlled trials that meet the eligibility criteria will be included and other studies will be excluded. We will search literature with text keywords "male infertility" or "sperm" or "semen" and "Wuzi Yanzong Pill" or "Wuziyangzong" or "WZYZ".
