An evidence base was developed to facilitate adoption of hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) in tropical environments (Wimalasiri et al. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/ABT-737.html (2021)). Agro-ecological requirements data of hemp were acquired from international databases and was contrasted against local climate and soil conditions using an augmented species ecological niche modeling. The outputs were then used to map the suitability for all locations for 12 possible calendar-year seasons within peninsular Malaysia. The most probable seasonal map was then used to generate a land suitability map for agricultural areas across 5 standard land suitability categories. Having developed the general suitability maps of hemp in Malaysia, detailed crop growth data were collected from literature and was then used to simulate an ideotype crop model (for both seed and fiber) for selected locations across Malaysia, where detailed daily climate data and soil information were available. Following the development of a downscaled future climate dataset, a simulated dataset of yield for the future conditions were also developed. Next, the simulated seed and fiber yield data were used to create yield maps for hemp across peninsular Malaysia. An economic value and cost-benefit analyses were also carried out using data that were collected from literature and local sources to simulate the true cost and benefit of growing hemp both for now and future conditions. This data provides the first ever evidence base for an underutilized crop in Southeast Asia. All data that was generated using the proposed published framework for the adoption of hemp in the future are stored in their original format in an online repository and is described in this article. The data can be used to map the suitability at finer scales, analyze and re-calibrate a yield model using any climate scenario and evaluate the economics of production using the standard methodology described in the above-mentioned publication.Trees are natural objects, where deviations through the branches amplify geometric data for 3D representation and bring challenges to various applications dealing with 3D models, such as compression, visualization, symmetry detection, and radiative transfer simulation. This data article describes dataset of approximately symmetric 3D tree models with manually identified predominant symmetry plane in each tree model. Parameters for procedural tree synthesis were manually adjusted to produce approximately bilaterally symmetric trees which are grouped into species with distinct features. In the last step, each tree was manually annotated with approximate symmetry plane. This dataset contains geometric data of branches, manually defined parameters for tree synthesis method, point clouds, and a division plane with a score of bilateral symmetry strength. The generated trees can be used as benchmark data for verification of approximate reflectional symmetry detection methods. In previous experiments in our laboratory with proteomic analysis of renal parenchyma of SHR hypertensive animals, we identified two molecules, namely SGLT2 and CLIC4, associated with the development of hypertension. Here, we apply the methodology of targeted proteomic analysis in kidney biopsies from patients with hypertensive nephropathy to study the role of SGLT2 and CLIC4 in the pathogenesis of the disease. Relative quantification data of SGLT2 and CLIC4 via means of targeted proteomic analysis in human kidney biopsies from hypertensive patients and normotensive controls are reported. This paper presents a study of an SEIRV epidemic model with optimal control in the context of the Caputo fractional derivative of order 0 less then ν ≤ 1 . The stability analysis of the model is performed. We also present an optimum control scheme for an SEIRV model. The real time data for India COVID-19 cases have been used to determine the parameters of the fractional order SEIRV model. The Adam-Bashforth-Moulton predictor-corrector method is implemented to solve the SEIRV model numerically. For analyzing COVID-19 transmission dynamics, the fractional order of the SEIRV model is found to be better than the integral order. Graphical demonstration and numerical simulations are presented using MATLAB (2018a) software.The relationship between maternal symptoms and problematic infant feeding in the context of tongue-tie is unknown. In a sample of infants with tongue-tie undergoing frenotomy and their mothers, the aims of this study were to (1) describe changes in maternal symptoms pre- and post-frenotomy, and (2) evaluate the relationships between maternal symptoms and symptoms of problematic feeding pre- and post-frenotomy. Mother-infant dyads were recruited from 1 pediatric dental office between July and November 2020. The sample included 102 mother-infant dyads; 84 completed the follow-up survey. Maternal symptoms of painful and difficult latch, creased/cracked nipples, bleeding, or abraded nipples, chewing of the nipple, and feelings of depression were significantly less common after tongue-tie revision. Poor latch onto the breast was associated with feeding difficulties at both time points. Frenotomy resulted in a decrease of symptoms in breastfeeding mothers. Maternal symptoms and feeding problems persisting post-frenotomy warrant further evaluation.Throughout the pandemic, public health and long-term care professionals in our urban California county have linked local and state COVID-19 data and performed observational exploratory analyses of the impacts among our diverse long-term care facilities (LTCFs). Case counts from LTCFs through March 2021 included 4309 (65%) in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), 1667 (25%) in residential care facilities for the elderly (RCFEs), and 273 (4%) in continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). These cases led to 582 COVID-19 resident deaths and 12 staff deaths based on death certificates. Data on decedents' age, race, education, and country of birth reflected a hierarchy of wealth and socioeconomic status from CCRCs to RCFEs to SNFs. Mortality rates within SNFs were higher for non-Whites than Whites. Staff accounted for 42% of LTCF-associated COVID-19 cases, and over 75% of these staff were unlicensed. For all COVID-19 deaths in our jurisdiction, both LTCF and community, 82% of decedents were age 65 or over. Taking a comprehensive, population-based approach across our heterogenous LTCF landscape, we found socioeconomic disparities within COVID-19 cases and deaths of residents and staff.
