Existing studies rarely examine the relationship between network structure and network performance. To fill this research gap, this article collects inter-local collaboration network data from 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region of China from 2009 to 2015. Based on the institutional collective action framework and social capital theory, we propose bridging and bonding hypotheses regarding the impact of network structures on governance performance. We employ social network analysis and panel data regression models to test the hypotheses. The results show that the coefficients for closeness centrality and clustering coefficient are statistically significant in this analysis, Wuxi played a central role in the collaboration network and the region had formed a close partner network, confirming the positive effect of bridging and bonding network social capital structures on network performance.Management of patients with bone sarcoma who are unsuitable for surgery is challenging. We aimed to analyze the clinical outcomes among such patients who were treated with carbon ion radiotherapy (C-ion RT). We reviewed the medical records of the patients treated with C-ion RT between April 2011 and February 2019 and analyzed the data of 53 patients. Toxicities were classified using the National Cancer Institute's Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (Version 4.0). The median follow-up duration for all patients was 36.9 months. Histologically, 32 patients had chordoma, 9 had chondrosarcoma, 8 had osteosarcoma, 3 had undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma, and 1 had sclerosing epithelioid fibrosarcoma. The estimated 3-year overall survival (OS), local control (LC), and progression-free survival (PFS) rates were 79.7%, 88.6%, and 68.9%, respectively. No patients developed grade 3 or higher acute toxicities. Three patients developed both grade 3 radiation dermatitis and osteomyelitis, one developed both grade 3 radiation dermatitis and soft tissue infection, and one developed rectum-sacrum-cutaneous fistula. C-ion RT showed favorable clinical outcomes in terms of OS, LC, and PFS and low rates of toxicity in bone sarcoma patients. These results suggest a potential role for C-ion RT in the management of this population. This review aims to pin out the importance of developing a technique for rapid detection of antioxidants, based on molecular imprinting techniques. It covers three major areas that have made great progress over the years in the field of research, namely antioxidants characterization, molecular imprinting and electrochemistry, alone or combined. It also reveals the importance of bringing these three areas together for a good evaluation of antioxidants in a simple or complex medium, based on selectivity and specificity. Although numerous studies have associated antioxidants with molecular imprinting, or antioxidants with electrochemistry, but even electrochemistry with molecular imprinting to valorize different compounds, the growing prominence of antioxidants in the food, medical, and paramedical sectors deserves to combine the three areas, which may lead to innovative industrial applications with satisfactory results for both manufacturers and consumers. The lung is the most frequent site of osteosarcoma (OS) metastases, which are a critical point in defining a patient's prognosis. Chest computed tomography (CT) represents the gold standard for the detection of lung metastases even if its sensitivity widely ranges in the literature since lung localizations are often atypical. ESMO guidelines represent one of the major references for the follow-up program of OS patients. The development of new reconstruction techniques, such as the iterative method and the deep learning-based image reconstruction (DLIR), has led to a significant reduction of the radiation dose with the low-dose CT. The improvement of these techniques has great importance considering the young-onset of the disease and the strict chest surveillance during follow-up programs. The use of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography (PET)/CT is still controversial, while volume doubling time (VDT) and computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) systems are recent diagnostic tools that could support radiologists for lung nodules evaluation. Their use, well-established for other malignancies, needs to be further evaluated, focusing on OS patients. This paper proposes an automated microfluidic system for molecular diagnostics that integrates the functions of a traditional polymerase chain reaction (PCR) laboratory into a palm-sized microfluidic cartridge (CARD) made of polystyrene. The CARD integrates 4 independent microfluidic sample lanes, which can independently complete a sample test, and each sample lane integrates the 3 functional areas of the sample preparation area, PCR amplification area, and product analysis area. By using chemical cell lysis, magnetic silica bead-based DNA extraction, combined with multi-PCR-reverse dot hybridization with microarray, 24 HPV genotypes can be typing tested in CARD. With a custom-made automated CARD operating platform, the entire process can be automatically carried out, achieving sample-in-answer-out. The custom-made operation platform is developed based on a liquid handling station-type, which can automatically load off-chip reagents without placing reagents in CARD in advance. The platform can control six CARDs to work simultaneously, detect 24 samples at a time. The results show that the limit of detection of the microfluidic system is 200 copies/test, and the positive detection rate of clinical samples by this system is 100%, which is an effective method for detection of HPV.

Smoking was among the top contributors to deaths and disability as the prevalence among male adults remains high, and that among male youth increases in Indonesia. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/oxidopamine-hydrobromide.html While local studies have shown high visibility of outdoor tobacco advertising around schools, the country still has no outdoor tobacco advertising ban.

To examine the association between youth smoking behavior and measures of outdoor tobacco advertising density and proximity in Indonesia.

We combined two primary data sources, including outdoor tobacco advertising and smoking behavior among male youth in Semarang city. We randomly selected and interviewed 400 male students at 20 high schools in the city. In addition, we interviewed 492 male adults who lived near the schools for comparison.

We found significant associations between smoking use among youth (but not among adults) and measures of outdoor tobacco advertising density and proximity in Semarang city. Youth at schools with medium and high density of outdoor tobacco advertising were up to 2.
