Charged magnetic domain walls have been visualized in soft magnetic nanostructured Fe thin films under both static and dynamic conditions. A transition in the core of these zigzagged magnetic walls from Néel-type to Bloch-type through the formation of crosstie walls has been observed. This transition in charged zigzagged walls was not previously shown experimentally in Fe thin films. For film thicknesses t 60 nm, Bloch-type cores are observed. Along with the visualization of these critical parameters, the dependence on the film thickness of the characteristic angle and length of the segments of the zigzagged walls has been observed and analyzed. After measuring the bistable magneto-optical behavior, the values of the wall nucleation magnetic field and the surface roughness of the films, an energetic fit to these nucleation values is presented.Oxytropis glabra (OG) is a leguminous forage that is potentially valuable for solving the shortage of feed for livestock production, while, in large quantities, it may be toxic because of its swainsonine (SW) content. In this study, OG was ensiled with whole-plant corn (Zea mays L.) at 100, 91, 82, 73, 64, 55, 46, and 010 ratios on a fresh matter basis, and, after 60 d of ensiling, the chemical composition, fermentation characteristic, SW removal rate, lactic acid bacteria (LAB) populations, and their capabilities for SW removal were analyzed. As the proportion of corn in the silage increased, the pH, as well as the propionic acid, ammonia-N, dry matter, crude protein, and SW contents, decreased linearly, while the lactic acid, neutral detergent fiber, and residual water-soluble carbohydrate contents increased linearly. Lactobacillus plantarum was the most common microorganism present in all mixture silages. Lactobacillus amylovorus and Lactobacillusbrevis were prevalent at lower ratios of corn to OG. Meanwhile, the LAB strains belong to L. amylovorus and L. plantarum had a higher SW removal rate. Our results suggested that ensiling OG with whole-plant corn improves fermentation and decreases SW content, and that 55 is the optimal ratio, so this type of mixed silage could make OG useable for ruminant production. The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the willingness, anxiety and concerns of Italian people on undergoing dental appointments. An anonymous survey was posted online on social media on 11 May 2020 and was completed by 1003 respondents in one week. find more Multiple correspondence analysis and multiple logistic regression were used to evaluate the association between socio-demographic characteristics, dental care access, contagion fear of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), trust in dentists regarding sanitization procedures and perception of the impact of the risk of contagion on dental care. Subjects with a high level of education, attending public dental offices and that are used to go to dental offices for urgent care would not feel comfortable in undergoing a dental appointment and would prefer to postpone or cancel dental visits, waiting for a decrease in the number of the contagions. Moreover, the risk of canceling or postponing the appointment at the dentist was 1.59 times greater in those who claimed to be strongly influenced by SARS-CoV-2. Fear of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), new cases decrease and the not urgent nature of dental visits influenced more than the lowered income household on upcoming or resuming dental appointments. In the next months, despite the forecasted economic crisis caused by coronavirus pandemic, fear and anxiety generated by the spread of the virus will impact more than the lowered familiar income with regards to access to dental care.We propose and demonstrate a temperature and humidity sensor based on a fluorinated polyimide film and fiber Bragg grating. Moisture-induced film expansion or contraction causes an extra strain, which is transferred to the fiber Bragg grating and leads to a humidity-dependent wavelength shift. The hydrophobic fluoride doping in the polyimide film helps to restrain its humidity hysteresis and provides a short moisture breathing time less than 2 min. Additionally, another cascaded fiber Bragg grating is used to exclude its thermal crosstalk, with a temperature accuracy of ±0.5 °C. Experimental monitoring over 9000 min revealed a considerable humidity accuracy better than ±3% relative humidity, due to the sensitized separate film-grating structure. The passive and electromagnetic immune sensor proved itself in field tests and could have sensing applications in the electro-sensitive storage of fuel, explosives, and chemicals. It is crucial to actively encourage the development of agriculture green technology, which has been regarded as one of the most effective solutions to the environmental degradation caused by agricultural activities. However, agriculture green technology diffusion is indeed a challenging task and still faces numerous barriers. The stakeholders who can potentially deal with these barriers, however, have been overlooked by previous studies. To address these issues, social network analysis was performed to identify critical stakeholders and barriers. Their interactions in agriculture green technology diffusion were analyzed based on the literature, a questionnaire survey and expert judgments. A two-mode network and two one-mode networks were used to analyze the relationships among the identified 12 barriers and 14 stakeholders who can influence these 12 barriers identified. The results show that agricultural research institutes, universities, agribusiness, agencies of township promotion, the government and farmers' relatives are key stakeholders and that the limited market demand for green technology and the high cost of its diffusion are two main barriers. However, poor green technology operability and farmer families in distress are factors that are not as important as previously perceived. Finally, some recommendations and suggestions are provided to promote agriculture green technology diffusion in China.Polydiacetylene vesicles of various compositions were assembled using a two-part mixture of 10,12-pentacosadiynoic acid (PCDA) and ethylenedioxy-bis-ethylamine (EDEA)-labeled PCDA in order to control surface charge and stability within a desired pH range. Investigation of the interaction of the vesicles with mammalian cells as a function of surface charge was carried out and identified a clear correlation in cell-vesicle association and corresponding cell death for vesicles with positive surface charge. The binding behavior of the vesicles was found to be tunable by regulating the proportion of anionic PCDA relative to cationic PCDA-EDEA content within vesicles as to control the surface charge as a function of pH. Association of vesicles with cells thus depended on the corresponding charge of the vesicles and cell surface. The prospect of this work may serve as a step toward future vesicle designs to allow triggered uptake of vesicles locally within low pH tumor microenvironments.
