The existing meta-analyses and randomized studies on comparing the effects of carvedilol and metoprolol are of poor quality, with small sample sizes, and involve a homogeneous population. Therefore, to provide new evidence-based medical evidence for clinical treatment, we undertook a systematic review and meta-analysis to compare the mortality benefits of carvedilol with metoprolol head to head and determine the better beta-blocker in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) setting.

Seven electronic databases including Web of Science, Embase, PubMed, Wanfang Data, Scopus, Science Direct, Cochrane Library will be searched in May 2021 by 2 independent reviewers. The protocol was written following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols (PRISMA-P) statement guidelines. The primary outcome is all-cause mortality; secondary outcomes include complex cardiovascular events, sudden death, cardiovascular death, reinfarction, revascularization, readmission, ventricular arrhythmias, and drug withdrawal for all causes except death. All outcomes are pooled on random-effect model. A P value of <.05 is considered to be statistically significant.

The review will add to the existing literature by showing compelling evidence and improved guidance in clinic settings.

Teaching resource of nursing students play an important role in improving clinical performance, while there is a little know and dearth of the access and development criteria or guidance of teaching resources for nursing undergraduates. To develop the admission and development criteria of education resources for nursing undergraduates, and to explore and determine its composition and connotation.A cross-sectional survey has been used.A total of 22 Chinese nursing schools and affiliated teaching bases (hospitals and community health centers).A total of 20 nursing experts were consulted to develop the questionnaire of admission and development criteria of teaching resource for nursing undergraduates in China, and then 285 valid experts from 22 Chinese nursing schools and affiliated teaching bases (hospitals and community health centers) conducted the questionnaire survey to evaluate experts' consensus rate and view on the composition and connotation of the developed criteria. There were 6 domains and 43 items iment of nursing undergraduates.

Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) has the characteristics of minimally invasive, strong repeatability, and good curative effect, so it is commonly used in the nonoperative treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). selleck products However, infection will occur after TACE, which not only increases the hospitalization time and medical expenses, but also affects the efficacy of TACE treatment. At present, there is a lack of analysis of the risk factors of infection after TACE of patients with HCC. In this study, meta-analysis was used to further explore the risk factors of postoperative infection in patients with HCC after TACE, and to provide strategies for infection prevention and intervention.

To search the literatures about the influencing factors of post-TACE infection in patients with HCC published from the establishment of PubMed, Embase, The Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China Biology Medicine Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, China Science and Technology Journal Database, and WANFANG to April 2021. Screening was carried out according to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. A meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3 software.

We disseminated the findings of this systematic review and meta-analysis via publications in peer-reviewed journals.

This study systematically reviewed the existing evidence and determined the incidence and predictors of infection after TACE of patients with HCC.

The private information from individuals will not be published. This systematic review also should not damage participants' rights. Approval from an ethics committee is not required for this study. The results may be published in a peer-reviewed journal or disseminated in relevant conferences.

Ankylosing spondylitis is a recurrent autoimmune disease, which has a high disability rate and seriously affects patients' daily life. Conventional treatment cannot effectively solve the clinical problems of patients, and long-term medication is accompanied by adverse reactions. The evidence shows that warming needle moxibustion has advantages in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis, but there is still a lack of clinical studies on warm acupuncture alone and long-term follow-up.

This is a prospective randomized controlled trial to study the efficacy and safety of needle warming through moxibustion in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis. It was approved by the Ethics Committee of Clinical Research of our hospital. Patients were randomly assigned to an observation group or a control group. The patients were followed up for 6 months after 30 days of treatment. Observation indicators include; activity index, functional ability, Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Metrology Index, inflammatory indicators, adverse reactions, and so on. Finally, SPASS 22.0 software is used for statistical analysis of the data.

This study will evaluate the clinical efficacy of warming needle moxibustion in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis. The results of this study will provide a reference basis for the clinical use of warm needle moxibustion in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis.

The gene mutation of coding sodium channel is one of the most important mechanisms in the pathogenesis of epilepsy. There exists a large inter-individual variation in the efficacy of valproic acid (VPA) against epilepsy. What are the genetic polymorphism influences of sodium channels on VPA response is still under discussion. In this study, a meta-analysis was used to further explore the effects of SCN1A and SCN2A gene polymorphism on VPA response in children with epilepsy.

The PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, Chinese Science and Technique Journals Database, China Biology Medicine disc, and Wan Fang Database were searched up to April 2021 for appropriate studies regarding the association between SCN1A and SCN2A gene polymorphism on VPA response in children suffering from epilepsy. The meta-analysis was conducted by Review Manager 5.3 software.

The results of this meta-analysis will be submitted to a peer-reviewed journal for publication.

This meta-analysis will summarize the effects of SCN1A and SCN2A gene polymorphisms on VPA response in children with epilepsy.
