Food, Drug, & Cosmetic (FD&C) dyes can be found in various products outside of food that are consumed by children. The amount of FD&C dyes used in commercial products is proprietary. MEK inhibition Determining the contribution of dye intake from commercial products requires direct assessment of FD&C dyes in the products. This dataset contains the raw data of HPLC peak areas, absolute values, averages, SDs and % RSD for FD&C dyes in children's gummy vitamins, children's tablet vitamins, prenatal vitamins, children's cough/cold/allergy tablets & syrups, and children's pain reliever tablets & syrups obtained using high performance liquid chromatography with a photometric diode array detector (HPLC-PDA). The data can be used for further interpretations of dye intake in children, based upon dose levels suggested for distinct age groups, to evaluate the consumption of the FD&C dyes and accepted daily intake (ADIs) suggested for each FD&C dye by the United States Food & Drug Administration (US FDA). The variability associated within each category is critical for understanding how products on the market can differ between lot especially with large gaps between expiration dates. The interpretation of the data is described in "Certified Food Dyes in Over the Counter Medicines and Supplements Marketed for Children and Pregnant Women" in the Journal of Food and Chemical Toxicology [1].In this case study, we analyzed the wound-healing process of a patient with a chronic wound who underwent fire needle treatment, and we tracked the coverage of granulation tissue and decrease of slough and exudate. An 85-year-old man had repeated right shoulder and back pain, itching, and skin festering for more than 1.5 years. A fire needle was administered combined with moist dressing once every 5 days to promote wound healing. After six rounds of fire needle treatment, granulation tissue formed over the surface of the wound base, the depth of the wound had become shallow, and the wound area was reduced. No complications occurred during the intervention. Fire needle therapy combined with a moist wound-healing dressing can be an effective alternative approach in managing chronic wounds. The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) shocked the world as it spread rapidly from continent to continent, and finally, it became a pandemic resulting in many infected patients, with an increasing number of deaths, and a devastating effect on worldwide economics. People only know that epidemic or pandemic is a rapid spread of infection, but in fact it can also be regarded as a biological disaster, which can be managed from a perspective of disaster management. This article discusses the current situation of the anti-epidemic response of COVID-19, and suggests using a disaster management approach to better handle this pandemic situation through mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery. As more nurses embrace precision science, there is a tendency to utilize theoretical frameworks from other disciplines thus, placing nursing at risk of losing its autonomy and independence. The discipline has fallen prey to internal binary opposition, eliminating opportunities to engage in civil discourse. To explore how the roles nurses select might fit together in a theoretical framework and help nurses understand how the roles they choose to support their identity as nurses, this paper introduced a model of nursing that includes the bench scientists, the policy activists, and bedside nurses, using the Neuman Systems Model (NSM). The Nurse Role Integration Model (NRIM) espouses the basic tenets of NSM prevention counteracts stressors from penetrating the client's lines of defense thus, reducing stress response. Primary prevention reflects the work of the nurse bench scientists, investigating the underlying mechanisms behind pathophysiology; secondary prevention is applied nurse scientists who build upon nurse researchers' work, identifying and testing potential interventions; tertiary prevention is nurse policy activists, the fulcrum, who leverage primary and secondary findings to argue policy change at all levels. Once policy change is adopted, bedside nurses are educated and implement the change. This lens provides an opportunity to create greater solidarity, strengthening the unity and autonomy of the discipline.

To identify self-care actions for the maintenance of arteriovenous fistula of renal patients.

An integrative review study was conducted and literature were searched in Medline/PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL, LILACS, BDENF and SciELO Library databases using the descriptors chronic renal insufficiency, arteriovenous fistula, self-care, and knowledge. The inclusion criteria were that the documents be written in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, full text available, published in the last five years, and that they address the research question. Reflection articles, theses, dissertations, editorials of non-scientific journals, and research studies that did not follow the necessary methodological rigor were excluded. Data were analyzed with the IRAMUTEQ software.

Fifteen articles were selected and comprised the final sample. Seven classes of self-care actions emerged from the text segments analysis and grouped into three categories 1) Self-care actions that maintain the arteriovenous fistula; 2) Self-care actions for tions aimed at the renal patient. However, more studies with high levels of evidence that identify self-care actions with arteriovenous fistula and the factors involved in its implementation are needed.

To compare outcomes associated with patient education about glycemic control via group chat versus patient education as usual among individuals with diabetes in China.

We searched the following databases both in English and in Chinese languages PubMed, CNKI, Wanfang database, VIP database, and CBM for articles published up to Jan 1, 2018. The studies were screened by two independent reviewers. Using criteria from the risk of bias assessment tool developed by Cochrane Collaboration to assess the risk of bias of eligible studies. A meta-analysis of studies was performed using comprehensive meta-analysis version 3.0.

Twenty-five unique randomized clinical trials, including 2,838 patients, were identified. The education delivered via group chat had large overall pooled effect sizes in improving glucose control measured by hemoglobin A1c [Hedges' g=-0.81, 95% CI (-0.98,-0.64)], fasting blood glucose [Hedges' g=-1.11, 95% CI (-1.37,-0.85)], and 2h postprandial blood glucose [Hedges' g=-0.98, 95% CI (-1.20,-0.
