Slot missions can be a great method to obtain weapons, equipment, and more. But they're also difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that lets you bring guns into an operation. Some players use this to help reach certain achievements, especially those going for Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to bridge the gap. It's important to remember that in order to select the pistols that belong in this slot you must click on the button for the appropriate category for example, machine guns in the alternate slot. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are in use, making it simpler to use. This combo can also trigger a damage tick from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as it is slotted.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled items slot is an excellent feature that allows players to bring tools and weapons into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently designed as a pistol that makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other slots in the gear.

The smuggle slot is able to hold an array of objects, ranging from simple concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items are secretly stored in inconspicuous places around the map and can be recovered at any moment. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is a function available in episodic missions that lets players gain access to different starting points as well as smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This allows players to prepare the best task for every challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice that their gear slots fill up, leading to the frequently-repeated "Your Gear Slots are Full" message which prevents Max from picking new equipment until old items are removed or space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this issue. They give players an increase in inventory space to complete challenges missions. Because many of these challenges could be missed and are scattered around the world, it may take some time to obtain the maximum number inventory slots in the game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups





As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations allow you to keep items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot, and get them back later.

These pickups are especially useful if you have to pass through a frisk later in the course of your mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise cause suspicion. However, you can only conceal one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.
