Two familiar surgical methods, posterior approach (PA) and direct anterior approach (DAA), have been extensively utilized in the treatment of total hip arthroplasty (THA) with similar long-term rates of success. The Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new acute respiratory infectious disease that has become a major global public health event. In China, the combination of Huashi Baidu Formula (HBF) and antiviral drugs is used in the clinical treatment of severe patients with new coronary pneumonia, but there is still a lack of evidence-based medical evaluation.
We search for research in PubMed/MEDLINE, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Database, VIP Database, Cochrane Library, Embase, China Biomedical Database (CBM), and Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD). For "Huashi Baidu Formula" and "COVID-19," we screened suitable articles without language restrictions on keywords, and recorded and analyzed the screened literature with RevMan 5.3 and STATA 14.2 software.
This systematic review and meta-analysis will evaluate the efficacy and safety of HBF combined with antiviral drugs in the treatment of COVID-19, and provide the rationality of clinical drug application.
Our findings will provide references for clinical diagnosis and treatment and guidance programs for COVID-19.

Whether biliary drainage should be performed before surgery in jaundiced patients is a topic of debate. Published studies on the effect of preoperative biliary drainage show great discrepancies in their conclusions, and the use of different drainage methods is an important factor. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of preoperative biliary stents (PBS) on postoperative outcomes in patients following pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD).
MEDLINE, EMBASE, Science Citation Index Expanded, and the Cochrane database were searched up to October 2019 to identify all published articles related to the topic. A meta-analysis was performed to compare postoperative outcomes in patients with and without PBS. Quality assessment and data extraction from included studies were performed by 2 independent authors. Statistical analysis was performed using RevMan 5.2 software.

Despite some researchers have compared the safety and effectiveness of percutaneous endoscopic discectomy (PED) and microendoscopic discectomy (MD) for the lumbar disc herniation; however, they got conflicting outcomes in several variables. Therefore, our aim was to clarify whether PED produces less surgical trauma and better clinical results than MD.
A single-center, retrospective cohort trial was conducted for the comparison of the safety and effectiveness between the MD and PED in the patients with lumbar disc herniation who received surgery from May 2016 to July 2018 in our hospital. link2 The inclusion criteria for our investigation includedThe follow-ups were performed 6 weeks, 3, 6, 12 and 24 months after the surgery. Numeric Rating Scale, Short-form 36, and Oswestry Disability Index, as well as complications were evaluated in our study. Synovial sarcoma (SS) is a malignant neoplasm that arises from soft tissues proximal to the joints. It occurs primarily at the major joints of the extremities, but may also occur in the deep soft tissues around the joints. While primary renal synovial sarcoma (PRSS) is extremely rare, it is important to have a better understanding of their imaging and clinical features to establish an effective treatment plan. Correct identification of PRSS is also useful for treating renal neoplasms.
A 56-year-old Chinese man was admitted to our hospital due to moderate, paroxysmal left-sided loin pain.
Renal enhanced computed tomography (CT) scanning showed a relatively hypovascular lesion with calcification in the left kidney. A radical nephrectomy was performed in the left kidney. Postoperative pathology indicated SS with necrosis. Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) are common disorders that manifest themselves in the late luteal phase, and significantly interfere with an individual's daily activities. Clinical evidence suggests that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) may ease PMS/PMDD symptoms. Here, we review a protocol for exploring the effectiveness and safety of TCM in PMS/PMDD management.
We will conduct a literature search for randomized controlled trials (RCT) for TCM use in PMS/PMDD on PubMed, web of science, EMBASE, the Cochrane central register of controlled trials (Cochrane Library), Chinese national knowledge infrastructure, Chinese VIP Information, Wanfang, as well as Chinese biomedical literature database. The search included all relevant reports for up to June 1, 2020. The search results were independently analyzed by 2 reviewers who extracted the data. RCT quality will be assessed using the risk-of-bias tool. The evidence will be inspected using the grading of recommendations assessment development and evaluation (GRADE).
