The use of AI in cardiac PET imaging is to date limited, although first, important results have been shown, overcoming technical issues, improving diagnostic accuracy and providing prognostic information. In this review we aimed to summarize the state-of-the-art regarding AI applications in cardiovascular PET.

This article examined the association between workplace incivility experiences of nurses and patient safety (PS) culture in hospitals.

Workplace incivility, which is characterised by low-intensity behaviours with unclear intention to harm and disruption of workplace ambiance of mutual respect, may threaten the work environment, resulting in an unhealthy and unsafe workplace.

Cross-sectional study.

This study surveyed 261 nurses in Saudi Arabia from June 2019 to August 2019 using the 'Hospital Survey of Patients' Safety Culture' and the 'Nurse Incivility Scale'. A multiple linear regression was performed with unit- and hospital-level PS culture as the dependent variables.

'Organizational learning-continuous improvement' and 'Teamwork within units' were recognised as PS culture strengths. The nurses reported workplace incivility from patient/visitor as the most frequently experienced (mean=2.27, standard deviation=0.88). Working in Hospital B (ß=0.24, p<.001, 95%CI=0.15, 0.33) and having a baccalaucreation and implementation of policies aimed at eliminating uncivil behaviours in clinical settings to ensure that unit- and hospital-level PS culture are above standards.

The study emphasises the call to eradicate any form of incivility in healthcare settings to guarantee a PS culture. Hospital and nursing managers should prioritise the creation and implementation of policies aimed at eliminating uncivil behaviours in clinical settings to ensure that unit- and hospital-level PS culture are above standards. The coordinatively unsaturated chromium(II)-based Cr3 [(Cr4 Cl)3 (BTT)8 ]2 (Cr-BTT; BTT3- =1,3,5-benzenetristetrazolate) metal-organic framework (MOF) has been shown to exhibit exceptional selectivity towards adsorption of O2 over N2 /H2 . Using periodic density functional theory (DFT) calculations, we attempted to decipher the origin of this puzzling selectivity. By computing and analyzing the magnetic exchange coupling, binding energies, the partial density of states (pDOS), and adsorption isotherms for the pristine and gas-bound MOFs [(Cr4 (X)4 Cl)3 (BTT)8 ]3- (X=O2 , N2 , and H2 ), we unequivocally established the role of spin states and spin coupling in controlling the gas selectivity. check details The computed geometries and gas adsorption isotherms are consistent with the earlier experiments. The binding of O2 to the MOF follows an electron-transfer mechanism resulting in a CrIII superoxo species (O2 .- ) with a very strong antiferromagnetic coupling between the two centers, whereas N2 /H2 are found to weakly interact with the metal center and hence only slightly perturb the associated coupling constants. Although the gas-bound and unbound MOFs have an S=0 ground state (GS), the nature of spin the configurations and the associated magnetic exchanges are dramatically different. The binding energy and the number of oxygen molecules that can favorably bind to the Cr center were found to vary with respect to the spin state, with a significant energy margin (47.6 kJ mol-1 ). This study offers a hitherto unknown strategy of using spin state/spin couplings to control gas adsorption selectivity in MOFs.

The quantitative analysis of trace resveratrol and polydatin in plant tissues is suitable for elucidation of the compounds' mechanisms of action.

The main objective of this work was to develop a feasible and effective sample pretreatment method to measure the concentrations of resveratrol and polydatin in complex samples.

A polymer sorbent, poly(2-mercaptobenzimidazole), was electrochemically prepared and utilized for selective extraction, while resveratrol and polydatin were used as target analytes. The sorbent was characterized by cyclic voltammetry, scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. After extraction and elution, the analytes were analyzed by a Thermo U3000 HPLC system. Several affecting parameters, including the volume of elution solution, sample pH value, sample flow rate and sample volume, were evaluated and optimized.

The proposed method showed good linearity with low limits of detection (from 0.5 to 0.8ng·mL

) and ideal accuracy with spiked recoveries from 81.30% to 99.16%. A good enrichment factor (more than 200-fold) together with good sensitivity was obtained with this method. Analysis of resveratrol and polydatin in Polygonum cuspidatum samples by this method is efficient.

The method developed in this work exhibits several significant merits, including easy operation and high extraction efficiency, indicating that electrochemically prepared polymer sorbent is useful for sample pretreatment and analysis of traditional Chinese medicine samples.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of perceived discrimination on children's depression and behavioral problems via the mediator of integration among Chinese migrant children. Rural-urban differences in the proposed relationships are also examined.

The sample included 484 migrant children (Mean age=11.65years; 52.9% girls), which was collected through multi-stage cluster random sampling in Kunming, Southwest China. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was adopted for data analysis.

Results indicate that perceived discrimination reduces the integration of Chinese migrant children, which in turn, leads to their higher levels of depression and more behavioral problems. The multi-group analysis on rural-urban differences reveals that the effects of discrimination on depression and behavioral problems are significant among rural-urban migrants but not among urban-urban ones.

This study contributes to current knowledge by revealing the mechanisms among perceived discrimination, integration, depression and behavioral problems of Chinese migrant children. The migration pattern differences in terms of their depression and behavioral problems are also highlighted.

Folium nelumbinis is used as vegetable, functional food and herbal medicine in Asia. p-Sulfonatocalix[6]arene (SC6A) is a water-soluble supramolecular macrocycle and has never been applied to the extraction of herbal products.

In this study, SC6A-assisted extraction of nuciferine from Folium nelumbinis has been carried out to develop an eco-friendly extraction process with high extraction efficacy and easy operation.

Single-factor experiments were adopted to obtain the optimal conditions for the SC6A-assisted extraction of nuciferine from Folium nelumbinis, and then nuciferine and SC6A were separated easily by one-step alkalization. The host-guest complexes between nuciferine and SC6A were analyzed by competitive fluorescence titration, DSC, FT-IR and

H-NMR.

The optimal SC6A/Folium nelumbinis/solution ratio for extraction was 0.4120 (g/g/mL), with a granulometric fraction below 180 μm and an extraction time of 1h with soaking. The purity and recovery of nuciferine extracted with SC6A were increased 29.24 and 35.73 times compared with extraction with aqueous solution, respectively. Moreover, a good reusability of SC6A in the extraction of nuciferine was demonstrated. Competitive fluorescence titration, DSC, FT-IR and

H-NMR characterization indicated that SC6A could form host-guest complexes with nuciferine at a ratio of 11.

The study provided an eco-friendly, safe and effective nuciferine extraction method, which can be used for the development of nutrition supplements containing nuciferine.

Neurofibromatosis 1 (NF1) is one of the most common inherited disorders characterized by mutations in the tumour suppressor gene NF1. Its clinical manifestations are highly variable and unpredictable. A specific NF1 mutation does not predict the severity or complications of the disease.

The objective of this study was to build an empirical classification scheme without any a priori hypotheses to identify the underlying NF1 subtypes that best explain the observed heterogeneity.

We performed latent class analysis (LCA) of 1351 consecutive NF1 patients aged >17 years seen between 2002 and 2014. Data and phenotypic features were collected prospectively on a standardized form.

The median age was 36.8 (17-81) years. A three-class model showed the best fit 706 (52%) belonged to the LC1 'Cutaneous neurofibromas' class having preferentially cutaneous neurofibromas (99%), plexiform neurofibromas (63%) and blue-red macules (29%); 593 (44%) belonged to the LC2 'Subcutaneous neurofibromas' class characterized by the presence of at least 10 subcutaneous neurofibromas (21%) and a familial form (77%) and 52 (4%) belonged to the LC3 'Dysmorphic phenotype' class characterized by dysmorphic features (78%) and learning difficulties (87%). Patients in LC1 had a higher likelihood of developing scoliosis (RR = 1.7, 95% confidence interval (CI) [1.2-2.4]). Patients in LC2 were more likely to be men (RR = 1.4, 95% CI [1.1-1.7]). Patients in LC3 were at higher risk of having an optic pathway glioma (RR = 4.8, 95% CI [1.9-11.8]) and epilepsy (RR = 4.5, 95% CI [1.8-11.6]).

Our findings invite the performance of a larger cohort study to test whether the various latent classes reflect different underlying genetic modifiers of these phenotypic traits.

The active cofactor of the leading form of this enzyme contains seven irons and one molybdenum connected by sulfide bridges. In several recent experimental studies, it has been suggested that the cofactor is very flexible, and might lose one of its sulfides during catalysis. In this study, the possible loss of a sulfide has been investigated by model calculations. In previous studies, we have shown that there should be four activation steps before catalysis starts, and this study is based on that finding. It was found here that, after the four reductions in the activation steps, a sulfide will become very loosely bound and can be released in a quite exergonic step with a low barrier. The binding of N2 has no part in that release. In our previous studies, we suggested that the central carbide should be protonated three times after the four activation steps. With the new finding, there will instead be a loss of a sulfide, as the barrier for the loss is much lower than the ones for protonating the carbide.
