Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have attracted great attention due to their known role in facilitating intercellular communication in a diverse range of cellular processes. In the 30 years since the discovery of exosomes, a class of EV, they have gone from being considered a cellular waste disposal mechanism to an important aspect of cell-to-cell communication. The exponential interest in exosomes in recent years is due to their key role in health and disease and their potential clinical application in therapy and diagnosis. This review aims to provide an updated picture of the sources, isolation methods, therapeutic outcomes and current application of EVs, in particular exosomes.Aim Nonhuman primates are essential for research on many human diseases. The Infinium Human Methylation450/EPIC BeadChips are popular tools for the study of the methylation state across the human genome at affordable cost. Methods We performed a precise evaluation and re-annotation of the BeadChip probes for the analysis of genome-wide DNA methylation patterns in rhesus macaques and African green monkeys through in silico analyses combined with functional validation by pyrosequencing. Results Up to 165,847 of the 450K and 261,545 probes of the EPIC BeadChip can be reliably used. The annotation files are provided in a format compatible with a variety of standard bioinformatic pipelines. Conclusion Our study will facilitate high-throughput DNA methylation analyses in Macaca mulatta and Chlorocebus sabaeus.The environment provided for animals in captivity is less complex than its natural habitat, which generates a stressful condition. Environmental enrichment tries to meet the animals' ethological and psychological needs. This paper aims to evaluate the effect of different environmental enrichment methods on the jaguarundi (Herpailurus yagouaroundi; É Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire, 1803) behavior kept in captivity at Fundação Ecológica e Zoobotânico de Brusque - SC [Brusque Ecological and Zoobotanical Foundation - SC]. Four environmental enrichments were introduced, and the behaviors expressed by the animal were observed in three stages (pre-enrichment, during-enrichment, and post-enrichment), totaling 55 h. Differences in behaviors were tested using the Mann-Whitney test. After the "sensory enrichment" there was a decrease in the behaviors of Maintenance, Calm, and Inactive with an increase in the expression of Exploratory behaviors. On the other hand, both "physical enrichments" reduced the expression of Exploratory and Locomotion behaviors, with an increase of Inactive and Calm. The "occupational/nutritional enrichment" increased the Inactive behaviors reducing Locomotion and Pacing. Identify factors influencing service delivery changes during COVID-19 and examine barriers and provider satisfaction with teleneuropsychology (teleNP).
Licensed clinical neuropsychologists within the United States recruited via neuropsychology-specific listservs (July-August 2020) to complete an online survey.
A total of 261 individuals completed the survey. Most (76%) reported delivering in-person testing in some capacity at the time of our survey. Relatively more private practitioners identified concerns with privacy/confidentiality (45.2% vs. 17.9%;

< 0.05), and an undesirable precedent for legal/forensic cases (59.5% vs. 15.4%;

< 0.001) compared to hospital or other medical (non-VA) practitioners. Multiple resources informed teleNP protocols, such as organization guidelines (87.6%), literature review (75.9%), webinars (72.4%), and consultation (68%). Several factors influenced test selection, idents employed multiple resources in aggregating teleNP protocols and considered several factors when selecting tests. Results highlight the complex and varied decision-making processes utilized by respondents to adapt to service delivery changes. Considering the many benefits of teleNP, future research addressing some of the potentially modifiable factors (e.g., technology access, attitudes regarding teleNP) and significant development needs for teleNP itself (i.e., improved teleNP norms, further validation studies, etc.) is warranted.
Ground-glass opacity and consolidation are recognized typical features of Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pneumonia on Chest CT, yet ancillary findings have not been fully described. We aimed to describe ancillary findings of COVID-19 pneumonia on CT, to define their prevalence, and investigate their association with clinical data.
We retrospectively reviewed our CT chest cases with coupled reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (rt-PCR). Patients with negative rt-PCR or without admission chest CT were excluded. Ancillary findings included vessel enlargement, subpleural curvilinear lines, dependent subpleural atelectasis, centrilobular solid nodules, pleural and/or pericardial effusions, enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes. Continuous data were expressed as median and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) and tested by Mann-Whitney
test.
Ancillary findings were represented by 106/252 (42.1%, 36.1 to 48.2) vessel enlargement, 50/252 (19.8%, 15.4 to 25.2) subpleural curvilinear lines, 26/252 (10.1%,), whereas centrilobular solid nodules were associated with higher rate of intensive care unit admission (
= 0.01).

While many reviews have been performed to attempt to provide conclusive evidence regarding the outcomes of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in osteoarthritis treatment, the evidence for MSC treatment in osteoarthritis remains contentious, as these reviews have been limited by the heterogeneous evidence available.
To pool the results of treatment using intra-articular injections of MSCs without any adjuvant therapies for osteoarthritis.
