Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain pushchair with light weight and excellent maneuverability. The compact fold using one hand makes it simple to carry. It can also stand on its own when folded. The padded seat reclines into an almost flat position and there's a huge canopy and storage bin. The suitability for newborns is yes with an additional carrycot.

Air-filled tyres and good suspension will handle rough terrain well. You can also use it for jogging. But, you should wait until your baby is at minimum 6 or 9 months old.

Ickle Bubba XL Air

This lightweight pushchair from Ickle Bubba comes with a variety of features that parents will appreciate. The travel system comes with a lie flat carrycot for infants as well as a dual-position forward and rear facing pushchair seat.

The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to understand why it's received the highest praise from customers. It is extremely light with the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg. It's also very simple to put together. I was able to get it up and running in just five minutes - which is amazing considering that it included the fabric for the carrycot to be attached.

The seat is large and comfortable for Annie who is 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to use. There's plenty of space in the basket, and I love the fact that it comes with a zip-up compartment in the handle bar so that you can keep your phone and keys secure!

The only issue is that the handlebar is quite low, which could be an issue for taller parents. However, it's encased in a gorgeous leather-like material that's soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, meaning it's still a breeze to push with bags and children in your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is for parents who love to explore and are always on the move. The large pneumatic wheels can be utilized on field and forest trails. The front wheel is lockable and swivels to increase the flexibility. 3 wheel buggy comes with 5-point safety harness with an adjustable front bar that will keep your child safe during all journeys. The parking brake keeps the stroller stationary while you take a rest. The comfy seat is easy to adjust down to a lying position, and the canopy can be opened to allow netting for optimum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit mum or dad.

The Runner will accompany you on all your adventures whether it's a short jog, a longer hike or a long-distance trek. It has a fully-flat lay-flat seat that has suspension air wheels to ensure an easy ride. The front wheel is lockable to provide more stability on narrow streets and congested sidewalks, and the stroller folds easily to fit into car boots and storage spaces.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally the locking system (requiring two buttons either on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebar is higher than some competitors and therefore it may not suit shorter parents, but overall this is an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller worth considering for active families.

Red Kite Push Me Pace

The Pace is another great offering from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which prides itself on making easy-to-use and simple essentials for parents. It's their latest and the most expensive addition to the budget-friendly stroller line. Like the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo, it is car seat-compatible, so it can be used from birth.

The new Pace has some amazing design features, including a rose gold tint to the chassis, hood and stroller trims that truly distinguish it from its competitors. The car seat and stroller fabrics are fashionable in grey, tan, and cream. You can also add a leather handle and bumper bar to match.

It is suitable from birth up to a max weight of 22kg and the stroller seat easily converts from the carrycot into a 2-in-1 reversible mode, parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat has multi lie back positions, softly padded leg rests and comes with an extended sun canopy that has concealed zip sections, a viewing through flaps and an adjustable sun visor.

When folded, the Pace measures 56 33cm x 43cm x 32cm which is perfect for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. Two buttons on each side are easy to utilize and press into the right position.

Bugaboo Fox 5

Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis has a shorter wheel width which makes it easier to maneuver than its predecessor. I put it to the test with my two children - an infant and an eight-week old - across rocky pavements along woodland paths, grassy trails and even cobblestones.

The puncture-proof wheels are huge in size - 22cm and a whopping 30cm - so they can cope with all kinds of terrain. They also have an easy flap that opens or closes to let more air to enter if you need it this is a nice touch. It is a little bigger than other pushchairs, however it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when pushing it across bumpy surfaces.

The seat fabric is machine washable and the frame and faux leather grips are simple to wipe down. It's also quieter than other pushchairs and I was comfortable using it in busy urban streets. A bonus feature is that it comes with accessory points. This means you can add footmuffs, parasols, changing bags and even a snack tray. The hood can be used to block rain and wind, however it's not waterproof. The single pram can be outfitted with the Comfort Wheeled board (not included) which allows your child more legroom. The bassinet took around 20 minutes to set up and it took about the same amount of time to convert it into an actual seat.

UPPAbaby Ridge

No matter if you prefer an early morning run in the cool air or a moonlit stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a memorable one. This all-terrain jogging stroller has been optimized for performance to keep you and your child active.

The huge 12" and 16" foam-filled tires offer an easy ride, regardless of the terrain. The durable performance disc hand brake allows you to stop quickly, even while jogging downhill.

From bustling farmers markets to street performers performing a tune The Ridge is able to navigate your city's most popular scenes with ease. The large basket can accommodate everything you need and market purchases, while the massive canopy provides sun and wind protection. The oversized front canopy also unzips to reveal two mesh windows that make it simple to keep an eye on your child's surroundings.

The Ridge's reversible seat allows you to choose whether your child faces you, or the world ahead. Its simple foot brake system makes it a breeze for parents who are new. One of the best features is the reversible handlebar, that allows you to adjust it to your height and preferences. The Ridge's fold, unlike many strollers for jogging, is sturdy and self-standing when folded.

iCandy Core

iCandy's new pushchair is truly groundbreaking, with lots of features that are likely to impress parents. It comes with a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a pioneering LED Visibility Hub Light, which is a first for the industry. It features an integrated Ride-on Board that saves on future costs and lets tired toddlers accompany their parents on outings.

The Core can be purchased as a single or as a complete travel system. it works with most popular car seats from brands such as Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie. It has the largest seat unit in the iCandy line, which means you can use it to help your baby's start and beyond. It's a luxuriously constructed pushchair, and it has premium knitted fabrics. The handlebar that parents can adjust and the child's bumper bar that can be detached are made from soft leatherette, and the folded calf support can be super comfortable for children.

It was amazing how quickly it folded and collapsed even with the seat unit still attached. And it fits easily into your boot and hallway which makes it ideal to travel with. The iCandy Core comes with lots of extra accessories, including a rucksack with a color match and footmuff/liner.
