n in the PCOS group. A positive and significant correlation was also found between FF vit D levels and positive pregnancy test (r=0.566, p<0.03) and CPR (r=0.605, p<0.02) in PCOS group. There was no correlation between FF-vit D levels and live birth and miscarriage rates in neither the PCOS nor the non-PCOS group.

Both serum and FF 25-hydroxyvitamin D level of women with PCOS at the time of oocyte retrieval are similar to non-PCOS controls. While FF 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels correlate with total and MII oocyte counts, positive pregnancy test and CPR, it does not correlate with miscarriage and live birth rates.

Management of pregnancy complicated by severe early-onset fetal growth restriction (FGR) is one of the most challenging obstetrical issues. So far, there has not been a proven option for the treatment or improvement of this condition. Improper immune response during placentation leads to inadequate trophoblast invasion and impaired utero-placental perfusion. Pentoxifylline improves the endothelial function and induces vasodilation by reducing the inflammatory-mediated cytokines. We have evaluated the effect of Pentoxifylline on fetal-placental perfusion, neonatal outcome, and the level of oxidative stress markers before and after the intervention in the setting of severe early-onset FGR.

This study is a pilot randomized clinical trial on 40 pregnant women who had developed early-onset growth restricted fetus. Pentoxifylline and placebo were given with a dose of 400mg per os two times daily until delivery. Serial ultrasound examination regarding fetal weight, amniotic fluid and also utero-placenta-fetal Doeased fetal weight gain, and reduced neonatal mortality by decreasing the level of oxidative stress markers and cutting down the inflammatory cascade.

Using Pentoxifylline in pregnancy affected by FGR might show promising effects. In this study, Pentoxifylline improved the neonatal outcome, increased fetal weight gain, and reduced neonatal mortality by decreasing the level of oxidative stress markers and cutting down the inflammatory cascade.

This study aimed to evaluate the course of long-term conservative management of bladder endometriosis (BE).

We retrospectively reviewed 17 cases of BE conservatively managed without surgery in our facility. The following factors were analyzed age, medical history, lesion size, symptoms, hormonal treatment, and follow-up outcomes.

In this study, 15 patients received hormonal therapy and 2 did not. Oral contraceptive (OC), dienogest (DNG), and gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRHa) were administered as the first regimen in 7, 5, and 3 patients, respectively. Of the 7 patients, OC administration was effective in alleviating urinary symptoms in all but 2 patients. Of 3 patients who received GnRHa, 2 switched to OC and then DNG, and 1 patient discontinued the treatment because of adverse effects. Of 5 patients who received DNG, all experienced symptom relief. DNG, OC, and GnRHa administration were effective and tolerable in 9 of 10 patients (90.0%), in 5 of 9 patients (55.6%), and in 2 of 3 patients (66.7%), respectively. Ralimetinib mw In particular, 3 patients completed DNG treatment until menopause. The size of the BE lesion significantly decreased after 3 months of DNG administration, and the reduction effect was maintained until 48 months thereafter.

This study proposed that hormonal therapy for BE is an effective option for those who are not planning to conceive or to undergo surgery. Specifically, DNG may be suitable for patients refusing surgery, considering the effectiveness and tolerance for long-term use.

The aim of this study was to review the reproductive outcomes of women with a cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) treated with dilation and curettage (D&C) after uterine artery embolization (UAE).

This was a retrospective study to review women who received UAE followed by D&C for CSP between January 2010 and December 2019at the Changhua Christian Hospital, Changhua in Taiwan. Data were collected from both electronic and paper medical records. Patients were contact via phone call to follow up reproductive outcomes between January 2021 and March 2021. These subsequent reproductive outcomes (including pregnancy rate, secondary infertility rate, miscarriage rate, live birth rate, and recurrent CSP rate) were recorded and analyzed.

A total of 53 cases of women who received UAE followed by D&C for CSP were identified. The women's average age was 34.8±5.1 years. The mean gestational age at diagnosis was 6.2±1.1 weeks. The mean level for human chorionic gonadotropin was 23,407.7±29,105.5 mIU/ml. The averaeatment options for CSP, as it enables preservation of fertility after treatment.

Endometrial cancer is a threat to women health worldwide. Cylindromatosis (CYLD) enzyme is a tumour suppressor, considered an effective prognostic marker in various malignancies, but its role in endometrial carcinoma is not fully elucidated. Here, we sought to estimate the prognostic value of CYLD expression in endometrial carcinoma.

CYLD levels were immunohistochemically evaluated in 65 patients with endometrial carcinoma and inferential statistics were applied.

Low or negative CYLD expression significantly correlates with older ages, non-endometrioid and invasive carcinomas, tumours with moderate or poor differentiation and advanced stages. Moreover, non-endometrioid and invasive carcinomas are independent risk factors for weaker CYLD expression. Kaplan-Meier analysis illustrated that negative or low CYLD expression is statistically significantly associated with increased death risk, compared to moderate or high expression.

This study demonstrates for the first time a clear correlation between CYLD expression and clinicohistopathological parameters of endometrial carcinoma patients, suggesting its use as a potential prognostic/predictive marker for Endometrial Carcinoma.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Diamour®, a newly developed vitrification device, for the ultra-rapid frozen storage of human blastocysts.

Surplus blastocysts obtained using assisted reproductive technology at our clinic during a 2-year period (2018-2019) were assigned for vitrification with the Diamour® device in 2019 or a comparator device in 2018. We retrospectively compared outcomes (clinical pregnancy rate, abortion rate, live birth rate, and perinatal outcomes) between the two vitrification devices.

We obtained 228 blastocysts from 178 patients, and 118 blastocysts were cryopreserved using the Diamour® vitrification device and the other 110 were cryopreserved using a Cryotop®, the comparator device. We found no significant difference between the Diamour®-vitrified and comparator-vitrified blastocysts in clinical pregnancy rate (32.2% vs. 30.9%; p=0.83), abortion rate (17.0% vs. 9.1%; p=0.08), and live birth rate (25.4% vs. 26.4%; p=0.87). The Diamour®-vitrified blastocysts yielded 30 live births, and the comparator-vitrified blastocysts 29. The two devices yielded no significant difference in birth weight (Diamour® 3049±337g, comparator 3008±340g; p=0.65) and congenital abnormalities, with just 1 case (cleft lip) noted with Diamour® vitrification (p=0.33). The devices also showed no significant differences in the incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, placenta previa, preterm birth, macrosomia, low birth weight, and delivery method.

The Diamour® device achieves outcomes similar to those of the currently widely used Cryotop® device for clinical pregnancy with frozen-thawed human blastocysts.

To investigate whether the rate of euploidy and pregnancy outcomes are affected by smooth endoplasmic reticulum clusters (SERc) and other metaphase II human oocyte dysmorphisms.

Retrospective analysis of the morphologies of metaphase II (MII) human oocytes, which had developed into 590 biopsied blastocysts derived from 109 patients that received preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidies (PGT-A) cycles between March 2013 and December 2017. The euploid rate of blastocysts that originated from morphologically abnormal or normal oocytes were analyzed. The chromosome status of the blastocysts was determined and analyzed by array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) or next generation sequencing (NGS) following trophectoderm biopsy.

According to the odds ratios obtained for each oocyte morphotype, no statistically significant relationship was found between oocyte dysmorphisms and euploid rate. Specifically, although SERc-positive oocytes had a higher rate of arrest at two pronuclei, or 2PN (26.7% v and euploid rate. Thus, the embryos derived from SERc-positive oocytes could still be considered for embryo transfer if there are no other embryos available.Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a common gynecological urinary system disease, and globally, 200 million or more people suffer from it. However, the existing literature mostly focuses on postpartum urinary incontinence (UI) or UI in middle-aged and elderly people, with little focus on primiparas. To analyse urinary incontinence prevalence and its risk factors in primiparas and establish a nomogram prediction model, 360 parturients were recruited from three hospitals between April and September 2021. A homemade electronic questionnaire was used to investigate the general demographic and perinatal characteristics of primiparas. The SUI was diagnosed by the physicians. Logistic regression analysis of independent risk factors for SUI and a nomogram prediction model were established. Ninety people were diagnosed as SUI. The number of pregnancies (OR = 3.322, 95% CI = 1.473-7.492), residence (OR = 5.451, 95% CI = 2.725-10.903), occupation (OR = 3.393, 95% CI = 1.144-10.064), education level (OR = 3.551, 95% CI = 1.223-10.308), delivery method (OR = 10.270, 95% CI = 4.090-25.789), and oxytocin use (OR = 2.166, 95% CI = 1.142-4.109) were independent risk factors for SUI. The C-index of the nomogram prediction model was 0.798 (95% CI = 0.749-0.846). The POPDI score, CRADI score, UDI score, and PFDI scores of women with SUI were significantly higher than those of non-SUI women, while I-QOL scores were significantly lower than those of non-SUI women. In conclusion, the prevalence of SUI among primiparas in Fuyang, China, was 25.00%, which exhibited a large impact on the quality of life of puerperae. The present study successfully established an individualized nomogram prediction model of SUI for primiparas with good discrimination and diagnostic efficiency, which was helpful for the early clinical identification of high-risk primiparas with SUI.
