For this purpose, we carried out an electronic survey using Pubmed's Veterinary Science search tool to conduct a systematic assessment of published studies reporting the prevalence of different strains of coronavirus in different animal species between 2015 and 2020. We conducted different analysis to assess sensitivity, publication bias, and heterogeneity, using random effect. The final meta-analysis included 42 studies for systematic review and 29 in the meta-analysis. For the geographic regions with a prevalence greater than or equal to 0.20 (Forest plot overall; prevalence = 0.20, p less then 0.01, Q = 10,476.22 and I2 = 100%), the most commonly detected viruses were enteric coronavirus (ECoV), pigeon-dominant coronavirus, (PdCoV), Avian coronavirus M41, Avian coronavirus C46, Avian coronavirus A99, Avian coronavirus JMK, MERS-CoV, Bovine coronavirus, Ro-BatCoV GCCDC1, Alphacoronavirus, Betacoronavirus, Deltacoronavirus, Gamacoronavirus and human coronaviruses (HCoVs). Here, we investigated microbiomes, virulence factor genes (VFGs) of bacterial pathogens, and resistomes in environmental feces of Eurasian otters (Lutra lutra) and leopard cats (Prionailurus bengalensis) using shotgun metagenome sequencing. this website As expected, the taxonomic compositions of bacteria were significantly different between the animals. Importantly, we found that the compositions of ARGs were also significantly different between the animals. We detected ARGs including iri, tetA(P), tetB(P), floR, sulII, strA, strB, tetW and tetY. Some of them were significantly more abundant in either of the host animals, such as strA, strB and tetY in Eurasian otters, and tetA(P), tetW and iri in leopard cats. We also found that some ARGs were selectively correlated to particular VFGs-related bacteria, such as tetA(P) and tetB(P) to Clostridium, and iri to Mycobacterium. We also found that there were positive correlations between Acinetobacter and ARGs of multiple antimicrobial classes. The host-specific resistomes and VFGs-related bacteria may be due to differences in the host's gut microbiome, diet and/or habitat, but further investigation is needed. Overall, this study provided important baseline information about the resistomes of the wildlife in Korea, which may help the conservation of these endangered species and assessment of human health risks posed by ARGs and bacterial pathogens from wildlife.

We used network analysis to investigate the complex associations between depressive symptoms and patient activation dimensions among patients at elevated risk of cardiovascular disease.

This secondary analysis included 200 patients seen in primary care clinics. Depressive symptoms were assessed using the 21-item Beck Depression Inventory. Patient activation was measured using the 13-item Patient Activation Measure. Glasso networks were constructed to identify symptoms/traits that bridge depressive symptoms and patient activation and those that are central within the network.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many companies have instituted work from home (WFH) policies in accordance with public health guidelines in order to increase social distancing and decrease the spread of COVID-19. As the pandemic and WFH-related policies have continued for more than a year, there has been a rise in people becoming accustomed to the remote environments; however, others are more enthusiastic about returning to in-person work environments, reflecting the desire to restore pre-pandemic environments. As working from home is related to transportation issues such as changing commuting patterns and decreased congestion, motorized trips, and emission, there is a need to explore the extent of public attitudes on this important issue. This study used unique open-source survey data that provides substantial information on this topic. Using an advanced categorical data analysis method known as cluster correspondence analysis, this study identified several key findings. Not having prior WFH experiences, being eager to interact with colleagues, difficulties with adapting to virtual meeting technologies, and challenges with self-discipline while WFH were strongly associated with individuals who refused to continuously WFH at all after the pandemic. Individuals holding a strong view against the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic were also largely associated with never choosing WFH during and after the pandemic. For individuals with some prior WFH experiences, the transition to WFH every day in response to the outbreak was much easier, compared to those without prior experiences. Moreover, being forced to WFH during the COVID-19 pandemic positively influences the choice of WFH after the pandemic. The findings of this study will be beneficial to help policymakers and sustainable city planners understand public opinions about WFH.

Limited data exist on pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) using cryoballoon (CB) or radiofrequency (RF) ablation and additional non-pulmonary vein trigger ablation for non-paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (non-PAF). We aimed to assess the outcomes of first-stage catheter ablation for non-PAF patients.

Initial PVI was performed on 734 non-PAF patients (age 64±10years; male 584 (80%)) between September 2014 and June 2018 [315 (43%), CB ablation; 419 (57%), RF catheter]. A logistic regression model was used to match 257 pairs (514 patients) according to the propensity scores (CB or RF group). After PVI, additional non-PV trigger ablation was performed if induced by isoproterenol. We analysed the clinical outcomes of both groups.
