Although the COVID-19 pandemic has quickly prompted medical schools and students around the world to transition from their traditional classrooms to web-based learning, the global crisis has inspired the development of innovative e-learning solutions that use existing technology and other web-based tools to continue nurturing the education of medical students while ensuring the public health and safety of both students and faculty members alike. Through the perspective of medical students, we share how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted and transformed small team-based learning in medical education; changed objective structured clinical exam evaluations and the practice of clinical skills through telemedicine; and nurtured nationwide, web-based, student-led initiatives for community outreach, telehealth, and medical services.
Self-management of prediabetic patients is crucial since they are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Mobile health (mHealth) apps could contribute to potentially reducing the burden of diabetes by supporting the self-management of prediabetic patients.
This study aimed to explore the constituent elements of a successful mHealth intervention for prediabetic patients in King Saud University Medical City (KSUMC) hospitals in Saudi Arabia using the Centre for eHealth Research (CeHRes) roadmap.
This study used the CeHRes roadmap as a developmental guideline for proposing mHealth app features for self-management of prediabetic patients and was performed in 3 phases with one round in each phase. First, a contextual inquiry was conducted via an online self-administered questionnaire for both health care providers and patients. Second, the value specification phase elaborated on the outcomes from the contextual inquiry phase. Finally, prototype user design was performed in cocreation with end users. Thelopment of an mHealth app for a diabetes prevention intervention by involving both health care providers and prediabetic patients in KSUMC hospitals. Therefore, the proposed app, which comprises all necessary features, may aid patients with prediabetes in self-management and making changes in their lifestyle.By applying advanced health information technology to the health care field, health informatization helps optimize health resource allocation, improve health care services, and realize universal health coverage. COVID-19 has tested the status quo of China's health informatization, revealing challenges to the health care system. This viewpoint evaluates the development, status quo, and practice of China's health informatization, especially during COVID-19, and makes recommendations to address the health informatization challenges. We collected, assessed, and evaluated data on the development of China's health informatization from five perspectives-health information infrastructure, information technology (IT) applications, financial and intellectual investment, health resource allocation, and standard system-and discussed the status quo of the internet plus health care service pattern during COVID-19. The main data sources included China's policy documents and national plans on health informatization, commercirmatization, China's health informatization needs to strengthen top-level design, increase investment and training, upgrade the health infrastructure and IT applications, and improve internet plus health care services.

The purpose of this study is to apply 3D hologram with mixed reality techniques for better understanding the pulmonary lesions of COVID-19.
The study involved 60 participants, including 20 radiologists, 20 surgeons , and 20 medical students. Each of the three groups was randomly divided into two groups, 2D CT group (N=30; mean age 29 years [rang 19-38]; men= 20) and 3D holographic group (N=30; mean age 30 years [range 20-38]; men= 20). Two groups completed the same task to identify 6 cases of the lesion area of COVID-19 with a 2D CT or 3D hologram of the lung. Finally, an independent radiology professor rated the participants' performance (out of 100). All participants in two groups completed a Likert-scale questionnaire regarding the educational utility and efficiency of 3D holr "mental", "temporal", "performance" and "frustration" than usual 2D CT support.
A 3D hologram with mixed reality techniques can be used for better understanding the pulmonary lesions of COVID-19, especially for medical students and young doctors who are newly hired. It can be used in medical education, increasing interest, making it easier to understand, better spatial awareness and lowering the learning curve.

There is still an HIV epidemic in the United States, which is a substantial issue for populations bearing a disproportionate burden of HIV infections. Daily oral pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) has proven to be safe and effective in reducing HIV acquisition risk. However, studies document that PrEP awareness/usage is low. There is also limited understanding of social media platforms, such as Instagram, as PrEP information sources.
Given the paucity of research on PrEP-related Instagram posts and popularity of this social media platform, the purpose of this research is to describe the source characteristics, image types, and textual contents of PrEP-related posts on Instagram.
Using Crowdtangle Search, a public insights tool owned/operated by Facebook, we retrieved publicly accessible and English-language-only Instagram posts for the 12-month period preceding April 22, 2020, using the following terms Truvada or "pre-exposure prophylaxis" or #truvada or #truvadaprep or #truvadawhore or #truvadaforprep. Wel media platforms and provides a foundation for developing and implementing PrEP promotion interventions on Instagram.
This study is among the first to review Instagram for PrEP-related content, and it answers the National AIDS Strategy's call for a clearer articulation of the science surrounding HIV risk/prevention through better understanding of the current public information environment. This study offers a snapshot of how PrEP is being discussed (and by whom) on one of the most popular social media platforms and provides a foundation for developing and implementing PrEP promotion interventions on Instagram.
