In contrast, faecal BA increase was driven by secondary unconjugated BA's (predominately deoxycholic acid [DCA]). Serum GCA levels and faecal DCA levels correlated with the abundance of Bacteroidaceae and Lachnospiraceae, and stool secondary BAs with an unclassifiable family of the order Bacteroidales (Bacteroidales;other). These bacterial taxa were also associated with advanced fibrosis. Spauligodon aspiculus was observed to infect 19 geckos with 63.33% as a prevalence of parasitic infection. The present nematode species is separated from congeners by morphological and metrical characteristics such as lateral alae, aspinose filamentous tail, and no spicule, and three pairs of caudal papillae with posterior pair excluded from envelopment by the caudal alae in the male worms, and knobbed eggs, and postbulbar vulva in females. It compared morphometrically with other Spauligodon species described previously and showed few differences in measurements. Molecular characterization based on the partial 28S rRNA nuclear ribosomal gene sequence showed that there was a close identity, up to 72%, with other sequences retrieved from GenBank. Phylogenetic analysis showed that the parasite sequence in conjunction with existing data facilitates the investigation of the placement of this pharyngodonid species within Oxyuridae. The present species is deeply embedded in the genus Spauligodon with close relationships to previously described Spauligodon nicolauensis (gb| JN619349.1, and JF829243.1) as more related sister taxa. OBJECTIVES This study aims to examine the applicability of a multidimensional Everyday Health Information Literacy (EHIL) screening tool in detecting people with challenges in accessing, understanding, evaluating and using health information in everyday situations. METHODS Previously collected EHIL screening tool data from Finnish upper secondary school students (n = 217), Finnish young men (n = 1450), Finnish adults with an increased risk for metabolic syndrome (n = 559) and Namibian university students (n = 271) were reanalysed to examine the factorial structure of the tool and to compare the groups. Statistical analyses included exploratory factor analyses, calculation of mean factor scores and one-way analysis of variance. RESULTS A three factor structure ('awareness', 'access', 'assessment') for the screening tool was supported based on the Finnish samples. However, the Namibian data did not follow a similar structure. Significant differences in groupwise factor scores were discovered. DISCUSSION The findings suggest that the multidimensional EHIL screening tool can be used in pointing out areas where individuals or groups may need support. While librarians are ideally placed to provide training in writing for publication and presentation of research, very few in the United Kingdom appear to be doing so. However, there are clear benefits to teaching these subjects. Based on feedback from faculty on user needs, the University of Cambridge Medical Library's training programme was expanded to include training and support in the publication and presentation of research outputs. This article recounts the process by which the new courses were developed, and the techniques used by the library's teaching staff to gain understanding of conventions and requirements of forms of written communication with which they were unfamiliar. It also evaluates the impact of the new courses, discusses next steps and provides advice for other librarians wishing to develop similar courses. D.I. © 2020 Health Libraries Group.Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a pandemic since March 2020. We describe here 2 cases of COVID-19 infection in a posttransplant setting. First one is a 59-year-old renal transplant recipient; the second is a 51-year-old allogeneic bone marrow transplant recipient. Both patients were on immunosuppressant therapy and had stable graft function before COVID-19 infection. After the diagnosis of COVID-19, immunosuppressive agents were discontinued and methylprednisolone with prophylactic antibiotics were initiated, however, the lung injury progressed. The T cells were extremely low in both patients after infection. Both patients died despite the maximal mechanical ventilatory support. Therefore, the prognosis of COVID-19 pneumonia following transplantation is not optimistic and remains guarded. Lower T cell count may be a surrogate for poor outcome. © 2020 The American Society of Transplantation and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
