Experimental realization of the resulting controller, implemented through resistor-capacitor (RC) circuits and operational amplifiers (OPAMPs) in adder configuration, confirms its effectiveness and viability.The experimental electron density distribution (EDD) of 1-methyluracil (1-MUR) was obtained by single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD) experiments at 23 K. The derived electrostatic properties neither depend on the details of the multipole model, nor are significantly affected by the explicit inclusion of anharmonicity in the least-squares model. The distribution of atomic charges in 1-MUR is not affected by the crystal environment in a significant way. Osteoporosis (OP) is a systemic disease that is characterized by decreased bone density and quality.

The purpose of this systematic review was to determine the effects of muscle strengthening exercise in postmenopausal women with OP.

A literature search was conducted systematically in MEDLINE, CINAHL, EMBASE databases for human studies up to 31 March 2021. Two researchers screened the articles against predefined inclusion criteria; a third resolved discrepancies. Articles were included if they assessed the effects of muscle strengthening exercise in postmenopausal women with OP. The protocol for this systematic review was registered on PROSPERO (CRD42021207917) and a qualitative systematic review was carried out following the PRISMA statement. Methodological quality was evaluated through the scientific validity scales PEDro. Finally, RTCs and NRCTs risk of bias was assessed with the Cochrane risk of bias tool (Risk of Bias-ROB 2.0) and ROBINS-1, respectively.

A total of 16 studies (1028 subjects) that met the different eligibility criteria previously established were selected. There is evidence of good methodological quality and a low to moderate risk of bias that supports that muscle strengthening exercise alone or in combination with other therapeutic modalities improves BMD (9,

= 401) in proximal femur and lumbar vertebra body, muscle strength (10,

= 558), balance (4,

= 159), functionality (7,

= 617), and quality of life (5,

= 291).

Children of parents with limited health literacy are at increased risk of illness and longer recovery periods. The research at the Quality of Life Research Centre is aimed at studying the health literacy of ethnic Hungarian mothers in Eastern Europe (Hungary, Slovakia, Romania) as well as at assessing its socioeconomic and demographic antecedents. The sample size is 894 mothers. Our standardized online questionnaire includes the HLS-EU-16 and the BHLS questions, with the latter intended to screen for inadequate health literacy. Predictors of health literacy in mothers are socioeconomic status, age and partnership status. A key finding is the improvement of health literacy with age. Assessing the association of partnership status and health literacy is a novelty in this region. Our analysis reinforces the role of socioeconomic capital, widely recognized to be associated with health literacy in general and with parental health literacy in particular. Results indicate the necessity of improving caregiver health literacy with a range of health promotional activities in Eastern Europe, especially among mothers with low socioeconomic status. To enhance the solubility of ibuprofen (IBU), a poorly water-soluble drug, we attempted to adsorb IBU onto spherical porous calcium silicate (Florite® PS300, PS300) in two ways the evaporation (EV) and sealed heating (SH) methods. The crystallinity of the samples was evaluated using powder X-ray diffraction analysis (PXRD) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The molecular interaction between IBU and PS300 was evaluated with FTIR. In addition, the dissolution behavior of IBU in the samples was assessed by the dissolution test. Based on the results of the PXRD and DSC measurements, both methods allowed adsorption of IBU onto PS300, and IBU was amorphized. Based on the FTIR observations, in the SH or EV mixtures containing 10% and 30% IBU, respectively, it seemed that the IBU molecules intermolecularly interacted with calcium molecules as the main component of PS300. Improvement in the solubility of IBU was observed with both methods; however, the dissolution rate of IBU from samples prepared via SH was higher than that from EV, or of IBU crystals.
