gastric cancer to compare the effects of postoperative prophylactic HIPEC plus intravenous chemotherapy with those of routine adjuvant chemotherapy. Preoperative neoadjuvant chemoradiation therapy (NACRT) is applied for resectable pancreatic cancer (RPC). To maximize the efficacy of NACRT, it is essential to ensure the accurate placement of fiducial markers for image-guided radiation. However, no standard method for delivering fiducial markers has been established to date, and the nature of RPC during NACRT remains unclear.

To determine the feasibility, safety and benefits of endoscopic ultrasound-guided (EUS) fiducial marker placement in patients with RPC.

This was a prospective case series of 29 patients (mean age, 67.5 years; 62.1% male) with RPC referred to our facility for NACRT. Under EUS guidance, a single gold marker was placed into the tumor using either a 19- or 22-gauge fine-needle aspiration needle. The differences in daily marker positioning were measured by comparing simulation computed tomography and treatment computed tomography.

Although the role of p53 in the evolution and prognosis of gastric cancer (GC) has been extensively examined, the exact mechanism of action is incompletely understood. The data of 48 patients with anal canal squamous cells carcinoma, observed at our University Hospital between 2007 and 2017, who underwent pre-treatment assessment with pelvic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), total body computed tomography (CT) scan and endoanal US were retrospectively reviewed. To explore the expression of P62 and NF-κB in pancreatic cancer and their relationship with clinicopathological features.

The expression levels of P62 and NF-κB were analyzed by immunohistochemistry with a tissue chip containing 40 cases of human pancreatic carcinoma. Then we analyzed the correlation among P62 expression, phospho-P65 expression, and clinicopathological features of pancreatic carcinoma samples.

P62 expression was mainly observed in the cytoplasm of pancreatic carcinoma cells. Phosphorylated P65 (phospho-P65) was mainly expressed in the nucleus and cytoplasm of pancreatic carcinoma cells. There was a significant difference in P62 expression among T stages. And a significant difference in phosphor-P65 expression among pathology types was noted. In the cases with strongly positive P62 expression, significant differences were found in age. And there were significant differences in T stage and tumor-node-metastasis stage in the cases with strongly positive phosphor-P65 expression.

In 2019 this major change subsequently extended to NENs involving the entire digestive tract. The updated version of the pNENs grading system marks a growing awareness of these heterogeneous tumors. This review discusses the clinicopathological, genetic and therapeutic features of poorly differentiated pNECs and compare them to those of well-differentiated pNETs G3. For pNETs G3 and pNECs (due to their lower incidence), there are still many problems to be investigated.
