The influences of different microcapsule concentrations on the reversible thermochromic, optical, mechanical and liquid resistance properties of the primer films were investigated. Not only were the morphology and structure of microcapsules and films observed, but also the chemical compositions of the microcapsules and films were analyzed. The results showed that for the primer film with microcapsules, the microcapsule concentration had a more significant influence on color difference. The primer film with microcapsules can achieve thermochromic reversibility. The temperature of color change was 32 °C and it had a good color recovery. The film gloss was negatively correlated with the microcapsule concentration, and the film with 5.0%-15.0% concentration had the best gloss. Adding an appropriate concentration of microcapsules can effectively improve the mechanical properties of the film. The study aimed to evaluate sleep quality in IBD patients and to identify factors affecting their sleep. IBD patients (n = 133) and healthy controls (HC; n = 57) were included in the study and completed sleep questionnaires (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Athens insomnia scale (AIS), and Epworth sleepiness scale (ESS)), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), and pain scales (Visual Analogue Scale and Laitinen Pain Scale). IBD patients attained higher scores in all sleep questionnaires compared to HC PSQI, AIS, and ESS (all p less then 0.001). They also had prolonged sleep latency (p less then 0.001) with reduced sleep efficiency (p less then 0.001). Patients in exacerbation of IBD had higher scores in PSQI (p = 0.008), ESS (p = 0.009), but not in AIS, compared to those in remission. Participants with comorbid chronic diseases had higher scores in PSQI and AIS, but not in ESS, compared to others. Methods Urine samples were collected from 19 CF patients (among those 7 were treated by cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) modulators), and 8 healthy subjects. Urine exosomal protein content was determined by high resolution mass spectrometry. Results A heatmap of the differentially expressed proteins in urinary exosomes showed a clear separation between control and CF patients. Seventeen proteins were upregulated in CF patients (including epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR); proteasome subunit beta type-6, transglutaminases, caspase 14) and 118 were downregulated (including glutathione S-transferases, superoxide dismutase, klotho, endosomal sorting complex required for transport, and matrisome proteins). Gene set enrichment analysis revealed 20 gene sets upregulated and 74 downregulated. Treatment with CFTR modulators yielded no significant modification of the proteomic content. These results highlight that CF kidney cells adapt to the CFTR defect by upregulating proteasome activity and that autophagy and endosomal targeting are impaired. Increased expression of EGFR and decreased expression of klotho and matrisome might play a central role in this CF kidney signature by inducing oxidation, inflammation, accelerated senescence, and abnormal tissue repair. Conclusions Our study unravels novel insights into consequences of CFTR dysfunction in the urinary tract, some of which may have clinical and therapeutic implications.

The aim of the present study was to obtain an overview of occupational safety culture by assessing and mapping determinants in different workplaces (hospital workplaces and workplaces in construction, manufacturing, and other industry sectors) using an already established theoretical framework with seven clusters developed by Cornelissen and colleagues. We further derived implications for further research on determinants of occupational safety culture for the hospital workplace by comparing the hospital workplace with other workplaces.

We conducted an integrative literature review and searched systematically for studies in four research databases (PubMed, Web of Science, CINAHL, and PsycINFO). The search was undertaken in 2019, and updated in April 2020. Results of the included studies were analyzed and mapped to the seven clusters proposed by Cornelissen and colleagues.

After screening 5566 hits, 44 studies were included. Among these, 17 studies were conducted in hospital workplaces and 27 were performng to address determinants that have been less studied so far to gain a more comprehensive picture of important determinants of an occupational safety culture in the hospital sector.

The theoretical framework used was helpful in classifying various determinants from studies at different workplaces. By comparing and contrasting results of studies investigating determinants at the hospital workplace with those addressing other workplaces, it was possible to derive implications for further research, especially for the hospital sector. To date, many determinants for occupational safety culture known from workplaces outside of the healthcare system have not been addressed in studies covering hospital workplaces. For further studies in the hospital workplace, it may be promising to address determinants that have been less studied so far to gain a more comprehensive picture of important determinants of an occupational safety culture in the hospital sector.We investigated the effects of various high-k gate dielectrics as well as microwave annealing (MWA) calcination and a postcalcination oxygen plasma treatment on the electrical properties and stability of electrospun indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO)-nanofiber (NF)-based field-effect transistors (FETs). We found that the higher the dielectric constant of the gate dielectric, the better the electric field is transferred, resulting in the better performance of the IGZO NF FET. In addition, the MWA-calcined IGZO NF FET was superior to the conventional furnace annealing-calcined device in terms of the electrical properties of the device and the operation of resistor-loaded inverter, and it was proved that the oxygen plasma treatment further improved the performance. The results of the gate bias temperature stress test confirmed that the MWA calcination process and postcalcination oxygen plasma treatment greatly improved the stability of the IGZO NF FET by reducing the number of defects and charge traps. This verified that the MWA calcination process and oxygen plasma treatment effectively remove the organic solvent and impurities that act as charge traps in the chemical analysis of NF using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
