eseli will be meaningful for further study and the current taxonomic system of Seseli needs to be revised. In summary, our study can provide new insights into the phylogenetic relationships and taxonomic framework of Seseli.Although evidence suggests that helicopter parenting causes emotional problems in emerging adults, how emotional problems in emerging adults affect helicopter parenting and the mediating role of autonomy in reciprocal relationships is little known. Therefore, this study collected data from 418 Chinese university students (80.1% female; Mage = 18.71, SD = 1.15) three times (in the second, fourth, and fourteenth months after enrollment) about perceived helicopter parenting, emotional issues (anxiety and depressive symptoms), and autonomy. The results of the cross-lagged panel models showed that emotional problems in emerging adults predicted the later assessment of helicopter parenting, the reverse relationship between the two variables was not the case. Emerging adults' emotional issues at Time 1 reduced their autonomy at Time 2, leading to increased helicopter parenting behaviors at Time 3. However, helicopter parenting at Time 1 did not affect emerging adults' autonomy at Time 2, which also had no relation to their emotional problems at Time 3. These findings suggest that helicopter parenting is more likely a reaction to maladjustment in emerging adults than an influencing factor. The research clarifies changes in parent-child interactions during the transition to adulthood and will help promote the adaptation of emerging adults in college. The effect of the presence of gasoline and diesel on the speciation and mobility of inorganic arsenic species in tropical topsoils was investigated. Topsoil samples (n = 25) were contaminated with gasoline and diesel (500 mg kg-1) in laboratory and were incubated under unsaturated conditions and regular aeration for 21 days. Speciation analysis and chemical fractionation were performed in the pore water from control, gasoline, and diesel-contaminated soil samples. Arsenic concentrations were compared to microbiological parameters (microbial metabolic quotient and soil basal breathing) and the presence of ArsM-harboring bacteria. The spike of gasoline and diesel to the topsoils increased pore water As3+ (H3AsO3) concentration. Arsenic mobilization was lower compared to previously reported data for other sources of organic matter (biochar, litter, and a mixture of sphagnum peat moss and composted poultry manure). However, gasoline or diesel addition mobilized As fractions that were adsorbed to the solid phase, in approximately 60% of the soils. Methylation presented an important role in the As3+ regulation in control soils, which was no longer observed after gasoline or diesel addition. The quantification of the labile fractions sampled by the diffusive gradients in thin films technique showed that the increased As concentration in the gasoline or diesel-contaminated soils mostly included inert species. Dissolved organic carbon content seems to be an important control mechanism of the labile As concentration. The increase in As mobility seems to pose a more concerning scenario due to As leaching than to plant uptake.Pediatric social anxiety is characterized by attentional biases (AB) towards social threats. This study used a new response-based calculation method to assess AB from response times (RT) in a visual dot-probe task and electroencephalography (EEG) to explore its electrophysiological correlates. Twenty, high socially anxious children (HSA) (mean [M ] = 10.1 years; standard deviation [SD] = 1.01) were compared with 22 healthy control children (HC) (M = 10.20 years; SD = 1.30) matched in age and gender. Participants had to identify targets preceded by disgust-neutral, happy-neutral, or neutral-neutral pairs of faces. RT and electroencephalograms were recorded throughout the task. While no significant group difference was found at the behavioral level, principal component analyses performed on EEG data revealed that event-related potentials for threat-related stimuli were impacted by social anxiety. Analyses indicated a larger N170 amplitude in response to all facial stimuli in HC when compared to the HSA. However, we found increased P2 amplitudes for disgust-neutral pairs compared with happy-neutral pairs in has only. find more Then, thasHSA group showed increased P2 amplitudes for targets following disgusted faces on the opposite side of the screen compared with targets appearing on the same side of the screen. These results suggest that HSA may display an increased anchorage of attention on threatening stimuli and need more effort to disengage their attentional focus from threats and to perform the task correctly. Taken together, our data confirmed the presence of AB in children with high levels of social anxiety, which are reflected by increased neural processing during the confrontation to faces depicting a potential threatening expression.Restorative proctocolectomy with ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA) has become standard surgical treatment of choice in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) and familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) in which the medical management fails. Despite the wide use of laparoscopic method, the enhanced and innovative features that come with the robotic platform, such as endo-wrist technology, 3D visualization, surgeon-controlled camera and motion scaling, make it an appealing choice. This study aims to investigate the feasibility and safety of robotic approach for proctectomy or proctocolectomy with IPAA as compared to conventional laparoscopic approach. A systematic review was completed for studies done between 2010 and 2022 comparing the robotic approach with the laparoscopic approach. Nine studies were found to be feasible to be included in this review. In terms of the outcomes, although the mean operating time was slightly higher than the laparoscopic approach, the other outcomes, such as mean blood loss, return of the bowel movement, mean hospital stay, and conversion to open, were found to be significantly lower in the robotic approach as compared to both laparoscopic and conventional open techniques. Despite the overall increased rate of complications combined from all the studies, the rate of significant complications such as anastomotic leaks requiring readmission and return to theater was also found to be substantially less. This study concludes that although robotic approach is in its initial stages for pelvic surgeries, it can be safely employed due to improved dexterity and visibility.Long-term oncologic data on patients undergoing robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) for non-metastatic bladder cancer (BCa) are limited. The purpose of this study is to describe long-term oncologic outcomes of patients receiving robotic radical cystectomy at a high-volume European Institution. We analyzed data of 107 patients treated with RARC between 2003 and 2012 at a high-volume robotic center. Clinical, pathologic, and survival data at the latest follow-up were collected. Clinical recurrence (CR)-free survival, cancer-specific mortality (CSM)-free survival, and overall survival (OS) were plotted using Kaplan-Meier survival curves. Cox proportional hazard models investigated predictors of CR and CSM. Competing-risk regressions were utilized to depict cumulative incidences of death from BCa and death from other causes after RARC at long term. Pathologic nonorgan-confined BCa was found in 40% of patients, and 7 (7%) patients had positive soft tissue surgical margins. Median (interquartile range [IQR]) number of nodes removed was 11 (6, 14), and 26% of patients had pN + disease. Median (IQR) follow-up for survivors was 123 (117, 149) months. The 12-year CR-free, CSM-free and overall survival were 55% (95% confidence interval [CI] 44%, 65%), 62% (95% CI 50%, 72%), and 34% (95% CI 24%, 44%), respectively. Nodal involvement on final pathology was associated with poor prognosis on multivariable competing risk analysis. The cumulative incidence of non-cancer death exceeded that of death from BCa after approximately ten years after RARC. We provided relevant data on oncologic outcomes of RARC at a high-volume robotic center, with acceptable rates of clinical recurrence and cancer-specific survival at long-term. In patients treated with RARC, the cumulative incidence of death from causes other than BCa is non-negligible, and should be taken into consideration for post-operative follow-up.MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are recognized as latent diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic biomarkers for endometrial carcinoma (EC). We attempted to discuss function and mechanism of miR-125b-5p in EC cell progression. This study manifested a decreased miR-125b-5p level and an increased mitochondrial fission process 1 (MTFP1) level in EC, and there was an inverse correlation between them. Moreover, in vitro assays were performed. The results denoted that miR-125b-5p could target a putative binding site on MTFP1 3'UTR to reduce MTFP1 expression, thereby repressing cell malignant behaviors. Besides, the promoting impact of MTFP1 overexpression on malignant phenotypes of EC cells could be restored by miR-125b-5p up-regulation. Considering, our investigation exhibited that miR-125b-5p curbed EC cell malignant phenotypes through targeting MTFP1. This study generates a fresh functional mechanism for EC occurrence and progression, which also lays the groundwork for clinical therapies.Multi-drug efflux is one of the resistant determinants in Klebsiella pneumoniae that are encountered in a broad range of clinically relevant antimicrobial agents. An alternative method to strategically induce sensitivity in drug-resistant K. pneumoniae and improve the efficacy of the existing antibiotics is the need of the hour. Hence, an antisense RNA was designed against the acrA gene of the AcrAB-TolC efflux system in a drug-resistant isolate of K. pneumoniae obtained from a blood culture. Minimum inhibitory concentration by E test demonstrated that the antisense RNA could significantly increase the susceptibility of previously resistant K. pneumoniae toward ciprofloxacin (CIP) and co-trimoxazole. Real-time PCR determined the ability of the antisense RNA to inhibit the expression of the acrA-mRNA. The wild-type K. pneumoniae showed increased growth in the presence of CIP, while, under the same condition, the growth of the antisense RNA-treated K. pneumoniae was inhibited up till 12 h. In the presence of co-trimoxazole, delayed growth rate of the antisense RNA-treated K. pneumoniae was seen, in comparison to that of the wild-type K. pneumoniae and also a fourfold reduction was noted in the expression of the efflux gene acrA. Our results underscore the potential of the acrA antisense RNA as an alternative therapeutic against multi-drug-resistant K. pneumoniae.Dengue is a rapidly spreading viral disease transmitted to humans by Aedes mosquitoes. Due to global urbanization and climate change, the number of dengue cases are gradually increasing in recent decades. Hence, an early prediction of dengue continues to be a major concern for public health in countries with high prevalence of dengue. Creating a robust forecast model for the accurate prediction of dengue is a complex task and can be done through various data modelling approaches. In the present study, we have applied vector auto regression, generalized boosted models, support vector regression, and long short-term memory (LSTM) to predict the dengue prevalence in Kerala state of the Indian subcontinent. We consider the number of dengue cases as the target variable and weather variables viz., relative humidity, soil moisture, mean temperature, precipitation, and NINO3.4 as independent variables. Various analytical models have been applied on both datasets and predicted the dengue cases. Among all the models, the LSTM model was outperformed with superior prediction capability (RMSE 0.
