The reproducibility of Neurite orientation dispersion and density imaging (NODDI) metrics from time-saving multiband (MB) EPI compared with singleband (SB) has not been considered. This study aims to evaluate the reproducibility of NODDI parameters from SB and MB acquisitions, determine the agreement between acquisitions and estimate the sample sizes required to detect between-group change.

Brain diffusion MRI data were acquired using SB and MB (acceleration factors 2 (MB2) and 3 (MB3)) on 8 healthy subjects on 2 separate visits. NODDI maps of isotropic volume fraction (FISO), neurite density (NDI) and orientation dispersion index (ODI) were estimated. Region-of-interest analysis was performed; variability across subjects and visits was measured using coefficients of variation (CoV). Intraclass correlation coefficient and Bland-Altman analysis were performed to assess reproducibility and detect any systematic bias between SB, MB2 and MB3. Power calculations were used to determine sample sizes required to detect group differences.

Both NDI and ODI were reproducible between visits; however, FISO was variable. All parameters were not reproducible across methods; a systematic bias was observed with the derived values decreasing as the MB factor increases. The number of subjects needed to detect a between-group change is not significantly different between methods; however, ODI needs considerably higher sample sizes than NDI.

Despite various national and international political initiatives for promoting physical activity at the population level, the development of effective interventions for physical activity promotion remains achallenge. In this context, there is agrowing interest in participatory approaches that actively involve central setting actors in the development of specific measures.

This article reports on the experience made by the Capital4Health research consortium while using aparticipatory approach called "cooperative planning" to increase capabilities for physical activity across different age groups.

Capital4Health employed the cooperative planning approach in the childcare, school, vocational training (car mechatronics and nursing), and community setting (with afocus on men50+). While the central elements of the approach were implemented in all settings, planning processes varied significantly with respect to the spectrum of involved actors, the number of participants and sessions, the specific measures deving, especially in relation to involving population groups. The disease which is caused by the virus is termed COVID-19. In most cases, it presents at first like common flu with cough and other respiratory symptoms. Nevertheless, other symptoms have been reported, such as a feeling of extreme fatigue, gastrointestinal symptoms, or acute onset of olfactory and gustatory dysfunction. Here we report a series of 10 cases (1 male, 9 females) observed between February and April 2020, with an undulating appearance and disappearance of symptoms. Weeks passed before the diagnosis was established. Symptoms resolved rapidly after treatment with hydroxychloroquine. It seems that the course of COVID-19 can be mild or moderate but with a long persistence of symptoms, and may therefore remain obscure. A group of 27 experts, including intensivists, transplant coordinators, transplant surgeons, and epidemiologists, joined a task force formed by the General Coordination Office of the National Transplant System/Brazilian Ministry of Health (CGSNT-MS), the Brazilian Association of Intensive Care Medicine (AMIB), the Brazilian Association of Organ Transplantation (ABTO), and the Brazilian Research in Intensive Care Network (BRICNet). The questions were developed within the scope of the 2011 Brazilian Guidelines for Management of Adult Potential Multiple-Organ Deceased Donors. The topics were divided into mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, endocrine-metabolic management, infection, body temperature, blood transfusion, and use of checklists. The outcomes considered for decision-making were cardiac arrest, number of organs recovered or transplanted per donor, and graft function/survival. HSP targets Rapid systematic reviews were conducted, and the quality of evidence of the recommendations was assessed using the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) system.
