In this study, we compare the sperm parameters and embryo quality between these two groups. Our data showed that the sperm parameters were similar in terms of volume, sperm concentration, sperm count, progressive motility, total motility and total motile sperm count between these two groups. Similarly, no significant differences were observed in IVF outcomes. The mean number of 2PN, cleavage-stage embryos, blastocysts, and good-quality blastocysts was 8.59 ± 4.47, 5.06 ± 3.17 and 2.08 ± 1.79 in vaccine group, 7.75 ± 4.14, 4.34 ± 3.06 and 1.74 ± 1.54 in control group, respectively. The high-quality blastocyst rate was 41.05% (218 of 531) in vaccine group and 40.03% (269 of 672) in control group (p > 0.05). In addition, no differences were observed in biochemical and clinical pregnancy rates between the two groups. While we have a great appreciation for the work conducted by the authors there are some methodological issues need to be considered. First, the period of articles included in the study, almost before 2013, implied that most follow-up days in these articles were earlier than the established date of a unified definition of IgG4-RD, 2011. Thus, it may lead to misclassification bias in the study. Second, IgG4-RD is a fibrous-inflammatory process that often involves multiple organs; however, malignant tumors related to IgG4-RD proposed in the study were only confined to four diseases. Therefore, we suggest adding subgroup analysis for more malignancies depending on the prevalence of IgG4-RD involved organs to ensure better clinical practice. Third, the causation between IgG4-RD and malignancy remains obscure currently. The time course for development in different malignancies varies significantly so that we cannot infer that malignancies discovered after IgG4-RD are directly relevant. Diabetes-related foot ulceration (DFU) has a substantial burden on both individuals and healthcare systems both globally and in Australia. There is a pressing need for updated guidelines on wound healing interventions to improve outcomes for people living with DFU. A national expert panel was convened to develop new Australian evidence-based guidelines on wound healing interventions for people with DFU by adapting suitable international guidelines to the Australian context.

The panel followed National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) procedures to adapt suitable international guidelines by the International Working Group of the Diabetic Foot (IWGDF) to the Australian context. The panel systematically screened, assessed and judged all IWGDF wound healing recommendations using ADAPTE and GRADE frameworks for adapting guidelines to decide which recommendations should be adopted, adapted or excluded in the Australian context. Each recommendation had their wording, quality of evidence, and strength stralia, and another was reworded to clarify best standard of care. Overall, five wound healing interventions have been recommended as having the evidence-based potential to improve wound healing in specific types of DFU when used in conjunction with other best standards of DFU care, including sucrose-octasulfate impregnated dressing, systemic hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure wound therapy, placental-derived products, and the autologous combined leucocyte, platelet and fibrin dressing.
