It was shown that among the studied porphyrinates, Co(III)P2 is more selective towards to L1-L3 ligands, and localization of cobalt porphyrinates in cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) micelles does not prevent the studied imidazole derivatives reversible binding. The obtained materials can be used to develop effective receptors for recognition, delivery, and prolonged release of drug compounds to the sites of their functioning. Considering that cetylpyridinium chloride is a widely used cationic biocide as a disinfectant, the designed materials may also prove to be effective antimicrobial agents.

The study of adolescents' behaviours and attitudes is crucial to define interventions for the containment of deviance and social discomfort. New ways of social interaction are crystallising violent behaviours which are moving more than ever on a virtual sphere. Bullying and cyberbullying share a common behavioural matrix that has been outlined through specific environmental and individual characteristics.

A survey carried out in Italy in 2019 on a statistical sample of 3273 students highlighted the influence of several social and individual variables on deviant phenomena. Risk and protective factors in relation to the probability of involvement in bullying and cyberbullying have been shown through a bivariate analysis and a binary logistic regression model.

The study shows that presence of stereotypes and social prejudices, tolerance to violence and high levels of self-esteem have resulted as the main risk factors. On the other hand, low levels of tolerance related to the consumption of alcohol and drugs, high levels of trust towards family and friends and being female have been identified as protective factors.

This research confirms the validity of several theories on bullying and cyberbullying phenomena. Furthermore, it identifies specific risk and protective factors and their influence on deviant behaviours, with a focus on environmental characteristics which appear as the key field of work to enhance adolescents' well-being.

The proper position of EMG sensors can improve the prosthesis's motion recognition ability. To exert the amputee's action-oriented ability and the prosthesis' control ability, the EMG spatial distribution and internal connection of the prosthetic wearer is analyzed in three kinds of movement conditions appropriate angle, excessive angle, and angle too small. Firstly, the correlation characteristics between the EMG channels are analyzed by mutual information to construct a muscle functional network. Secondly, the network's features of different movement conditions are analyzed by calculating the characteristic of nodes and evaluating the importance of nodes. Finally, the convergent cross-mapping method is applied to construct a directed network, and the critical muscle groups which can reflect the user's movement intention are determined. Experiment shows that this method can accurately determine the EMG location and simplify the distribution of EMG sensors inside the prosthetic socket. The network characteristics of key muscle groups can distinguish different movements effectively and provide a new strategy for decoding the relationship between limb nerve control and body movement. This paper reports on the synthesis and structure elucidation of track-etched membranes (TeMs) with electrolessly deposited copper microtubes (prepared in etched-only and oxidized polyethylene terephthalate (PET) TeMs), as well as on the comparative testing of arsenic (III) ion removal capacities through bath adsorption experiments. The structure and composition of composites were investigated by X-ray diffraction technique and scanning electron and atomic force microscopies. learn more It was determined that adsorption followed pseudo-second-order kinetics, and the adsorption rate constants were calculated. A comparative study of the applicability of the adsorption models of Langmuir, Freundlich, and Dubinin-Radushkevich was carried out in order to describe the experimental isotherms of the prepared composite TeMs. The constants and parameters of all of the above equations were determined. By comparing the regression coefficients R2, it was shown that the Freundlich model describes the experimental data on the adsorption of arsenic through the studied samples better than others. Free energy of As(III) adsorption on the samples was determined using the Dubinin-Radushkevich isotherm model and was found to be 17.2 and 31.6 kJ/mol for Cu/PET and Cu/Ox_PET samples, respectively. The high EDr value observed for the Cu/Ox_PET composite indicates that the interaction between the adsorbate and the composite is based on chemisorption.Young people, like college students, are at risk of hearing loss from prolonged and excessive exposure to loud sounds. However, behavioral interventional studies on them are inadequate. This study explored the application of a health belief model to the health education intervention on college students for improving hearing health knowledge, health belief, and hearing behaviors. From November 2017 to September 2018, a cluster randomized controlled trial was conducted, enrolling 830 college students, with 419 in the intervention group and 411 in the control group. The intervention group received a 3-month hearing health education, while the control group received no intervention. The information of hearing health knowledge, health belief, and hearing behaviors were collected using hearing health questionnaires before the intervention, after the intervention, and 3 months after the intervention cessation. The intervention significantly improved hearing health knowledge, health belief, perceived severity, and self-efficacy in female students, and effectively reduced the frequency of using headphones per day, duration of using headphones each time, and proportion of using headphones at high volume in female students, and reduced the behaviors of sleeping with headphones listening in females and males.
