From this case study, we can learn to apply a transoral endoscopic vestibular approach for removal of a benign upper neck mass. Based on the outcomes, endoscopic removal of the benign upper neck mass via a transoral vestibular approach can be useful for patients who wish to hide any anterior neck scar.
Vascular dementia (VD) is the second most common form of dementia in the world. Acupuncture therapy has been widely used in clinical treatment. Based on the available evidence, we will rank different acupuncture therapy to determine the most effective acupuncture therapy.
We will search the following database, including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database and Chinese Scientific Journals Database database, in order to collect randomized controlled trials on acupuncture in the treatment of VD. We will use Stata 14.2 and WinBUGS 1.4.3 software for Bayesian network meta-analysis and finally evaluated the level of evidence of the results.
This study will compare and rank the effectiveness of acupuncture in the treatment of vascular dementia. Outcome indicators included Alzheimer Disease Assessment Scale-Cognitive section and Mini-mental State Examination, Activity of Daily Living, Blessed dementia scale, Hastgawa Dementia Scale, and adverse events.
Our study will provide support for clinical practice.

Lung squamous carcinoma (LUSC) is a common subtype of lung cancer with limited available therapy and is thus associated with poor survival. Immune infiltrating cells and immune-related genes (IRGs) play a key role in the clinical outcomes of LUSC. In the present study, we aimed to develop a potential immunogenomic prognostic signature for patients with LUSC. The transcriptional profiles of 501 LUSC samples from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and 2498 IRGs from the ImmPort database were used to develop the signature by Cox regression analysis. Ten differentially expressed and survival-associated IRGs were used to develop the risk signature, which could serve as an independent prognostic and predictive factor for patients with LUSC. Furthermore, this risk signature correlated with overall survival and clinical features, including age, in patients with LUSC. In addition, we identified 25 transcription factors that may regulate 15 survival-associated IRGs, using a regulatory network. Collectively, this immunogedentified 25 transcription factors that may regulate 15 survival-associated IRGs, using a regulatory network. Collectively, this immunogenomic signature could be a robust prognostic tool for patients with LUSC and holds great promise as individualized immunotherapy for LUSC.
The study included 38 ulnar nerves in 20 healthy subjects. High-resolution ultrasound and Shear wave elastography were used to evaluate the ulnar nerve at the mid forearm. The mean cross-sectional area of the ulnar nerve was 7.1 mm2. The mean shear elastic modulus of the nerve in the short axis was 27.4 kPa. The mean shear elastic modulus of the nerve in long axis was 24.7 kPa. No statistical relation could be noted between elasticity measurements in long and short axes. Tuvusertib The ulnar nerve elastic modulus also showed no correlation with CSA neither in the long axis nor short axis. Age, height, weight, and body mass index showed no correlation with the ulnar elastic modulus in short or long axes. The elastic modulus of the ulnar nerve has been determined in healthy subjects and can serve as a reference for future assessment of compressive neuropathies of the ulnar nerve.

Locally invasive thyroid carcinoma (TC) often involves trachea. In such patients, the trachea needs to be reconstructed after surgery. We discuss the postoperative outcome and complications after trachea reconstruction by free myocutaneous flap (FMF) and pedicled myocutaneous flap (PMF).From January 2009 to September 2019, the clinical data of 38 patients with TC were retrospectively analyzed. Demographics, pathologic results, neoplasm staging, surgical protocol, decannulation, subjective speech function, and complications were documented.A total of 38 patients were analyzed (22 FMFs and 16 PMFs). Of the 38 patients, there is a similar rate of decannulation (81.8% in FMF and 75% in PMF), subjective speech function and complications. The FMF reconstruction and the PMF reconstruction have a similar result in terms of postoperative outcome and complications.
