During both feeding periods, area under the curve (AUC) for plasma glucose concentration decreased (P  less then  .01), whereas AUC for plasma insulin concentration increased. Mean basal plasma glucose concentration and peak plasma insulin concentrations were higher (P  less then  .05) in the high-energy group than in the control group. CONCLUSION AND CLINICAL IMPORTANCE Feeding a high-energy diet to healthy nonobese Shetland pony mares led to more efficient glucose metabolism within 5 weeks, followed by significant hyperinsulinemia and obesity. Hyperinsulinemic status was reversed during 17 weeks of hay-only feeding, regardless of body condition, but returned rapidly after restarting the high-energy diet. © 2020 The Authors. Our goal is to develop an algorithm and pulse sequence to enable motion-compensated, geometric distortion compensated diffusion-weighted MRI, and to evaluate its efficacy in correcting for the field inhomogeneity and position changes, induced by large and frequent head motions. METHODS Dual echo planar imaging (EPI) with a blip-reversed phase encoding distortion correction technique was evaluated in five volunteers in two separate experiments and compared with static field map distortion correction. In the first experiment, dual-echo EPI images were acquired in two head positions designed to induce a large field inhomogeneity change. A field map and a distortion-free structural image were acquired at each position to assess the ability of dual-echo EPI to generate reliable field maps and enable geometric distortion corre, but they also enable a more accurate final diffusion image reconstruction. © 2020 by the American Society of Neuroimaging. To investigate the evolutionary history of the current pandemic outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), a total of 137 genomes of coronavirus strains with release dates between January 2019 and 25 March 2020, were analyzed. To investigate the potential intermediate host of the SARS-CoV-2, we analyzed spike glycoprotein sequences from different animals, with particular emphasis on bats. We performed phylogenetic analysis and structural reconstruction of the spike glycoproteins with subsequent alignment and comparison. Our phylogenetic results revealed that SARS-CoV-2 was more similar to the bats' betacoronavirus isolates HKU5-related from Pipistrellus abramus and HKU4-related from Tylonycteris pachypus. Salubrinal cell line We also identified a yak betacoronavirus strain, YAK/HY24/CH/2017, as the closest match in the comparison of the structural models of spike glycoproteins. Interestingly, a set of unique features has been described for this particular strain of the yak betacoronavirus. Therefore, our results suggest that the human SARS-CoV-2, responsible for the current outbreak of COVID-19, could also come from yak as an intermediate host. © 2020 Wiley Periodicals LLC.AIM The aim was to identify the prevalence of long-lasting pain among children with cerebral palsy (CP) and to investigate the association between pain and participation in physical leisure activities. METHODS This is a cross-sectional study based on data from the National Danish Clinical Quality Database of children with CP. The study population consisted of 960 children aged 2-11 years across all Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) levels. Data were collected at children's regular clinical visits in 2016 or 2017. Information about pain and participation in physical leisure activities were obtained. The association was estimated as odds ratios (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) by logistic regression adjusted for age and sex. RESULTS We included data from 817 children (59% boys) median age six years, 52% classified as GMFCS-level I. A total of 36% reported pain and the most frequent pain locations were hips, feet and knees. Children reporting pain had lower odds for participation in physical leisure activities (OR 0.71, 95% CI 0.53-0.96). CONCLUSION A large proportion of children with CP reported pain. There is an indication that long-lasting pain influences participation in physical leisure activities. Pain relieving interventions are important to decrease pain-related suffering and facilitate participation. This article is protected by copyright. [68 Ga]PSMA-HBED-CC is a PET radiotracer suitable for detection of PCa, and its clinical use has become widespread over the last few years. In this contribution we detail our GMP-compliant production of [68 Ga]PSMA-HBED-CC using the Trasis miniAllinOne radiosynthesizer and report synthetic and clinical data for the first one hundred productions of 2019. Additionally, we detail our efforts towards a GMP-compliant production of the radiotherapeutic [177 Lu]PSMA-I&T using the same synthesis module. PSMA-based radioligand therapy (RLT) offers a possible future treatment in cases of metastatic castration-resistant PCa, and GMP-compliant routine production methods are therefore called for. This report highlights how PSMA-based agents for theranostic purposes can be conveniently produced at a single radiochemistry GMP-site, thereby facilitating optimized detection and treatment of PCa. The solid-state UV-vis spectrum of TUB75 reveals the existence of a narrow bandgap of 1.4 eV, which agrees well with the density functional theory (DFT)-calculated bandgap of 1.77 eV. Single-crystal conductivity measurements for different orientations of the individual crystals yield a range of conductances from 10-3 to 103 S m-1 at room temperature, pointing to the directional nature of the electrical conductivity in TUB75. Magnetization measurements show that TUB75 is composed of antiferromagnetically coupled copper dimer chains. Due to their rich structural chemistry and exceptionally high thermal/chemical stabilities, phosphonate MOFs like TUB75 may open new vistas in engineerable electrodes for supercapacitors. © 2020 The Authors.
