World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are a key element of enhancing your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enchantments of items.
They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They can be purchased by contacting the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When a weapon is upgraded, it will gain an initial damage bonus and a scaling factor that influences other stats. Some upgrade components have cosmetic effects and others provide additional benefits. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. Most require that the item has an upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor or trinket, however it will not be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool on an item.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded with the Calibration Attribute which improves certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be done four times depending on the weapon's level.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement it can be reforged to add different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Several of these upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects vary depending on the quality of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the damage weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
In general, it's advisable to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then you can improve your armour defense and, finally, the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon prior to upgrading other gear. This will increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments that enhance a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players increase the stats base of certain armor pieces, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades may also have additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as quest rewards.
The upgrade of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. Most of the time the armor can be upgraded to the next level after an upgrade is applied. This is the case for any type of armor, however some items cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's defense or strength by only a tiny amount. Certain upgrades, however, could result in significant improvements in defense or strength. This is particularly relevant when upgrading epic items.
Some upgrades provide specific abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be very beneficial in combat. For example they can boost the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades also provide useful passive effects, such as cutting down on the amount of damage sustained when wearing armor, or giving you a the ability to deflect attacks.
Upgrades to armor may require multiple attempts, based on the type. For example the case of a player wanting to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a Dragonscale armor that has the base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each of these locations contains a fair with a great power that can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Contrary to popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Certain armors give a substantial boost to the reduction of damage caused by poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them very beneficial for certain types of builds. There are other ways to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce the total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. item upgrades opens a new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to unlock more tiers of potency.
The potion also gains a custom color code, that the player can pick by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the effects of the potion's particle effects.
The water bottle, common and thick potions, as well as difficult potions, now have a different brewing texture. Add potion of weakness and healing potion to the Creative inventory. Added lingering potions that can be made with splash potions or dragon breath, and a thick potion with the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Issues relating to this update are tracked on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket is an inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace or ring. Or, it could be a tiny banner that marks the yard of a lateen boat. This can also refers to an gilded trinket connected to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze, making them more common. This trinket at present, makes all types Xx of replicas more popular and gives each floor an A% chance that it contains an ebony replica. Upgrades to this trinket will cost a moderate amount energy.
The magic from the enchanted scepter is believed to influence the dungeon and making it more likely to create grass and water. At its current level, this trinket can make X% of the floors fill with water or grass, but doesn't affect enchantments or the glyphs, cursed weapons, armor, or other items created to aid in the elimination of hazards.
The item, which appears like eyes of a newt appears to alter your vision in a way that goes beyond merely narrowing your field of vision.
