World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If item upgrades 's upgrade template is %, it will gain 3% of its previous damage for every time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the current level of the item. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to give them a boost in stats or an extra effect. They can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment that has a slot to accommodate them. The item must be at the very least upgraded to blue level for a component to be used. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and can't be used multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a specific type of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment, as well as some of the back items that are not ascending. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging gear that is ascended or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade can include a suffix or prefix, modifying the name of the equipment to which it is used (for instancethe 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Level or Rarity, allowing players make stronger versions of the equipment that require the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of the weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. They can also be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or by buying them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals per.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher tier version of an item will be dropped at the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep improving their equipment even if they're uncertain of how much they'll improve following a subsequent reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be expensive, and there is a high possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break if it fails. A failed upgrade will destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items that increase or even eliminate the possibility of failure, and a few upgrades that give a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade parts which can be put in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded many ways, and we recommend upgrading them to 15 levels whenever you can.

It is commonplace to see in the final game that placing Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes more quickly.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed with the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a certain range of values that it can improve a stat by, and the value is shown when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with a different Glyph with the same rank or higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has the chance of dropping one of the many Glyphs, and there are some rare glyphs that can be obtained as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will need to place them on your equipment. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Glyphs will increase the number of nodes connected to them, therefore it is best to put Glyphs in strategic spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance, a Druid should try to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes but you should also consider placing them near critical damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the stats of specific items by putting upgraded components in them. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of ilvl 385. Each item level requires a different amount of components to reach and the costs for upgrading increase as the item is leveled up.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or bought from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to leveling up an item. Once enough points are earned you will be eligible to claim the upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When the player upgrades an item it is replaced with a new item of the same type. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This could be a drawback because it can cause the item to become more expensive if you do not require it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can roll the upgrade of their item. The item will be replaced by an entirely new item that has a base of level 1 and totally different bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, however it shouldn't be repeated often, as it can waste many resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to modify their equipment. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or is able to swim like dolphins). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the max roll by an increment of 10. This item can be very useful in PvP battles, since the best version of it could be worth between 20 and 50 times its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

The upgrader for items allows players to increase the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, armor trinkets, and armor) beyond ilvl385 by handing over the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase its base defense and weapon upgrades items boost their base damage as well as their strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear that can have eight upgrades. Each time you upgrade an object, it is at risk of failing. The probability of failure increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will result in the item reverting to its initial state which means that the player has to pay for more items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any bonus it earned such as crit chance and attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or the speed of reloading). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to the highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded gains a crit chance increase, the increase will be applied prior to any damage from attacks increases. Slots is a new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item are dependent on its rarity score and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item might have 5 upgrades, each costing 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items may have different upgrade requirements than regular gear. For instance they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and orons. The player will need to carry each piece of gear they want to upgrade to the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade to equipment requires different amounts of the ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the costs that are listed above.
