Idiopathic intracranial hypertension is a rare neurological disorder of unknown etiology. It is characterized by symptoms and signs of raise intra cranial pressure, normal brain neuroimaging, and high opening pressure ≥ 280 cm H2O in the presence of normal cerebro spinal fluid constituents.
Ten years old thin boy presented with severe throbbing headache, vomiting, and visual obscurations for a duration of 10 days. Physical examination revealed body mass index of 14.8, VI and VII cranial nerve palsies. Fudoscopy showed grade 4 papilledema; brain CT and MRI were normal. Lumbar puncture revealed pressure of 300 cm H2O with normal CSF constituents. He was treated with acetazolamide, methylprednisolone, and paracetamol.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has started in December 2019 and still ongoing. The disease has been expanding rapidly with a high variety of phenotypes from asymptomatic, mild respiratory tract infection, multiple organ system dysfunction, and death. Neurological manifestations also appear in patients with COVID-19, such as headache, seizures, a decrease of consciousness, and paralysis. The hypercoagulable state in patients with COVID-19 is associated with the thromboembolic incident including ischemic strokes, venous thromboembolism, pulmonary artery embolism, and many further. Cerebral sinus venous thrombosis (CSVT) is a rare neurovascular emergency that is often found in critically ill patients. We report two cases of CSVT with different onsets, neurologic manifestations, and prognoses.
Two cases of cerebral sinus venous thrombosis in COVID-19 patients were reported, following respiratory, hematology, and coagulation disarrangements, which was triggered by the severe acute respiratory syne negative result of SARS-CoV-2 through the rt-PCR test, thrombogenesis and coagulation cascade continuing. Therefore, a high level of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), D-dimer, fibrinogen, and C-reactive protein (CRP) are paramount indicators of poor prognosis.

Extant endemics display two biogeographic patterns widespread species with fragmented populations, and narrow-range endemics. These distributions are shown by the congeneric snails Anguispira kochi occidentalis and Anguispira nimapuna. These two taxa are disjunct from the remaining species of the genus, which achieves its greatest diversity in eastern North America. Given the disjunct nature of A. k. occidentalis and A. nimapuna, we here present a mtDNA phylogeny of the genus that includes both eastern and western species to assess the phylogenetic position of A. k. occidentalis and A. nimapuna. We then reconstruct the demographic history of A. k. occidentalis and A. nimapuna by analysing current patterns of genetic variation and interpreting the results considering the historical biogeography of the region. Both A. k. occidentalis and A. nimapuna represent unique taxa that are genetically and geographically distinct from their congeners. The current distribution and genetic structure of A. k. occidentalis has been shaped by both historical isolation in refugia and more recent northward shifts, whereas A. nimapuna is represented by two populations with shallow divergence in an area of long-term habitat stability.Many governments decided to cancel face-to-face teaching and learning activities in schools and universities. This study focuses on determining the importance of anthropometric, environmental, and psychosocial factors in the distance learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study presents main factors and their subfactors affecting ergonomic conditions of university students during distance learning. A novel distance learning ergonomics checklist is proposed based on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration checklists. The data are collected via a questionnaire filled by 100 university students who attend the Ergonomics course online. Then, the integrated methodology includes Voting Analytic Hierarchy Process integrated Pythagorean Fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to An Ideal Solution method is adopted to prioritize the factors determined.
