In this paper, the authors have attempted to predict and analyze the disease along with its related issues to determine the maximum number of infected people, the speed of spread, and most importantly, its evaluation using a model-based parameter estimation method. In this research the Susceptible-Infectious-Recovered model with different conditions has been used for the analysis of COVID-19. The effects of lockdown, the light switch method, and parameter variations like contact ratio and reproduction number are also analyzed. The authors have attempted to study and predict the lockdown effect, particularly in India in terms of infected and recovered numbers, which show substantial improvement. Here we propose that passive solar heating, a sustainable technique that has been used in agronomy to kill weeds and soil pathogens, could inactivate the virus in vehicles during warm-to-hot weather within few minutes to half an hour at 50-60 °C. We measured temperatures in a white compact-size sedan left in a parking lot under direct sunlight. Air temperatures increased from 30 to 42-49 °C after 30 min and then reached a plateau at 52-57 °C after 90 min. In a web-based cross-sectional survey, 623 police personnel were evaluated on Patient Health Questionnaire-4 (PHQ-4) and Perceived stress scale (PSS), and a self-designed questionnaire. 10.6% of the police personnel had significant anxiety and 18% have significant depressive symptoms with overall psychological morbidity of 22.2%. Higher age was significantly associated with higher depressive symptoms, total PHQ-4 score, and higher perceived stress. The present survey suggests that a substantial proportion of the police personnel on COVID-19 duty during the lockdown period have significant anxiety, depressive symptoms, and perceive significant stress. There is an urgent need to evaluate the mental health issues and provide psychological support to the police personnel who are considered as faceless warriors of the COVID-19.

Research in surgical fields other than orthopedicshas demonstrated high patient satisfaction with non-traditional telerounding modalities.
We sought to determine patient satisfaction and Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores of patients who experienced telerounding in the post-operative period after undergoing total joint arthroplasty (TJA).
Fifty consecutive TJA patients were prospectively enrolled to receive telerounding. The patients were divided into two groups based on their satisfaction with telerounding. The HCAHPS scores of the patients who received telerounding were compared with 50 control patients.
Overall, the telerounding cohort had a positive reaction to telerounding. Comparing patients who were highly satisfied to those who were dissatisfied with telerounding, younger patients were found to be more frequently satisfied with telerounding. Compared with patients who did not receive telerounding, patients who experienced telerounding rated the hospital higher on a 10-point scale were more likely to recommend the hospital to others, more frequently believed their physicians treated them with courtesy and respect, and more often believed their physicians always listened to them carefully.
An overwhelming majority of our patients found telerounding using FaceTime enhanced their care while recovering post-operatively from TJA. Those patients were typically younger and had significantly higher HCAHPS scores, which potentially can enhance the physician-patient relationship.
