he clinical treatment of PD, and we will report this result soon.

This paper will explore whether or not electroacupuncture can be used as a non-drug therapy for PD.

Ethical approval is not required for this paper, our plan will be published in the journal.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has emerged in the Asia-Pacific area over the past 2 decades. There is a paucity of clinical data regarding real-world experience of patients with IBD from low endemic area such as Taiwan. Therefore, the present study aimed to review the clinical features of patients with IBD form a tertiary center from Taiwan.A total of 163 patients with IBD were identified from the electronic clinical database of Changhua Christian Hospital. Demographic data of the patients and clinical features of the disease pattern were retrospectively reviewed. There was a higher proportion (62.6%) of patients diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (UC). Patients with Crohn disease (CD) and UC had male predominance. The median age of diagnosis was younger in patients with CD than in patients with UC (CD vs UC 31 vs 40 years, P = .0423). The disease distribution of UC was as follows E1 (15.7%), E2 (47.1%), and E3 (37.3%). The disease distribution of CD was as follows L1 (36.1%), L2 (14.8%), L3 (42.6%), and L4SA). A trend of decreased bowel resection for patients with IBD and less severe phenotype of patients with CD were observed after 2015.UC with male predominance was the predominant type of IBD in the study. Patients with CD are likely to have a complicated disease course, requiring a higher demand of biologic therapy than patients with UC.

To investigate the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and related factors, the symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among earthquake survivors in minority area 2 years after Jiuzhaigou earthquake. Two years after the Jiuzhaigou earthquake, a cross-sectional survey was conducted by a multi-stage sampling approach. HRQoL was measured by the short form 12 (SF-12), PTSD was measured by the PTSD Check List-Civilian Version (PCL-C), and social support was measured by the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. Descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA and multiple linear regression analysis were used for data analysis.Of the 561 participants, the mean scores on the physical component summary (PCS) and mental component summary (MCS) were 46.36 ± 12.79 and 55.03 ± 8.73, and 5.73% reported the symptoms of PTSD. Lower PCS and MCS after an earthquake were associated with elderly age, physical illness, and low level of social support (P < .05). Meanwhile, PTSD was significantly associated wit12.79 and 55.03 ± 8.73, and 5.73% reported the symptoms of PTSD. Lower PCS and MCS after an earthquake were associated with elderly age, physical illness, and low level of social support (P  less then  .05). Meanwhile, PTSD was significantly associated with MCS.These findings showed that physical disease and psychological symptoms can adversely affect the HRQoL of survivors. Moreover, providing higher social support to survivors should be considered as a way to improve the HRQoL outcomes of survivors.

Diagnosis of unicentric Castleman disease (UCD) is not easy before the resection and obtainment of pathological result. We retrospectively summarized 10-year experience of clinical evaluation and management for retroperitoneal UCD in Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) between December 1, 2009 and December 31, 2019. Seventy two UCD patients with pathological diagnosis after resection were screened out. Among them 25 patients had retroperitoneal UCD. The average age of the 25 patients was 43.80 ± 12.79, and 52.00% were male. No patients had systemic symptoms, and 1 patient got preoperative treatment. The average size of masses was 5.59 ± 2.86 cm. The UCD sites included kidney, adrenal area, perinephric area, pancreas, peripancreatic area, area of descending part of duodenum, periaortic area or beside iliac artery, and others. The masses presented different degree of enhancement on CT scans and hypoecho or isoecho on ultrasound. Increased metabolism could be found on 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron n be combined for differential analysis. Complete resection is the best treatment and could provide a final pathological diagnosis.

Pituitary tumor apoplexy (PTA) is a rare clinical syndrome which requires urgent diagnosis and treatment due to its life-threatening consequences. Management of undiagnosed pituitary tumor before pregnancy is a problem during pregnancy.

We reported a case with PTA which was not diagnosed before pregnancy presenting with vomiting associated with hyponatremia during the third trimester. After supplying the sodium the patient presented with dysarthria and hemiplegia.

MRI examination showed PTA accompanied with extrapontine myelinolysis (EPM).

The patient was given hydrocortisone according to the symptoms gradually to taper off dose, at the same times oral levothyroxine therapy (25μg/day) was given.

The patient delivered a healthy baby via cesarean section at hospital at 38 + 1 week of gestation. We performed MRI examination regularly and the tumor regressed significantly 8 months postpartum.

We reported a case as PTA associated with EPM. Headache during pregnancy is often nonspecific, so careful medical history inquiry is very important.

To describe the clinical effects of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UCMSCs) combined with allogenic platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) for the treatment of lower limb ischemia in an elderly patient.

The patient was a 93-year-old Chinese woman with bilateral foot gangrene and ulcers lasting for 6 months. She had a prior history of Behcet's disease.

The admitting diagnosis for this episode was atherosclerosis bilateral limb ischemia.

First, treatment consisting of immunosuppressants, anticoagulation, antiplatelets, and anti-microbials were instituted. A UCMSC suspension was administered intravenously and injected into the lower limbs twice. An allogenic PRF membrane was externally applied 15 times over the lower limbs.

The patient's pain improved and the 6 ulcers healed.

The combination of UCMSCs with a PRF membrane for the treatment of lower limb ischemia in an elderly patient is effective and safe. Selleck Tween 80 More and larger trials are needed before incorporating this therapy into mainstream treatment.

The combination of UCMSCs with a PRF membrane for the treatment of lower limb ischemia in an elderly patient is effective and safe.
