Methods A total of 71 618 residents aged over 18 years with complete baseline data, who were filed on the health information big data platform of Yinzhou district, Ningbo city, Zhejiang Province from 2009 to 2014, were selected as the research population. The research population were divided into four groups according to the level of HDL-C low-level group (HDL-C less then 1.0 mmol/L), intermediate-level group (1.0 mmol/L≤HDL-C less then 1.5 mmol/L), medium-high-level group (1.5 mmol/L≤HDL-C less then 2.0 mmol/L) and high-level group (HDL-C≥2.0 mmol/L). Cox proportional hazard model was used to calculate the risk ratio of cardiovascular diseases mortality in different groups. Results The study population was followed up for a total of 427 989.4 person-years, follow-up time of (5.98±1.04)years. During the follow-up period, there were 799 deaths due to cardiovascular diseases. After adjusting for confounding factors, compared with the medium-high-level group as the reference group, the HR (95%CI) for cardiovascular diseases mortality was 1.43 (1.13-1.82) in the low-level group and 1.22 (1.02-1.46) in the high-level group. Conclusion The low level of HDL-C ( less then 1.5 mmol/L) is associated with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease deaths. The level of HDL-C can be used as a biological indicator to monitor the development of cardiovascular diseases and guide treatment. Objective The results of syphilis antibody screening in Peking University Third Hospital from 2016 to 2020 were analyzed,to explore the characteristics of sex, age and distribution of patients with positive syphilis antibody. Methods A retrospective study was conducted to collect the results of syphilis antibody in outpatients and inpatients of Peking University Third Hospital from 2016 to 2020. Results Among 626 528 patients who were positive for treponema pallidum antibody screening, 4 232 were rerinology department and neurology department, and the positive rates were 1.79% (104/5 810),1.46% (55/3 767),1.20% (74/6 167),1.20% (22/1 833),1.10% (32/2 909),1.09% (94/8 624), respectively. From the analysis of clinical diagnosis, the proportion of positive syphilis antibody in infertile patients (0.64%, 672/104 911) was higher than that in naturally conceived patients (0.10%, 24/23 969). Conclusions From 2016 to 2020, the positive detection rate of syphilis antibody in Peking University Third Hospital decreased year by year. However, the positive detection rate increased with the age of patients. The positive rate of syphilis antibody in male was higher than that in female. The positive rate of syphilis antibody in pregnant women was lower than that in infertile patients. Objective To analyze the association between serum uric acid to creatinine ratio (SUA/Cr) and metabolic syndrome among community residents in Chashan town, Dongguan city. Methods Participants were from the prospective cohort study of chronic diseases in natural populations in South China conducted in Chashan town, Dongguan city from 2018 to 2019. A total of 11 334 participants with complete data were included by using convenient sampling method. Demographic characteristics, lifestyle and health status were collected through questionnaire and physical examination. The venous blood of the subjects was collected to detect the levels of serum uric acid, creatinine and blood lipid. All participants were divided into four groups (Q1-Q4) according to the quartile of SUA/Cr level. The relationship between SUA/Cr and metabolic syndrome and its components (abdominal obesity, high triglyceride, low level of high density lipoprotein cholesterol, hypertension and abnormal glucose metabolism) were analyzed by using logisti without significant differences in patients with hyperuricemia (Pinteraction=0.008). Conclusion There is a positive correlation between SUA/Cr level and the risk of metabolic syndrome among community residents in Chashan town, Dongguan city. Objective The research was aimed to investigate the association between serum total homocysteine (tHcy) and subacute combined degeneration of the spinal cord (SCD). Methods A retrospective survey of 106 newly diagnosed patients with SCD were enrolled in this research who were treated in the department of neurology of Xijing Hospital from January 2008 to February 2019, meanwhile, 121 patients with spinal cord lesion (not SCD) and 104 neurology mild outpatients were selected as controls. Serum tHcy level was determined by using the chemiluminescent immunoassay assay. A multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the risk factors for SCD. The area under the curve (AUC) of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, sensitivity, specificity and Youden index were used to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of tHcy. Spearman correlation analysis was used to observe the correlation between tHcy and SCD severity. The SCD patients were categorized into normal or mild tHcy group, moderate tHcy group,s a positive role in the diagnosis of SCD.Objective To study the correlation between low-density lipoprotein particles (LDL-P) with other lipoprotein indexes. To explore the correlation between LDL-P and its subgroup particles(LDL1-P-LDL6-P) with the degree of coronary artery stenosis in patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CHD) combining with the result of coronary arteriography. To explore the value of lipoprotein subgroup granules in preventing the severity of coronary artery stenosis in CHD patients. Methods Cross-sectional study. A total of 259 patients without lipid-lowering drugs for coronary angiography in the department of cardiology of TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital during 3 months from August 2019 to December 2019 were collected, and 52 healthy subjects were recruited during the same period. The level of high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and other biochemical indexes were detected by automatic biochemical analyzer. The level of LDL-P and other biochemical indexes were detected by nuclear magnetic resoenosis (U=1 159.000, Z=2.294, P=0.022; t=2.075, P=0.041). High levels of hs-CRP, LDL5-P and LDL6-P were risk factors for the degree of coronary stenosis(OR=1.095, P=0.036;OR=1.015, P=0.046;OR=1.012, P=0.039). ROC analysis showed that the AUC of LDL-P, LDL5-P and LDL6-P on coronary stenosis was 0.67, 0.68 and 0.69, respectively. Hs-CRP combined with LDL5-P and LDL6-P had the greatest effect on the degree of coronary stenosis (AUC= 0.70). Conclusions LDL-P is highly correlated with LDL-C. The levels of LDL-P and LDL6-P were significantly higher in patients with severe stenosis than in patients with mild and moderate stenosis. hs-CRP, LDL5-P and LDL6-P can be used as new risk factors for the degree of coronary stenosis and may be further used as risk predictors. The combined detection of hs-CRP, LDL5-P and LDL6-P is helpful for the diagnosis of the severity of coronary stenosis, and may further become risk predictors. Objective To investigate the auxiliary diagnostic value of seven tumor-associated autoantibodies (AABs) P53, PGP9.5, SOX2, GAGE7, GBU4-5, MAGEA1 and CAGE in early non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
