World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade option allows players to boost the gear rating of an item up 700 points and also add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory before heading to the kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd for their unique stats (like perfect broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not vary greatly post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Some weapons also come with an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a single unit. In some cases this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage a weapon can sustain by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity as well as its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a gun will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgraded weapons can also alter their base stats. While this is generally beneficial, it can have some negative consequences too. Upgrades can make things inaccessible, unless you're exceptionally lucky.

Items of armor can also be upgraded to improve their effectiveness. For instance, if you have chests or helms, this will increase its defense base while a belt and gloves will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor also has a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it may reroll to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will gain when upgraded in addition to their respective values. This means that a change from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in a weapon receiving 33% attack damage. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button in the item menu using the circling arrows. This will roll the item and alter its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's levels or connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets provide massive increases in poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, making it easier to navigate through tough terrain. In general, the more defense you have on your character, the greater health you'll get from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, go to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four of them, and each requires you to complete a unique side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed your main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor is different. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for example, can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which will allow you to stay ahead in frigid conditions with a lot of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded to +20 defense so that you're able to survive a battle with your friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll want to focus on enhancing it to increase physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power if you're a Mage. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades to use for armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you'll wear to fight the final boss and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

You can also gain benefits to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. Generally, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to beat the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be useful to have some upgrades of the chest armor and helmets that permit you to sneak past some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, provide a temporary effect. There are five kinds of potions with different effects and durations. Some potions may be upgraded, enhancing their effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP. These can be earned by crafting them on a crafting table or in the Alchemist's chest. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion as well as the item's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, right-click it in your inventory. Then, select "Upgrade" from the menu. This opens a GUI where you can select the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they will give you when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at once, and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.

When a poton is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade unless you take it out again or break the bottle in which it is kept. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change its name.

There were a few updates to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for instance are now available with a time of zero, not the 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display for the item. The table for potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can now be used in both Survival and Bedrock. In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions cannot be combined in cauldrons. Additionally, using a potentio on a full cauldron drains the contents and replenishes the bottle.

Lastly, there are now lingering potions, which are made using dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions can be enhanced by adding redstone. The table of potions has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added for instance, the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It may be a reference to an object or decoration that serves a function but is not particularly important like a trinket. In some cultures, a trinket is used to express affection or friendship between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. item upgrader can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrades, trinkets can be swapped out at will without losing their stats.

The upgrade vendors are found in major cities and in the capital of each zone, and in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of rare trinkets.

The upgrade of a trinket can be a cost-effective alternative to purchasing new ones. One can upgrade their trinket for as little 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same level of base as the old trinket, however, it will also come with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once the old ones are no longer needed which allows a player to increase their power and worth over time. They can also be traded between players and are an extremely popular alternative to gold.

In general players should upgrade their highest priority items first. This typically means the top-of-the-line items for their class, followed by their secondary items and finally, other items of gear will not be replaced soon (for instance, a ring or cloak). When deciding on which items to upgrade players must also be aware of their class's preferred statistics. For instance, if Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers, they should prioritize upgrading their helm, chest shoulders, belt, and chest.

When they are no longer useful trinkets are able to be upgraded to a greater level. The new trinket comes with an additional 1percent bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it is saved using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades but still less expensive than purchasing new ones.
