Maternal depression and quality of parenting serially mediated the relationship between economic pressure and school performance. The relationship between economic pressure and adverse child outcomes, however, was mediated only by maternal depression. Social support did not significantly moderate the relationship between economic pressure and maternal depression; however, it did demonstrate a significant direct effect on maternal depression. The current study corroborates the application of FSM to another population. Further, it demonstrates the importance of interventions that target maternal mental health, parenting, social support, and family economic mobility as well as system-level policy interventions to address poverty. In this work, we demonstrate on a new interconnection technology which can be used for bonding Flip-Chips with 5-µm-Bumps and fine pitches less then 5 µm. In this technology, the bumps on both joint partners are coated with metallic nanowires (in most cases copper, in rare cases gold), through an in situ electrochemical deposition process, the so-called NanoWiring process. The diameter of the wires can be adjusted between 30 and 4000 nm, and their length is ranged from 4 to 50 µm. The process is scaled up for 12 inch wafers. The bonding process can be performed directly at wafer level or also at Flip-Chip level. The nanowires overcome the dicing step. The diced chips can be bonded by adjusting and pressing the NanoWired bumps together at room temperature, using the standard bonding devices. The required bonding forces range from 5 to 50 MPa for flip chips, LEDs and sensors. The bonding with nanowires, the so-called KlettWelding, can be explained by diffusion of the nanowires in each other under compression and weaving of the wires as well. The measured shear strength of these connections yields 15-24 MPa. The very large achieved Surface/Volume quotient of NanoWired surface causes this strength. For a better performance, a prior copper oxide reducing step for the copper NanoWires is needed. This can be done by using standard processes like forming gas plasma or formic acid vapor. By heating during the pressing process up to 230 °C, the shear strength increases to 60 MPa. The nanowired interconnections have an electrical conduction in the range of bulk metal, because of their pure metallic nature. Beside microelectronic applications, the bonding of larger metallic plates like aluminium, copper, steel and also flexible polymers, glass, silicon and ceramics are also enabled.Using data from the 2012 International Social Survey Program (n = 8,269), this study investigated how couples integrate and manage their income across 20 countries with varying degrees of gender inequality. Pevonedistat solubility dmso Couples were more likely to report that one person managed the shared pot of money in countries with high gender inequality compared with couples in more gender equal countries. This pattern was not moderated by within-couple earnings equality. We found a cohabitation-marriage gap in income arrangements that is largest where national-level gender equality is high. In more gender equal contexts, married couples were more likely to pool and manage their money together, whereas a larger proportion of married couples assigned one money manager in countries with less gender equality. Cohabiting couples were more likely to keep some money separate than to take-up a pooled, jointly managed approach in more gender equal countries. Findings demonstrate the need to consider both management and pooling dimensions of couples' treatment of money to understand the influence of contextual factors on couples' income arrangements.Tyrosyl-DNA phosphodiesterase 2 (TDP2) repairs topoisomerase II (Top2) mediated DNA damages, including double-strand breaks (DSBs) that underpin the anticancer mechanism of clinical TOP2 poisons such as etoposide (ETP). Inhibition of TDP2 could sensitize cancer cells toward TOP2 poisons by increasing Top2 cleavage complex. We have previously identified isoquinoline-1,3-dione as a selective inhibitor type of TDP2. However, the reported structure-activity relationship (SAR) was limited to simple substitutions on the isoquinoline-1,3-dione core. Herein, we report the extended SAR consisting of the synthesis and testing of a total of 50 analogs featuring N-2 and C-4 modifications. Major SAR observations include the loss of potency upon N-2 substitution, the lack of inhibition with C-4 enamine analogs (subtype 11), or any other C-4 modifications (subtypes 13-15) except for the benzylidene substitution (subtype 12), where eight analogs showed low micromolar potency. The best analog, 12q, inhibited TDP2 with an IC50 of 4.8 μM. Molecular modeling was performed to help understand the observed SAR trends. Overall, these SAR observations which could significantly benefit future work on the design of improved TDP2 inhibitors.Newly designed pyrrolo[2,1-c][1,4]benzodiazepines tricyclic skeleton has shown potential clusters of cannabinoid receptors CB1/CB2 selective ligands. CB2 plays a critical role in microglial-derived neuroinflammation, where it modulates cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation into M1 or M2 phenotypes. Beginning with computer-based docking studies accounting the recently discovered X-ray crystal structure of CB2, we designed a series of PBD analogs as potential ligands of CB2 and tested their binding affinities. Interestingly, computational studies and theoretical binding affinities of several selected (S,E)-11-[2-(arylmethylene)hydrazono]-PBD analogs, have revealed the presence of potential selectivity in binding attraction towards CB1 and CB2. Reported here is the discovery of the first representatives of this series of selective binding to CB2. Preliminary data showed that this class of molecules display potential binding efficacy towards the cannabinoid receptors tested. Intriguingly, initial cannabinoid binding assay showed a selective binding affinity of 4g and 4h showed K i of 0.49 and 4.7 μM towards CB2 receptors while no binding was observed to CB1. The designed leads have shown remarkable stability pattern at the physiological pH magnifying their therapeutic values. We hypothesize that the PBD tricyclic structure offers the molecule an appropriate three-dimensional conformation to fit snugly within the active site of CB2 receptors, giving them superiority over the reported CB2 agonists/inverse agonists. Our findings suggested that the attachment of heterocyclic ring through the condensation of diazepine hydrazone and S- or N-heterocyclic aldehydes enhances the selectivity of CB2 over CB1.
