Discussed are the complexities of whether all patients with thunderclap headache should have further investigation if timely computerised tomography is normal and, the relevance of abnormal imaging in these disorders, differentiating what is deemed to be secondary and managing the pain.In this paper, we trained people to produce 90° mean relative phase using task-appropriate feedback and investigated whether and how that learning transfers to other coordinations. Past work has failed to find transfer of learning to other relative phases, only to symmetry partners (identical coordinations with reversed lead-lag relationships) and to other effector combinations. However, that research has all trained people using transformed visual feedback (visual metronomes, Lissajous feedback) which removes the relative motion information typically used to produce various coordinations (relative direction, relative position; Wilson and Bingham, in Percept Psychophys 70(3)465-476, 2008). Coordination feedback (Wilson et al., in J Exp Psychol Hum Percept Perform 36(6)1508, 2010) preserves that information and we have recently shown that relative position supports transfer of learning between unimanual and bimanual performance of 90° (Snapp-Childs et al., in Exp Brain Res 233(7), 2225-2238, 2015). Here, we ask whether that information can support the production of other relative phases. We found large, asymmetric transfer of learning bimanual 90° to bimanual 60° and 120°, supported by perceptual learning of relative position information at 90°. For learning to transfer, the two tasks must overlap in some critical way; this is additional evidence that this overlap must be informational. We discuss the results in the context of an ecological, task dynamical approach to understanding the nature of perception-action tasks.PURPOSE To investigate the feasibility of shear wave sonoelastography (SWS) for endoleak detection and thrombus characterization of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) after endovascular repair (EVAR). MATERIALS AND METHODS Participants who underwent EVAR were prospectively recruited between November 2014 and March 2016 and followed until March 2019. Elasticity maps of AAA were computed using SWS and compared to computed tomography angiography (CTA) and color Doppler ultrasound (CDUS). Two readers, blinded to the CTA and CDUS results, reviewed elasticity maps and B-mode images to detect endoleaks. Three or more CTAs per participant were analyzed pre-EVAR, baseline post-EVAR, and follow-ups. The primary endpoint was endoleak detection. Secondary endpoints included correlation between total thrombus elasticity, proportion of fresh thrombus, and aneurysm growth between baseline and reference CTAs. A 3-year follow-up was made to detect missed endoleaks, EVAR complication, and mortality. Data analyses included Cohen'sicity maps, SWS differentiated endoleaks from thrombi within the aneurysm sac (p  less then  0.001). • After 3-year follow-up, no new endoleaks were observed in SWS negative examinations.OBJECTIVES To compare biliary stricture severity on magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), magnetic resonance elastography (MRE), and vibration-controlled transient elastography (VCTE) liver stiffness (LS) for evaluation of risk stratification and prognostication in primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). MATERIALS AND METHODS Eighty-seven patients (31-61 years; 34 female/53 male) prospectively underwent biochemical testing, VCTE, MRCP, and MRE between January 2014 and July 2016. Correlation between the MRCP grading of PSC based on biliary stricture severity, LS on MRE and VCTE, and the Mayo Risk Score as well as the Amsterdam Oxford Prognostic Index (AOPI) were evaluated and compared. Our aim was to evaluate outcomes of open patch versus flap repair, specifically diaphragmatic reherniation. METHODS A retrospective review (IRB #2017-6361) was performed on all CDH patients repaired from 2005 to 2016 at a single academic children's hospital. Patients were excluded from final analysis if they had primary or minimally invasive repair, expired, or were lost to follow-up. RESULTS Of 171 patients, 151 (88.3%) survived to discharge, 9 expired after discharge and 11 were lost to follow up, leaving 131 (86.8%) long-term survivors. Median follow-up was 5 years. Open repair was performed in 119 (90.8%) of which 28 (23.5%) underwent primary repair, 34 (28.6%) patch repair, and 57 (47.9%) flap repair. Overall, 6/119 (5%) patients reherniated, 1/28 (3.6%) in the primary group, 3/34 (8.8%) in the patch group, and 2/57 (3.5%) in the flap group.
