We use BespokeFit to derive individual torsion parameters for each of these molecules, thereby reducing the root-mean-square error in the potential energy surface from 1.1 kcal/mol, using the original transferable force field, to 0.4 kcal/mol using the bespoke version. Furthermore, we employ the bespoke force fields to compute the relative binding free energies of a congeneric series of inhibitors of the TYK2 protein, and demonstrate further improvements in accuracy, compared to the base force field (MUE reduced from 0.560.390.77 to 0.420.280.59 kcal/mol and R2 correlation improved from 0.720.350.87 to 0.930.840.97).[This corrects the article doi 10.1590/1518-8345.6163.3663] [This corrects the article doi 10.1590/1518-8345.6289.3714] [This corrects the article doi 10.1590/1518-8345.6166.3651] [This corrects the article doi 10.1590/1518-8345.6278.3678] [This corrects the article doi 10.1590/1518-8345.6289.3711] [This corrects the article doi 10.1590/1518-8345.6289.3654].

the care of adolescents with or without a chronic disease must complete, standardized and focused on individual demands and the transition process to adult care and adherence to treatment. This study aimed to characterize the care provided by nurses from the state of São Paulo who work with adolescents.

this is a cross-sectional and descriptive study on the care provided to adolescents by nurses in São Paulo, based on the answers to a self-administered questionnaire, available in the REDCap tool between August 2018 and October 2019.

participants answered 1632 questionnaires. Only 38% of nurses work with adolescents, 11.2% exclusively. Professionals were divided according to the median length of professional experience in groups A and B (≤5 years and >5 years). Drug addiction (p=0.01) and working with a multidisciplinary team (p=0.04) were significantly more reported in group B. Routine follow-up (p=0.02) and questioning about sexual or physical violence (p=0.03) were significantly more performed by professionals from group A.

this study identified the need for a care protocol that can be replicated on a large scale and that includes the treatment and the particularities of adolescents to improve adherence and the transition into adult care.

(1) Nursing consultation is essential for adolescents. (2) Care protocols must address the particularities of adolescents. (3) The transition to adult care is important and deserves attention. (4) Remuneration can impact the performance of nurses' activities, updates and training.

to analyze nurses' statements about health care for gay adolescents.

qualitative study, anchored on the Thematic Analysis of Clarke and Braun, with adoption of Symbolic Interactionism as a theoretical framework, since it favors the understanding of the relationship between behaviors, interactions, and social meanings. Twelve nurses recruited using the snowball sampling technique were remotely interviewed via the Google Meet® video-conferencing app.

four themes were elaborated throughout the comprehensive-interpretative process "Gay adolescents, agendas, and relation with health;" "The gay adolescent's family and care;" "Relationship with gay adolescents in care," and "Limits to nursing care for gay adolescents."

the statements denounce stigmas and symbols derived from cisheteronormativity as intervening in the relationship and indicate the urgency of investing in the intersubjective encounter with gay adolescents and their families in a horizontal, affective, and empathic relationship, with chances of favoring public defense of the right to health. There are comments on the nurses' attitude and qualification of care for this population.

(1) Tendency towards "de-subjectifying" objectification in health practices. (2) Hegemony of cisheteronormative logic as a limitation to care. (3) Sex and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) as stigmas attached to gay adolescents. (4) Family and health care for homosexual adolescents opportunities and obstacles. (5) The limits and powers of nursing to enable equity in care for gay adolescents.

to analyze the management of overweight and obesity in children and adolescents by nurses of the Family Health Strategy.

this is a study of convergent parallel mixed methods, developed in Health Centers of a municipality in northeastern Brazil. In the quantitative stage, data were collected from a questionnaire applied to 98 nurses and analyzed by descriptive statistics. For the qualitative stage, semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven nurses, interpreted by inductive thematic analysis. The quantitative and qualitative results were integrated and presented by a joint display.

most nurses rarely checked waist circumference (77.6%), dyslipidemia (55.7%), blood glucose (42.3%), and neither evaluated blood pressure (75.3%). In the qualitative results, we identified that there are nurses who did not classify body mass index according to sex and age. As for medical tests, the requests were mainly related to the routine of childcare. Guidance on physical activity and diet were given in a basic wacontinuing education actions for nurses. (5) With proper management, it will be possible to reduce this morbidity and comorbidities.

to analyze the factors associated with the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding in adolescent mothers during the first 6 months of the infant's life.

this is a cohort study of 105 adolescent mothers followed at the child's 2-, 4- and 6-months of age. The epidemiological approach was adopted, supported by the positivism paradigm. Exposure variables were those directly related to breastfeeding and sociodemographic, family, maternal and child conditions. Data were collected by interview and analyzed by bivariate and multivariate statistics. selleck chemicals The Hazard Ratio (HR) was calculated with a 95% confidence interval (95%CI). The tests were performed, admitting an error type I of 5%. The confidentiality of data was ensured.

the cumulative incidences of exclusive breastfeeding abandonment were 33.3%, 52.2% and 63.8%, at 2, 4 and 6 months, respectively. The variables that remain in the final multivariate model were maternal perception of milk quality (HR=11.6; 95%CI 3.6-37.5), pacifier use (HR=1.9; 95%CI 1.2-3.3), a milk may increase the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding. (3) Pacifier use may increase the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding. (4) Knowing the factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding may allow for timely management of them. (5) Exclusive breastfeeding promotion strategies must be adopted early, before and after birth.

investigate the influence of health literacy on the assessment of COVID-19 threat to health and the intention not to be vaccinated among Brazilian adolescents.

cross-sectional study with 526 Brazilian adolescents aged 14 to 19 years. Socioeconomic aspects, health-disease profile, health literacy, health threat by COVID-19 and intention not to be vaccinated were analyzed by bivariate association and multiple linear regression with Poisson response.

higher health literacy score (p=0.010), cardiovascular disease (p=0.006), lower income (p=0.000), and living in the North region (p=0.007) were factors that contributed to feeling more threatened by COVID-19. Health literacy did not influence the intention not to be vaccinated (p=0.091), whose prevalence was lower among adolescents in the Southeast region when compared to those in the North region (p=0.010), among those who attended higher education (p=0,049) and those with higher income (p=0.000).

health literacy influenced the perception of COVID-19 threatation. (5) About 87% of Brazilian adolescents want to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

highlight health inequalities of homeless adolescents based on the conceptual framework of social determinants of health.

this is a convergent parallel mixed-methods study. The population consisted of adolescents who are homeless, with purposeful sampling and data saturation. Quantitative data were obtained with a questionnaire and qualitative data through semi-structured interviews.

19 homeless adolescents participated in the study, 13 (68.4%) aged 16 to 19 years; 11 (57.9%) were male, 3 (15.8%) were female, and 5 (26.3%) were transgender adolescents. Participants experienced different levels of exposure and vulnerabilities to conditions that affect health and were directly related to intermediate determinants of health.

this study provides an understanding of the inequalities related to the health of homeless adolescents and shows evidence that supports strategies to promote equity and dignity in health care.

(1) Contribute with strategies towards equal access to health services and dignity in adolescent care. (2) Understand the health needs of homeless adolescents. (3) Reflect on adolescent health care. (4) Support the health system and reduce health inequities.

to understand the biographical ruptures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescent and young trans men and transmasculine people in the Brazilian context.

qualitative study - multicenter, online survey. A total of 97 self-identified trans men and 22 transmasculine people participated and completed a semi-structured form in two stages. The data was subjected to Reflective Thematic Content Analysis. The interpretation was made on a sociological basis, based on the concept of biographical rupture.

five categories were derived interruption of hormonization, surgeries and specialized follow-up; discomforts caused by the rupture of masculine characteristics, self-image, self-perception, and identity; vulnerability from the losses of family members and significant people, employment, and weakening of support networks; emergence of psycho-emotional problems, such as loss of meaning in life; demands for nursing care and valuing the life of transmasculine adolescents and young men in post-pandemic times.

the biographical ruptures caused by the pandemic threatened the identities of trans and transmasculine people of adolescents and youth, degraded and interrupted biographies, leading them to the loss of meaning in life. Nursing professionals can be strategic and essential in overcoming threats by intervening early.

(1) Shows biographical ruptures in transmasculinities during the pandemic. (2) Elucidates threats to achieving the desired trans identity. (3) Reveals barriers in services that hinder hormone transition. (4) Presents the discourse of suicide and new stressors in mental health. (5) Raises calls for nursing practice/care in adolescent health.
