Here, we announce the complete genome sequence of the Mycobacterium avium subsp. avium strain DSM 44156, also deposited as ATCC 25291 and TMC 724. The reference strain was originally described as a serotype 2 strain isolated from a hen by F. D. Chester in 1901. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Akkermansia muciniphila JCM 30893 harboring the plasmid pJ30893. Here, we announce the whole-genome sequences of two L. interrogans serovar Copenhageni strains isolated from blood samples from two icteric patients associated with severe leptospirosis in Brazil. This strain contains genes encoding a multicomponent type of phenol hydroxylase, with degradation pathways for catechol and other aromatic compounds. The genome sequence will be useful for understanding the metabolic pathways involved in phenol degradation. This strain inhibits Phytophthora capsici and Rhizoctonia solani phytopathogens. The genome size is 5.6 Mb, with a G+C content of 45.59%, and contains 5,079 genes, 4,968 coding DNA sequences (CDSs), 35 tRNAs, 3 rRNAs, and 72 unexpected miscellaneous RNA (miscRNA) features. The whole genome of this strain, BFFF11, was 3,067,042 bp, with a GC content of 37.4%. This strain triggers formation of a precipitate ("white line") when cocultured with Pseudomonas tolaasii However, LMG 1272 lacks the capacity to produce a cyclic lipopeptide that is typically associated with white line formation, suggesting the involvement of a different diffusible factor. Here, we genetically characterized an influenza A H3N2 isolate (A/swine/P17-4/2017). BLASTN analysis of the 8 gene sequences revealed a high degree of nucleotide similarity (97.0 to 99.0%) to porcine strains circulating in the Republic of Korea and the United States. Specifically, we found a high degree of similarity in the nucleotide matrix gene to those of recent isolates from North Carolina. Therefore, continuous epidemiological surveillance is necessary to monitor the variation and evolution of influenza A viruses. The average genome size was 1,622,170 bp, with 1,667 to 1,761 coding sequences and 47 to 51 RNAs. Multiple genes encoding motility, intestinal colonization, toxin production, stress tolerance, and multidrug resistance were present in all the strains. We report the draft genome sequences of three Francisella tularensis subsp. mediasiatica strains isolated in the Altai Territory, Russian Federation. This microorganism is equipped with several carbohydrate-active enzymes, which would explain its ability to fractionate lignocellulose. P3 was isolated from agricultural soil from the Badaun (midwestern plain zone) region of Uttar Pradesh, India. The genetic heterogeneity of L. reuteri is likely to contribute to differences in ecological performance within a host. Here, we report the draft genome sequences of 12 L. reuteri strains of rodent origin. However, the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Here, we show that ZGLP1, a conserved transcriptional regulator with GATA-like zinc fingers, determines the oogenic fate in mice. ZGLP1 acts downstream of bone morphogenetic protein, but not retinoic acid (RA), and is essential for the oogenic program and meiotic entry. ZGLP1 overexpression induces differentiation of in vitro primordial germ cell-like cells (PGCLCs) into fetal oocytes by activating the oogenic programs repressed by Polycomb activities, whereas RA signaling contributes to oogenic program maturation and PGC program repression. Our findings elucidate the mechanism for mammalian oogenic fate determination, providing a foundation for promoting in vitro gametogenesis and reproductive medicine. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/a1874.html Copyright © 2020 The Authors, some rights reserved; exclusive licensee American Association for the Advancement of Science.
