ng information to patients if they use Teach Back. Studies do not show what methods are best for training health care workers how to do Teach Back. The 5Ts method breaks Teach Back into five skills that help health care workers do it well. The 5Ts can also confirm use and may be helpful for research. © 2020 Anderson, Leister, De Rego.BACKGROUND Health literacy can manifest as an outcome of health education and communication, and it has potential as an antecedent for changes in health-related attitudes, values, and behaviors. Effective communication is vital for the health and safety of mining industry workers, and the ability to accurately measure impact is a necessary advancement in evaluation practices. Higher-risk, production-driven industries require specialized instruments and data collection methods that are sensitive to the workplace environment and capable of generating comprehensive and representative data, with minimal impact on productivity. OBJECTIVE This research investigated the validity, reliability, and utility of the Health Communication Questionnaire (HCQ), a new instrument for measuring interactive and critical health literacy within the mining industry. METHODS The applied research methodology included HCQ readability assessment, content validity indexing, substantive validity analysis, and reliability appraisal via a Outcomes of this research demonstrate the Health Communication Questionnaire accurately and consistently measures two forms of health literacy and is suitable for use within the mining industry. © 2020 Shannon, Parker.HEAT SHOCK PROTEINS 90 (HSP90s) are molecular chaperones that mediate correct folding and stability of many client proteins. These chaperones act as master molecular hubs, since they are involved in multiple aspects of cellular and developmental signalling in diverse organisms. Moreover, environmental and genetic perturbations affect both HSP90s and their clients, leading to alterations of molecular networks determining plant genotypes and phenotypes, and contributing to a broad phenotypic plasticity. Although HSP90 interaction networks affecting the genetic basis of phenotypic variation and diversity has been thoroughly studied in animals, they are just starting to emerge in plants. Here, we summarize current knowledge and discuss HSP90 network functions in the plant development and cellular homeostasis. © The Author(s) 2020. Objective To determine risk factors for ischemic stroke in Japanese patients with NVAF. Design, Setting, and Participants This cohort study analyzed individual patient data from 5 AF registries in Japan J-RHYTHM (Japanese Rhythm Management Trial for Atrial Fibrillation) Registry, Fushimi AF Registry, Shinken Database, Keio Interhospital Cardiovascular Studies (Keio Study), and Hokuriku-Plus AF Registry. Patients with atrial fibrillation were registered from 158 institutions in the J-RHYTHM Registry, 80 in the Fushimi AF Registry, a single hospital in Shinken Database, 11 in the Keio Study, and 19 in the Hokuriku-Plus AF Registry. Patients with valvular AF or lacking data were excluded. Data were collected and integrated in March 2016, and those es nor heart failure were identified as risk factors for ischemic stroke. Conclusions and Relevance Previous stroke, advanced age, hypertension, persistent or permanent AF, and low body mass index were independent risk factors associated with ischemic stroke in Japanese patients with NVAF.Importance Opioid-tolerant only (OTO) medications, such as transmucosal immediate-release fentanyl products and certain extended-release opioid analgesics, require prior opioid tolerance for safe use, as patients without tolerance may be at increased risk of overdose. Studies using insurance claims have found that many patients initiating these medications do not appear to be opioid tolerant. Objectives To measure prevalence of opioid tolerance in patients initiating OTO medications and to determine whether linked electronic health record (EHR) data contribute evidence of opioid tolerance not found in insurance claims data. Design, Setting, and Participants This retrospective cohort study used a national database of deidentified longitudinal health information, including medical and pharmacy claims, insurance enrollment, and EHR data, from January 1, 2007, to December 31, 2016. Data included 131 756 US residents with at least 183 days of continuous enrollment in commercial or Medicare Advantage insurance (incbeyond the data found in prescription claims. Future research is needed to understand the clinical rationale behind these observed prescribing patterns and to quantify the risk of harm to patients associated with potentially inappropriate prescribing.Importance Advanced parental age has been associated with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) in children. Selleck SAR439859 However, little is known about the association between grandparental age at the time of birth of the parent and the risk of ASD in the grandchildren. Objective To estimate the associations between parental and grandparental age and ASD risk in children. Design, Setting, and Participants This population-based, multigenerational cohort study used data from Danish national health registries. A parental age cohort was constructed to evaluate the association between parental age and ASD in 1 476 783 singleton children born from 1990 to 2013, and a multigenerational cohort was also constructed including 362 438 fathers and 458 234 mothers born from 1973 to 1990 for whom information on grandparental age was available. Data analyses were conducted from November 1, 2018, through February 7, 2020. Exposures Parental age at childbirth and grandparental age at the time of the birth of the parent. Main Outcomes and Measures Diagnoses of ASD in children were obtained from the Danish Psychiatric Central Register (1994-2017).
