7 ng/ml in the serum chemerin level was found to estimate clinical pregnancy with 91% sensitivity and 49% specificity (Area under the curve 0.65; 95% confidence interval, 0.52-0.78). Clinical pregnancy rates were significantly higher in group with lower serum chemerin levels (80.0% versus 30.4%,
< .001). High serum chemerin levels are associated with failure of assisted reproduction [OR0.1(95% CI, 0.03-0.4,
< .001)].
PCOS is associated with higher serum and ff chemerin levels and high serum chemerin level is a risk factor for failed ART cycle.

A few studies have reported the use of middle ear implants (MEIs) in older adults.
To evaluate the audiologic outcomes and postoperative complications of MEIs in older adults.
This retrospective study reviewed audiologic data and medical records from a single referral centre. We identified 34 patients aged ≥65 years who underwent middle ear implantation using the Vibrant Soundbridge
device. Preoperative audiometric testing and postoperative aided audiometric testing were performed to evaluate the functional hearing gain at 1 year postoperatively. Patients were divided into 2 groups depending on whether they underwent explantation because of poor hearing benefit.
Follow-up duration ranged from <1 to 5.3 years. The functional gain with MEIs significantly improved relative to the preoperative air conduction thresholds at 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 kHz. Eight patients underwent explantation and 7 lost their external audio processor devices. Those who removed their implants because of the poor hearing (group 1) showed significantly worse hearing thresholds at 1 kHz and speech discrimination scores than the others (group 2).
MEIs for auditory rehabilitation can provide improved speech recognition and significant functional gains in older adults. Patients must be given appropriate preoperative explanations regarding the expected outcomes.

Nevertheless, the drawbacks of this technique are a blind technique, if the sinus has some ramifications or a non-linear development, we cannot be sure for their destruction. Methods 17 patients (12 men, 5 women) were operated with US guided laser destruction - US guided Si.La.D. Laser destruction of the pathological tissue (cavity, sinus) was performed using a 400 μ radial optical fiber, connected and locked to a radiopaque biopsy needle 14 G, using a 12 MHz linear probe, to introduce and real-time echo guide the fiber in order to achieve laser ablation with 120-140 J /cm of pathological tissueResults No significant complications were recorded. Conclusion Real-time echo guided laser ablation of pilonidal sinus and cavities proved to be safe and efficient, providing controlled emission of laser energy only to the pathological tissue, increasing the accuracy of identify the right track to deliver energy, decreasing the risk of traumatic progression of surgical instrument into healthy subcutaneous tissue, accidental progression of the disease and missing in the same time tracts that need to be ablate.
To present efficacy and safety of 0.19 mg fluocinolone acetonide insert (FAi) to treat chronic noninfectious uveitis (NIU) in a single referral center.
A retrospective observational clinical study of 11 eyes with NIU complicated by chronic cystoid macular edema (CMO).
The main indication for treatment was chronic CMO in all 11 eyes. The mean central retinal thickness (CRT) at baseline was 435μm ± 176, improving to 296μm ± 67 at 12months. Raised intraocular pressure (IOP) was the commonest adverse event. An IOP >21mmHg was observed in three eyes, and >30mmHg in one eye, managed with topical therapy. The mean best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was stable at 12months. There were no observed recurrences of uveitis. Two eyes received adjunctive treatment for worsening CRT.
Our results suggest FAi is an effective maintenance treatment for NIU with favorable functional and anatomical outcomes.

The national nephrology database of Montenegro has been used to conduct this research. Mortality rate prediction is realized with accuracy up to 94.12% and up to 96.77%, when a complete database is observed and when a reduced database (that contains data for the three most common basic diseases) is observed, respectively. Additionally, it is shown that just a few parameters, most of which are collected during the sole patient examination, are enough for satisfying results.Craniopharyngioma (CPG) is a benign epithelial tumor that originates from Rathke's pouch. Meningiomas (MNG) are neoplasms of meningothelial cell. The patient is a 42-year-old female who presented with left-sided temporal headaches and visual acuity impairment. Neurological examination revealed bilateral peripheral visual field defects. Imaging of the brain showed a hypointense solid-cystic sellar lesion with suprasellar extension without calcification which enhanced with contrast. Alizarin Red S in vitro Also present was a second, contrast-enhancing extra axial lesion overlying the olfactory groove. The patient had no history of tumor surgery or radiation therapy. Both of the lesions were operated for resection and post operation status was uneventful. This study reports non-radiation related co-occurrence of a craniopharyngioma (CPG) and a meningioma (MNG). We reviewed published articles between 1966 and 2020, and found that although MNGs are the most commonly occurring brain tumors, the occurrence of MNG and CPG together with no relation to radiation is relatively rare, reported only 7 times in living patients.
